Sorry for being late with this update! 😱 Plants are maturing well but I noticed Matcha is developing slower compared to Pistachio and I assume that's because the height of the lights are very different from each plant, but both are still going forward. A clear sign of maturity is Pistachio's brighter color leafs and the amount of "brown" pistils on both plants. Trichomes are developing well too. Anyway, I think I will give Pistachio one more week and then see how Matcha develops to cut her. I also started to defoliate my girls, there were tons of dying leaves! See you all in my next update!

This is my Northern Lights i got in a freebie pack quite a while ago. I planted it in my veg room for kicks as i have never been interested in growing an auto. Im lucky enough to have two tents so I use my Veg room for experiments and cloning as well. As you can see even though I germed it a week after my Blue Dream (check my diary :)) it quickly turned into this monster. SO For your pleasure I present my first Auto, lets see how she does!

10/11/24 she had gotten so overly dry that she was impossible to water. i had to scrape and break of the dry spots all around the soil and root ball so that water could penetrate. she was root bound from a solo cup and then as well from 1 gallon to 3 gallon. once the rootbound spots got overly dry, they became super hydrophobic and i didnt realize how bad it was. that may be what's been affecting the over all health of the plant. finally able to get her to hold weight in water so im hopefull 10/15 pistils are getting thrown out everywhere. a bit of a stretch so far but not too much. maybe a couple inches or

These girls are smelling amazing! I'm so excited about the purple Zkittlez phenotype! It's the dominant smell in the grow space. I flushed each plant with pure filtered water @ 6.25pH

The super lemon haze auto and the sour Diesel auto went to the chopping block. I cut them up into different branches instead of drying the complete plant like I always do, because the plants were to densly grown and would clump together while drying. (Super lemon haze drying in the back, behind the frankendiesel). Hung them in a tent with 50% humidity and around 18-19°C for the first 2 days. Then I will raise the humidity to 58% for 4-5 days. The last days they will be around 62% before going into the Cure Vaults Now let's play the waiting game. The Amnesia haze auto is still stacking, but showing brown spots and yellowing. I think it's calcium def.. but I have been giving calmag almost every feeding. So I 'm thinking it's a nutriënt blockage or something. So I gave her a flush yesterday and fed her again for the 2nd time today. See how that go's. Also put her in the other tent under the spider farmer SF2000 so the triple cheese photoperiod can use the spider farmer SE3000 to flower.

6/9 MONDAY 12am. Looks good. Using distilled water in a spray bottle for now, did a light mix of Grow Con .5ml per L ONE TIME...good. 6/10 weed good. In a kit stickers temperature indicators too hot icon shows hot face or something. without power like fishtanks sticker thermometer. 3pm BPP Picture today Analog special effects lost a day to lighting and special effects all practical im also a tiny bit demonic it adds to the character. 4pm look up fluid dispersal in root medium 6/13 5am everyone looks good medium lights. Now to try the fiberglass cubes.... tired of bugs hope I dont regret this... 6/14 1230pm looking good. no problems. very tired. found a little pair of unicorn slippers from a long time ago. probably headed to another Leaving Las Vegas melt down so who knows. 1pm 6/15 245am BPP is hard to grow. so its good for a small container grow since it seems to be a smaller plant, bigger containers dont make that much of a difference. It's this one is growing great setting 5 on AC Humidity dome now, with blue & red as well full power. The girls are starting to pack on some weight. I'm still learning so it feels like I will kill them at any moment but I can see that isn't the case so far. Here is to making it another week <3

I flushed 2 times this week to deprive it of nutes then I schwazzing the heck out of it waited 8 hours till it was bone dry and blasted it with 100% nutes with reduced cal-mag mix after this it took about 20 hours to see the buds gain about 15% more size. The foliage is showing the signs of stress I'm give it but the buds are doing what it want.

