High GD community, Week 9, Sweet Thai looking allready better then ĺast week. The topping start to grow gently and a full 13cm in height gained this week. Since 3 days(friday), the lightcycle changed into 13/11. Nonetheless spidermites are spotted on this lady, she doesnt back down. After a treathment with orio bugs, who i actually misordered because I didnt had my new microscope yet, trips are definitly gone, and orios do eat/attack spidermites, its not their favorite. So a second army of bugs, this time phyto mytes, its gonna be all about attack and digesting spidermites, Who didnt yet get crowdy so far. But after a check up of some leafs with the new microscope, i can see a lot of eggs and pretty active young spidermites. So the phytos will not come to early. Phytos do eat eggs as orios dont, so thats a big difference. Starting week 7 of Flower finds me planning the next 6, including scheduling a Flush and Tapering the Nutrients off in the next month. - ReStaked a few branches for even spacing & At the End of last week I top-dressed both pots with fresh Soil n Sand. -fresh material at play and the plants are using a lot of water. -able to feel when the big pots are drier and ready for water, by lifting one-end regularly. Just to gauge weight... it’s working. This grow has me trying to establish a much bigger root-ball; re 15 gal pots / 16 litre feeds ... I’ve laughed at some of the previous ones. Feb 2nd, Buds are touching, conditions are being changed slowly mid-flower & hoping they get real chubby in the coming weeks. With the constant reminders that quality grows take longer to mature in Flower than the literature usually states; my plan is to Flush sometime during week 10 (month end) - Three weeks to make it count. Trichomes to dictate Feb 4, - getting my head around htf I’m going to flush this pair in 3+ weeks. Low ceiling+tall sink+tall plant. Feb6 - slight reduction in Calimag and the next feed will see rapidstart reduced as well. Small moves but in the right direction. - tonight is a scheduled feed. Volumes have been big over the last 3 weeks and I am deciding to give the plants an extra couple days without Water, to make sure it is on the dry side as we enter the 2nd half of flower. Feb 7th - the UV-B light just might be having an impact on the buds of the R plant. There are a number of buds that are becoming obviously covered in Resin Glands. - used a moisture meter, the bottom of both pots is a bit wet. Patience wins... This is the plant that physically is still ~ 10 days behind the L plant. just an observation... As this week wraps-up, my plans for next week are to reduce the light cycle by 30 min to 11.5 hrs lite per day. And to drop the humidity another 2%. But that’s for next week. All is going strong at this point, Buds are filling out, smell at the door of the tent is obvious; earthy & dank. Up close from touching a bud it explodes of a Citrus smell. That’s the best description so far Feb 9th, almost a week since last water/nutes, tonight is a green light. Actually felt the pot lighter. Moisture Meter agreed. 17L later ... - balanced the branches / supports and found a good fit between the two pots under the one light. -adding more fresh air to the tent also helped drop the RH a bit. Ready for this transition. - A dry week in reality, cannot wait to see the changes next week after this last, big Max nutrient feed. ** bottom leaves had just began to droop as I watering the plant. Did manage to take it close to the edge mid-way through flower, now it’s Hungry at a critical time. Come on week 8

Day 67, new grower mistake: been flushing for roughly 3 weeks+, backed of the nutrients when the light burn started weeks ago because of fear of stunting the plant, noticed the fall colors starting 2 weeks and figured I would be close enough to harvest but unfortunately I was wrong. This LSD just wants to keep growing; still throwing out new white hairs with almost 60/40 orange to white hair ratio, and mostly cloudy trichomes but not too many Amber. In a perfect world I'd let it go another 1-2 weeks, but going into the 4th week of flushing, the dead leaves are getting too close to the main colas for my liking, I decided to do a partial harvest of the main top colas, and lower my lights a few inches to hopefully beef up the smaller buds that have been further from the light and are further behind then the main colas . I now know the importance of checking trichomes before starting flush and understanding the need for nutrients all the way through flower.

Giving her ph adjusted tap water to flush her out well for the chop in 7 days. 🌊✂️ First time growing a sativa dominant strain & I was expecting it to grow taller than the other hybrids in the same enviroment but it didnt. Not sure why my buds are airy & foxtailing a bit. Maybe heat stress or maybe just the genetics. 🤷‍♂️🏽Nothing else in the room showed nug structures like this so it kinda makes me suspect the bud structures to be due to genetics. 🤔

Finally it's flowering time! I've switched to 12/12. Gigi is starting to stretch, 7cm in a week, not bad. Day 57: Added Alga Bloom, Terpinator and a bit of powder kelp to the feeding solution. Day 59: Turned on the dehumidifier. I want more high temps and less humidity. Rh% is now 50/55. I'm lowering the ph of my nutrients solution to 6.1 Day 63: I see lot of buds points, very good 👍 if this genetic grows rock hard flowers like a real GG4, I think this plant will be amazing! I've rotated the plant position 180° and added a reflective mat under the vase. Next week I'll defoliate very well Gigi. It's time to see some beautiful buds.

Happy New Year guys! Unfortunately, the heat has arrived completely for January and I guess that both the plant and I are gonna suffer this. Pistils are getting brown and curly, and I see extensive trichome production on certain buds but not all of them. Also I see the buds in general keep on fox-tailing. Day 4 Week 16 ( 03-01-2019) she looks good, surviving the hell temperatures in there but enduring. Fertigation is about 600 ppm inflow, run-off 700 pom, I', giving her 0.55 g/L Bloom fertilizer. I see buds are getting thicker. The tent is a jungle. My God, I've never had such a mess., and never grew a sativa like this. I've had a specimen of Nirvana Sky "superauto"; indeed she was a real monster, but even she was autoflowering, I remember topping her early because I was fearing the big size. But this one is "uitstekend"! Last pics of the week (this plant's weeks start on Tuesdays). I returned home after a short leave and found her the same as I had left her.

Sie wird aber nur eingesetzt bis es warm genug draußen bleibt. Tagsüber stehen sie jetzt schon draußen, sofern es nicht regnet oder stürmt. The way I "solved" my problem was a huge mistake, creating bigger problems. Gravel I put on top of soil kept moisture inside the pots, so I manage to over water my plants. NEVER PUT GRAVEL ON TOP OF YOUR SOIL! 🤦‍♂️ NEVER 😂 Big shoutout to guys who answered my question in week 3! Thanks for your help and support! So I remove all gravel and let all pots to dry completly before next watering. They bounced back very fast. Also I did LST training on them and manage to break up that one girl which had biggest over watering issues. Shit happens I guess... Btw its one of Amnesia strains. Had bend her main cola over again!! She was growing into the light. She just keeps spreading out too! Wish I had a bigger tent for her. The buds are starting to fatten a bit. I defoliated her again. Trying to get some better light penetration and air flow.
