We made it to the end of week 4 and I switched the light to 12/12 today. I brought in a sour sorbet from DNA that has been vegging for almost 7 weeks in another room. She never had a water change from day 1 and she has stayed pretty happy. I just topped off her reservoir about once a week and increased nutrients as needed. The twisted helix has showed some steady growth over the past week and is looking much better. Still behind the other plants but am looking forward to seeing how she flowers. Nutrients are pumping 24 hours a day and I added more light for a total of 1000 watts. I will be crushing stems to try to slow down stretch if anyone tries to get out of control.

What’s going on lady’s an gentleman. we got the Moab strains going on W/1 in living soil. They where planted into the root riot cube an treated with neem oil to kill off the fungus gnats, they are thriving now. An getting bigger as the day goes. They will be trans planted into the auto pot system at end of this week. Into the 2x4. Under the double UFL3000 mounted on custom frame. Pumping 402w from the wall. Currently both the girls are in the veg/solo cup cabinet under the UF2000 100w light. Currently 60% rh and temps running 79 lights on. Thanks for viewing an happy growing!

Huge stretch this week. She has bushed out quite alot. Never expected this much growth with the light schedule. Multiple bud sites appearing and she's showing no signs of stress. 🤞

This is part of a gentle, prolonged flush phase I like to implement, giving the plants a chance to metabolize and fade naturally. The goal is to promote clean, vibrant flowers that finish with optimal expression, without rushing the process. No forced flush, just time and care. Lighting-wise, the spectrum has been tuned with precision — we’re currently running 40% on the whites, with reds and UVs at 100% to drive trichome development, resin production, and color expression in these final days. The plants are loving it — they’re soaking in the deeper wavelengths that signal the end of their life cycle and responding with a final push of energy. And yes — we’ve been running 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness from the very start of flower. It’s not the usual 12/12, and it comes with its pros and cons. On the upside, it helps speed up ripening slightly, encourages more compact flower formation, and mimics the natural seasonal decline in daylight. On the flip side, it slightly reduces the overall DLI (daily light integral), so you need to ensure your PPFD and spectrum are dialed in just right to avoid sacrificing yield. It’s the 9th week of flower and this run is slowly coming to an end. Mimosa is by far the fastest finisher here. In 8 weeks there is around 30 % amber trichomes in the top buds. A little too much for my taste. I ve reduced the ec in the medium of mimosas to around 1.0 and took the drippers out. Now they will dry out fully in around 1 or 2 days and I will chop. The rest is more or less similar and will go for about a week more.
