Buds are growing... I'm quite happy about my first scrog...

The Ganja Gelato girls are done! This was this their last week. I had been watching the trichomes closely daily, and by Thursday (day 77), they were ready. A nice mix of almost all cloudy and a few ambers peeking through 😋. They had 4 full water feeds to runoff, so I feel that they are ready to go. I no longer do a 48 hour dark period before harvest, so it’s happening, happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

It has been about a year since my last diary had to take some time off. My wife had cancer. We had to take care of that now I'm back. Maybe I can get a diary or 2 .

9/25 - Top dressed with 3-9-4 flower girl a couple days ago. It had been 3 weeks since my last feed. Also watered on 9/22 with Fish Shit, CalMag Plus, and Tree Trunk at my usual doses. The plants look amazing. Flowering is such a beautiful process. Can't wait for the next few weeks! I've been doing light defoliation every day to keep top bud sites in the light and also keep airflow going. Lesson learned, 2 plants in a tent this size with the way I train and top is plenty! Otherwise I run out of room! 9/27 - Did some defoliation and lollipopping today. Will likely water tomorrow. 9/28 - Watered today with my usual nutrient combo described in this weekly entry. 9/29 - Plants are SO happy. Leaves are up and praying! Flowers are starting to show a little density too!

Casually working up to week two nutrients which are shown. Babies look like they handled the flip very very well considering their long strenuous lives and the extra stress they got with the shwazzing! You can see they have put on easily 1.5-2inches in some areas. I could use some more light probably going to try and get another before the end of flower. Adjusted canopy and moved some plants around for more even coverage but also easier watering and clean up for stagnant water! That will be the last time I adjust before I let them just do their thing and stretch! Also been foliar feeding fish mix every three days at .5 ml/l

So this is how things are looking for the ladies at the end of Week 9 of Flower, through out week 9 they have been getting just plain PH water for the flushing stage. One thing I forgot to mention on the video is that I checked the ladies Trichomes and only one of them is ready for harvest, the other shorter lady needs another week or so. What I can i say other than Ethos Genetics kicks ass. I love growing their gear and will continue for as long as I can. This girl here took very well to training and feeding increases. Her terpene profile early on was undeniably Strawberry but gradually took a citrus dominant turn with some notes of pine. She was a moderate strechter and produced nice full trichomes that I'm sure would give a great return if pressed. The buds themselves are extremely sticky,pungent and dense. I used CX Horticulture and did what most dont do and used the recommended feeding chart 😲🙈🙊. I am glad to say she took it like a champ and for future grows of this strain I know I can up my ppm/EC next time. I yielded 6.25 ounces off of a 10 gallon pot and I know that's not impressive but it's my first time growing in a pot that big so many things learned. I will say after looking at the rootball I could have vegged for several more weeks but again knowledge is power and I've gained some 😉
