Let’s Go day 29!! This week went real nice ! Girls are staying very healthy and building up nicely and even started showing signs of female sex which is super great ! We started doing a little bit of leaf tuck training method on em , nothing to big as like I said I want these girls just to do there thang an grow more on naturally side! My Air temp and Humidity have been on point all week, staying from 70-75 degrees throughout the day and humidity staying around 58-61% humidity , my girls are loving that summer an 75 feeling !! Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's always exciting to see the fruits of our labor fully realized. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following along on this journey. Your interest and support mean the world. There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I will try and update daily Germination requires 3 things - Darkness , Warmth , Water One thing i should mention - Growing autoflowers, is difficult to do well,why? because from the moment that seed sprouts, you have a finite amount of time before she is finished, so any fucking about with anything ( repotting,pests,nutrient issues) , will lower yield.You can sometimes get them finished in 10 weeks on 20/4 but unless you have a controlled environment its hard to go more than 18/6 without heat and humidity issues.Autoflower breeding has come a long way in the last 10 years,Fast Buds is one of the pioneers. Day 1 - Tuesday 16/10/18 Put into wet root it cubes , then into the net pots with the clay pebbles, then pots into my rooting dwc boxes , placed a dome over the top to increase the humidity . Day 2 - Weds , nothing happening yet ! Day 3 - Thursday , I think she has popped , not quite up yet , see pink picture Turned light on 17/7 , why ? because I think this is best @ 13-15,000 lux Bestva 800 (150 watt draw) Led approx £100 , I would buy the dimable cob version if you can .(900 or 1200) Day 4 - Friday , looks a little distorted , has she got three leaves ? night time took a pic on the G7 .... Day 5 - Saturday , definitely three leaves , might just be the first node , fingers crossed she will be fine , was quite worried she wouldn’t make it , gave her 20 ml of room temperature water , with a syringe onto the root it cube , Day 6 - Sunday , looking ok , nice and green , I’m hoping the roots will be into the reservoir by now , you have to love fast buds , the germination rates are almost 100% , I have included a picture with the rest of the pots , for reference , there is a gorilla glue and a tangiematic, two of my favourite Fast Buds strains , which I started around the same time , IMPORTANT- do no let the root it cubes dry out before the roots are into the reservoir , make sure the bottom of the net pot DOES NOT touch the water Day 7 - Monday , I checked the water level and the ph , it has lost a little due to evaporation , root is well into the reservoir , I will add some nutrients tomorrow, seed on top right has pushed up but no leaves, this is NOT a fast buds seed, just shows u,... i have also put more pebbles in to cover up the holes, it would be nice if they did a pot that didnt have holes all the way to the top !!! Building DWC - you can build a DWC quite easily , out of cheap items , the ones in this week , were made by a friend of mine (Kev) when he spotted the box at Poundland for £1 - all you need is a black plastic box ( black so no light penetrates the roots ) with a lid , a 127mm hole cutter , air pump with tube and air stone , 140mm net pots to go in holes , some clay pebbles , and root it cubes , I will make a little instructional video , the reason I put them in here is because I will transfer into my IWS oxypots , which are too big to go into the tent ,and as the led is better with small plants it’s much easier .

Ready to chop. Just letting a few go a bit longer. Some of the salt build up early on certainly taking away from trich development I believe.. and some yield for sure.. but #1 is a champ. Least color of all but buds still have color and so much more size than 2&3. 2 was a late one to the party but showing out now. Probably the frostiest and I get if I had em tested would top them all in cannabinoids.

Shoot!!!! They’re beginning to thickening up, i’ve done some lst for 5 days and now they’re pretty good. I’m letting them grow and will begin to tie the other branches when they will be big enough!

420Fastbuds-Week 6 Cinderella Auto What up grow fam. Weekly update on these 2 beautiful 😍 ladies. They got moved over to the flower tent this week. Temperatures have gone up tremendously since it seems summer weather has finally got here. Over all they seem to be handling it, OK. I'll most likely do a defoliation this week thinning it out to allow more air flow. All in all Happy Growing

BB2 and GG2 showing widely scattered amber trichomes on the main cola mostly. Neither tent has a strong smell yet. Not the most fragrant strains, from what I'm reading. Learning to use my USB microscope for trichome pictures. Difficult to hold steady for good pics in the tent. Don't want to pull pots out anymore. Tips for better trichomes pics would be greatly appreciated!

Vamos actualizar la séptima semana de floración de estas Biscotti de RoyalQueenSeeds. Un SOG que empezó mal pero que se ven con un buen color y avanzan progresivamente, se marcan un color increíble y las flores van formándose, así que a estar atentos. La humedad es perfecta, la temperatura la e podido corregir y ya la tenemos 22 grados. Añadi la base, Blue line B de Agrobeta. Esta semana añadí tucán, silver, mega Pk, tricoma, explotacogollos y terminator también de Agrobeta. Estoy controlando el ph está alrededor de 6- 6,5. Normalmente riego cada 24 horas y más o menos cada planta está tragando 1 litro de agua en cada riego. Vamos viendo cómo progresan estas últimas semanas. This week has gone fine no problems to report buds are starting to bulk slightly and trichomes are present!! The smell is delightful once again only slight but I’m getting hints of orange and cream with like a sour/fizzy smell 😎👌🏽

The runtz are about 45cm start of this week and the tall LCC is 75cm. She is also further into flower, but did not spread out so much in the tent. RAK seems to be very good with high PPFD, for the LCC they need a bit less I can feel.

*****Week 14 growth – March 6 to 12, 2021 – Week 5 flower ****** This girl keeps chugging along. Her resin rails are looking awesome. A little dark green maybe but not worried. Looking for some bud swelling to kick in!! Bud Fusion being introduced this week. Into the last phase of feeding during flower now. Nitrogen is continued to be reduced as its late flower. Keeping up the feeding ppm this week as we are getting to the end. May be pushing them a little more than I should but finding out how they react for next run. Still continuing to play with the light intensity and seeing how the girls react to my environment conditions when pushed harder. Could have backed off and stayed with 100, 300, 600, 900 PAR levels at the different stages but I have trying to go a little higher in the late stages and going over 1,000 PAR. Little more detail….. Mar 6/21, Day 29 - Dry out day - Changed light cycle to 11/13 today to help with light intensity and reducing DLI. - Light power reduced to 425 watts Mar 7/21, Day 30 - Keeping up the feeding but reducing nitrogen. - feeding with micro – 1.5, bloom – 2.5, ult B – 0.5, carbs – 1, B Storm – 2, S Storm – 2.5, Bud Fusion 0.15gr/l, Terp – 1.5, Jet Fuel – 0.5, Rezin 1 - 1150ppm and 6.0pH - 2.5L Mar 8/21, Day 31 - Watering with 2L feed from yesterday and 16L plain water - Over shot the pH - 400ppm and 5.9pH Mar 9/21, Day 32 - Feeding again with Grow – 0.5, Micro – 1, Bloom – 1.5, Carbs – 1, Magnifical – 1 - Didn’t add many of the supplements - 875ppm and 6.0pH - 2.5L Mar 10/21, Day 33 - Middle of the week and just giving some enzymes today - Enzymes – 1.5ml - 300ppm and 6.1pH - 3L Mar 11/21, Day 34 - Microbes again today - Tap water with Jet Fuel – 1ml, Terpinator – 2ml, Nature’s Candy – 1.5ml, Rezin – 1ml, Ultimate B+ - 0.5ml, Recharge – 1tsp/gal - 800ppm and 6.0pH - 3L Mar 12/21, Day 35 - Dry out day - Been feed a couple of times this week so work with ¾ strength next week.