2 Girls 1 Cup week 7 is it? How time is flying by. Day 42- still eating like pigs, so I'm bumping up the formula and doing 50/50 tap/RO for now on. Bubbled of course. Spots of calcium deficiency on GC here and there for the last week and I have seen a few spots on WG also. Still used 5mL calmag per gal as max dose to hopefully keep spotting from spreading. Raised my bucket to 374ppm prior to nutes. Decent defol tonight and I got a net back out to hold these down and spread em out as much as possible. One branch on WG has taken over as the main I guess and it's hard as f. Only place it's going is up lol.. 22in from the light as of RN, getting 37.2 DLI. Going to work up to 40 this week and see how they like it. GC really needs to hurry up. Can't let WG get too amber and can't leave dead rotting roots in the system right? Crossing my fingers GC hurries TF up in the end, or it may get cut early. RES change around 6pm tonight, modified week 2 bloom GHE medium. Breakdown as follows: 2gal water/calmag - 374ppm Hydroguard - 5mL Micro - 12.6mL Grow - 12mL Bloom - 15mL RES totals after PH corrections - 1453 @ 5.71. Plants 14in ^ Lights 22in ^ DLI 37.2 =========================================================================================== Day 43- McGuiver'd some external RES together tonight. Waterfarm site tube is now extended into a return line to the external RES. Small cat drinking fountain pump in the base of the external with a 1/4in fitting plastic welded on the 3/8 outlet of it. This thing trickles, just like I wanted. 1/4in line runs to my old fill port on the front of the waterfarm. Constant circulation from one res to the other. Waterfarm started life as a 2gal RES system. Roots fill it up and take up precious space. Roots were even coming out of the site tube lol. When I pump it out for a change lately, Im barely getting a gallon... side res and waterfarm combined now hold a little over 4gal now with the root mass filling a large portion of the farm. Ill actually measure one of these times. If I raise the farm up more, I can hold more in the side RES. 4 or so should cut it, they don't have much longer right? Filled with same formulation as last fill, just 4 or so gal instead of 2. Mixed 5, left with 1? in the bucket when I hit fill line. This may help conserve some water once I finally get their EC dialed in. Not only do I play my plants music throughout their day, I even sing to them from time to time.. Hopefully I don't lose any watchers with my horrible singing in the vid tonight 🤣🤣 =========================================================================================== Day 44- Why didn't I start this experiment off with an external RES? Damn the stability of more volume is a definite PLUS! Haven't had to adjust PH or top off 2 or more times a day since. Been letting the level drop and watching numbers while keeping PH in check. I think I've finally found a stable EC too. For now anyway. Water level drops, EC drops slightly, ph rises slightly. Taking almost 24hrs to swing from 5.61 up to 6.12 instead of 8-12hr. Been thinking about cutting back GC and just keeping it alive so dead roots don't disrupt WG but let WG finish as best it can. GC is THAT far behind from the looks of it. Trimmed em both up late in their day yesterday. Open it up a bit so the lowers on WG can bulk up too. Adding to the list of things I should have done differently and will share at the very end. =========================================================================================== Day 45- ditched the net AGAIN tonight. No leak, shit was just annoying being in my way. Also been thinking ALLOT about my choices in life... latest is why did I plant two diff strains in the same pot and how can I make the best of it? They don't grow at the same rate or eat the same. WG is a PIG! Thought long and hard and have made the decision to cut back GC some to give WG her room to bloom. WG didn't stretch much and GC is still going. Keep supercropping it to keep it out of the fan and same distance from the light as WG. I have to keep both alive till the end, unless I throw in the towel on GC at WG harvest and chop em both. Really don't want to waste the experiment, so I may get creative at the end. Only have the one tent and was planning on drying in it since I've got the closet its in dialed in. Really don't want to make a cardboard dry box... =========================================================================================== Day 46- Going to wean these girls off the N next RES change. GC is starting to stretch more, and still refusing to make the transition. maybe less N will do the trick?? kick up the bloom a bit as well. WG is ready for it for sure. GC may have an issue with it, but she'll survive. gave em both a defol before lights out today. heavier on GC than WG since WG isnt bushing up as fast as she used to. the light frosting is getting more populated also. side RES is working out beautifully! =========================================================================================== Day 47- little prune on GC today to keep it out of WG's way. Plucked a few here and there off WG to keep it opened up. Colas everywhere! Going to be one short dense plant that's for sure. If GC gets to a finish, it's going to be a bunch of popcorn from the looks of it. Time will tell. =========================================================================================== Day 48- light prune on GC to keep it out of the way, since its decided to be like 3wk behind WG. maybe tonights RES change will punt it in gear, and itll start exploding in flowers... yeah, i smoked before typing this so the pipe dreams are real on this one.. dialing back the calmag plus (since it has N in it) to 4mL a gallon. dialing back the N in the modified formulation from GHE week 3 "mid bloom" medium feed. formulation as follows: Tap/Zero Water - 2.5gal/2.5gal 81ppm calmag plus - 20mL ^ to 307ppm Micro - 26.5mL Grow - 26.5mL Bloom - 41mL RES totals after PH corrections - 1148ppm @ 5.63. Measured the total volume needed to fill both the waterfarms RES and the external RES and it came to 18.4L. i scooped nearly every drop out of the side RES, but didnt even tilt the waterfarm. so there was prob a quarter to a half gal left in the farm. safe to say roughly 19L capacity. a HUGE increase from a measly 8L from factory. thats before roots fill the RES too, leaving you with NOTHING for water/nutes. so ill have to measure once again when the system is empty and see the true total volume without fillers. tis the end of week 7 i suppose. i will update the timelapse tomorrow afternoon to wrap up the week. i have a 3 week day 27-47 vid on YT if you're actually reading this and want to see the up to date clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKtqPxKeMNM *edit* looks like GC is finally starting to hit the transition harder closer to end of the day today looking at vid.. =========================================================================================== As always, thanks for stopping by and checking out my current grow experiment. GOOD MORNING VIETNAM😈💚 Week 6 Day 35: Pics from this noon. Mutants main cola is strecthing like crazy😁 like 30 cm in a week. Not as many white pistils as the other 2 girls. Tb; i topped the 2 other ones. I'm lil worried mutant cola will continue streching till it hits light😁 they continue drinking lots of nute water and no complaints yet😎 One love 💚 Day 37: no nute burn!! I was fully expectin bad nute burn when i fed them on 1600ppm😁 but they seemed to be ok with it ä, although i gave them ph water the next day (36). I might be dumb but seeing the girls are not showing any sings of slowing down or nute burning and all checks out, i gave 900ppm feeding. ( All cal w 0.5 ). Colas have starting to see first snow💚 Day 38: Morning fellow greenthumbs💚 Today i defoliated #3 mutant, did some lst aswell. Gave feeding of 1.9 ec ph 5.7. checked runoff and came as 6.3 and ec 1.9 (might be high from 1600ppm feed😂) no signs of lockout or burns👌👌snapped brach yesterday cos forgot not to train after watering🙁 but got it taped up really quickly and seems like it has maked a recovery😇 Day 39: Had quite busy day as i germinated 2 other strains so no pics. Gave girls ph water of 5.9, 1.8L per gal. No news, mutant is streching but 1 and 2 are full flower and fattening sites😎💚 Day 40: gave #3 and #1 feeding and ph 6.3. skipped plant 2 cos pot was heavy and had still lil bit of runoff. Amazing budsite and frostness development! Even the fan leaves are getting real frosty❄️😎 Day 43: All good , giving 5.9ph 900ppm feedings and check runoff. Beatiful snowy tops😍

