Hey everyone :-). Today is the flowering day 56 since the time change to 12/12 h. Both phenotypes continue to develop great 😍. The flowers are getting thicker and thicker and are slowly but surely coming to an end 😄. They smell extremely tasty 😍. On the leaves you can clearly see that it is slowly consuming its last nutrients :-). Next week the trichomes will be checked and then a decision will be made when and how they are rinsed :-). It was poured 3 times this week per pot with 1.2 l. The tent was cleaned and the humidifier refilled :-). Otherwise there is nothing to report this week and I wish you a lot of fun with the update 🙏🏻. Week 14 Day 92 (10/16) Checked her trichomes and she's just starting to show some amber. She may need watered tonight, probably will add in some Mammoth P and molasses too. Day 93 (10/17) I've been slacking on updates and pics, but there's just not too much to say or document. She's still doing her thing, really looking more frosty than the first partial harvest. Thinking I should have waited a bit longer for the first cut, but oh well, it still gets the job done. I have held off on watering as her pot is still pretty heavy. It was lighter this morning so maybe this afternoon I will water her. I'm keeping an eye on her trichomes as I want there to be more amber for the final harvest. Day 94 (10/18) Everything from the partial harvest has been dried and I finally weighed it all. Came out to around 48.5g (including the 4-5g we've been smoking on). There's still plenty more on her. Everything has been jarred up for a few days and I've got Boveda packs in the jars too. Day 98 (10/22) Checked the trichomes this morning and I think I might put her in the dark for 48 hours starting tomorrow night. She's turning into a fuggin 100 day auto. Day 99 (10/23) Well, I made the executive decision to prep her for harvest. When her lights went off last night, I unplugged it from the timer so she'll have her 48 hours of dark. I also added some ice cubes around her base. I've read about the dark helping and the ice simulating a frost, but I've never done this so we'll see. Shouldn't hurt right? So I'll be harvesting her Saturday night or Sunday. And hopefully popping another over the weekend 😃 Day 100 (10/24) Well she's been in the dark almost her 48 hours. I have family in town tonight, so she may have to wait until tomorrow to get cut. Or I might just stay up half the night and get her down tonight lol. We'll see. Day 101 (10/25) Technically week 15, but who's counting. Cut her down today. Got her cleaned up and into paper bags to dry. Will get a weight and post the harvest once she's dry. Getting another one ready to go 😉

lovely OG to grow, touched my plants with oil on my fingers dumb move hey see video. This is 1 of the easiest strains I have ever grown in 0ver 30 years, topped once no lst and thrive at a ph of 6.7 they use everything around 5litres in 4 days the pots are light and dry but not bone dry.

I pollinated a side bud of this girl and her seeds are developing quickly. Which is exciting for the sake of future grows. Other then that the buds are not super big at all but look super quality so I am happy with how things are progressing. As the week comes to an end the trichromes are really coming in and she is starting to smell very nice. I think one more week of flowering to fatten up a little more and then I will flush to finish. I learned that I started to feed flowering nutes to early and so my first two autos did not get super tall as a result. Learning a lot with my first indoor grow and first time with autos, I read a really solid breakdown of Autoflowers lifecycle that was super informative. I'll leave here, and post it with my final harvest post here. Knowledge is power 😎 LIFECYCLE OF AN AUTO A common question I see is when to switch autos from veg to bloom. Many people are under the impression that as soon as they see the first flowers it's time to switch. Perhaps a little explanation of the life cycle of autos will help to clarify this. Weeks 1 - 3. Once you've started your seeds and they break the surface of the soil, they are in their seedling stage. The first set of leaves to appear will usually single fingered, followed by a second set that may still be single fingered or perhaps 3 fingered. Once that second set appears growth will start to accelerate as the new leaves provide more photosynthesis. This process will continue, more new leaves, faster growth. Depending on the type of soil in use, mild vegetative nutes can be introduced at week 2. By week 3 most plants will start to show their sex. Males will start to produce pollen sacks and females will display pistils. Weeks 4 - 6. The plants are now entering a pre flowering stage. During this time the plants should exhibit explosive growth, often as much as a new set of nodes and 1" vertical growth a day. This is the time when they will gain most of their vertical height. Many people make the mistake of switching from vegetative to flowering nutrients at this point, assuming that since they see flowers it must be the proper time. This is incorrect. If the switch to flowering nutes is made at this time the vertical growth will stop and the plant will put it's energy into producing buds. If you need to keep your plants small, or want them to finish earlier, they by all means switch nutes at this point. But if you want to get the most out of your plants continue feeding vegetative nutes until you see the vertical growth slow and stop. Depending on the strain that will usually be sometime during week 5 or 6. Weeks 7 - 9. By now vertical growth has stopped and the switch to flowering nutrients has been made. The buds will start to fill out and put on weight, becoming hard and tight. Pistols will start to change from white to brown, orange, red, etc. By now the plants will also have developed a strong smell. Toward the end of this phase the large primary and smaller secondary fan leaves will begin to turn yellow. This is an indication that the plant is moving toward the end of it's life. Weeks 10 - 11. At this time flowering nutes should be discontinued and only plain pHed water fed to flush the remaining nutrients from the soil and improve the taste. Yellowing of the fan leaves will continue as the plant draws the stored energy from them. Eventually they will die and fall off. By the time that the smaller leaves that come from out of the buds will also start to turn yellow. Then it's time to harvest. I know that many of you are thinking that the seed bank said the plants will finish in 8-9 weeks, so why are you saying they take 10-11? The claims made by the seed banks are somewhat deceptive. If you switch to flowering nutes at week 3 or 4 the plants can finish in the times the seed banks say but they will remain small and not reach their full potential yield. Years of growing by myself and others has shown that autos do best if you follow this time line. Of course, there will always be variations depending on the strain, the environment, nutrients, etc. This information is meant to only serve as a general guideline.

I believe I have two weeks left. Trichomes are cloudy, see a spot of amber here and there. Love the couch lock, so waiting for more amber. Limey Skunky smells are strong. Bud shape is like a small pine cone. I have more seeds, so I will definitely search for a mom, after one more harvest.

So I had a few issue. I over watered early on, took them out the seed tray early, started feeding them a week or two late, no humidifier yet but they recovered well.

it seems to have taken the topping i did on day 4 of flower really well! loving the sativa phenotypes im seeing from this girl, hopefully its an energetic smoke

Flipped the lights to 12/12, plants have initiated their stretch. I switched the compost tea brew to Terp Tea Bloom.

EXPERIMENT: Still waiting on the teapot to boil the water properly, but the photos and video of the "still" attached to this diary shows proof of concept. The sludge coming out is from the copper tubing manufacturing process, it'll eventually stop. I need to get the real setup built and run a couple gallons through the tube. Plant B is coming along nicely! I have a feeling it's going to finish around week 6 rather than the full 8 week period advertised. So I've started the flushing process. I can always add nutrients if necessary. Flushed twice this week with 2.5 gal of pH-adjusted distilled water. Plant A doesn't seem to like the bud blaster. I think it'll finish around the 8 weeks advertised. I flushed all week same as plant B, though I will probably add more nutrients to A next week. It just seemed to be getting some nutrient burn so I wanted to back off.

29.12. - Plants are doing well. All of them have developed second pair of leaves. 🌿 30.12. - I could not believe my eyes when I looked into growbox this morning. The Apple Fritter seed that I thought was dead sprouted next to it's replacement 🌱 So I carefully transplanted the Green Gelato into the new pot, now I have 7 plants ❤️ 4.1. - Just wow. First week of the veg went really well, plants gained on height, got thicker and developed first true leaves, so I'm starting with nutrients from next week 😎 29.12. - 4.1.2024

not much happened this week. there was a lot of sunshine. a few stormy days and some rain. she is still doing well and is growing steadily and the flowers are starting to show more. she is now also getting biobizz bio-bloom

She is just about done for a haze!!! All her pistils are now brown and her trichomes are going milky, but no amber yet. She will be harvested in the next 24h.