Double Dunked got harvested 16/11 and I'm planning to let her dry for 14-21 days before trimming and put them in glass+boveda (58%) and grove bags for final cure. Drying conditions are as follows: 16-18°C 55-60% RH

Growth, growth, growth…. They are vegging out now! Definitely seeing the size of my tent getting smaller and smaller this week. Getting ready to bloom soon! I do have to note … the funny guys on the side are from a failed attempt earlier grow this year. We def weren’t ready for them… they got cold, the soil wasn’t right. I got all of that right finally but they instantly went into bloom and def weren’t ready. Oh well!

Things have been going well as I continued to train the stretching girls to the side of the pots, bending and adding ties where needed. Pheno 1 started showing signs of over watering showing droopy leaves as well as what I think is either nitrogen, magnesium or iron deficiency. I'm leaning towards a iron deficiency since the yellowing is on the newest growth at the top. I think this was caused from giving her too much top amendments in her last feed causing a pH imbalance. What I would usually do is just give her a little flush if this is the case but instead I decided to repot her and the other Pheno into their last 19 litre/4 gallong pots as both were drinking pretty quick and I wanted to avoid over watering again. The rootballs looked beautiful when I transplanted them so I was pretty happy with their progress! This round I've ditched the coco as I had way too many issues with it in the past, including knats and PH issues. In this round I've gone with Biobizz light soil which I added some fish blood and bone, earthworm castings, bat guano and then watered with water and liquid seaweed. I love organic growing :). I do intend on using Coco again but I'll need to do some research on some trusted brands. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know! Pheno 2 is showing signs of recovery but I'd love the input from others about what the deficiency could be? I got my new bubblebags today which is making me want to flip to flower so I can get to harvesting and making some bubble but I'm going to be super patient this round. I want these girls to fill up as much of my 4 x4 tent space as possible. Until next week! ✌️

Week 3 (27-11 to 3-12) What's good everyone? We started this week off with removing the 2 bottom shoots. The next day Santa came early 😁 Got 2 new clip fans and the AC5 Power strip from Spider Farmer. The power strip has 5 outlets you can control in the app, they can be turned on based on a time cycle, humidity or temps. It comes with a sensor that monitors light, temperature, and humidity. And a soil sensor that monitors soil moisture (VWC), temperature, and electrical conductivity (EC). It also has a light adapter to connect 2 lights, that can be controlled in the app aswell. The app shows the current VPD, i try to keep this around 1.0. In the middle of the week we topped her aswell. The next day we increased the light intensity from 30% to 35%. LUX: 13.000/13.500 to LUX: 15.000/15.500 This week's growing conditions were 17.9°C to 22.4°C with a humidity of 55.5% to 67.6% and watered 2 times with 0.5L. See you next week!
