What a beautiful strain! This pheno came to me from a 3 pack and has got some strong OG Kush resemblence: long and weak branches, light green leaves in flower, thick buds with little leaves and a strong smell of lemon, earth and cleaner. Skunky flavours from critical mass are not noticable. Very nice palette indeed. A pretty straight forward grow: I already knew the cultivar and was able to give her just about what she needed at each point of the grow. The end result is a plentiful harverst of very aesthetically and psychoactively pleasing cannabis buds.

Still no sign of flowering. Transplanted Novarine plant 2 into a 50-liters container. The spot is under a big shorea plant. Shorea is a South East Asian medicinal tree. This is minimum light spot in my yard. Hope she would flower. I choose plant 2 because I think plant 1 will stretch even further. Plant 1 was also moved to a shaded spot under an tree jasmin. This Millingtonia, Indian cork tree. I have sweet flowers all year round. People told me that dried tree jasmine flower mixed well with weed and is good for people with ashma and sinus. Kind of useless since why would asthmatic people even smoke? Plant 3 is my back up until I come up with a way to put her into flowers. Clone are doing nicely. And I am growing 3 clones from plant 1 and only one clone from plant 2. I’ll be donating the rest to friends with weight and blood sugar issues. By year end, I probable keep only one or two clones. One clone from bigger branch is growing just fine without any benefit form lighted grow box. Feeding plants with mid-level dose of cow manure tea and earth worm casting tea to keep leaves healthy. They should have been given a light dose of fertilizer. However, the flowering purslane are also eating and feeding soil microbes. Got my paws on triancontanol and brassinolide. Perhaps these will jolt Novarine THCV into flowering. Triacontanol won't dissolve in neither water nor alcohol. And it is emulsified with polysobate. Mixing of Triacontanol Triacontanol does not dissolve in polysorbate. It is rather emulsified. Means that it need to be melt and there need to be water added. My steps, 1) heated 70 grams of polysorbate in a big heat resistance glass cup. I used a beaker. Mix in 5 grams of triacontanol. And it does not melt. 2) Put in 100 cc of water and put in microwave. After the mix is boiled, triacontanol melt. There is foam. So a bigger cup and a spillage plate would prevent problem with my better half. 3) After heated, the mix is better. Then I added hot water from to make total 250 CC of solution. Then, the mix is clear. 4) Label the dose with pencil. This works better than labeling with ink. I use 5 cc at a time for my entire garden. 250 CC would last me 50 doses. No need to buy so much. This is cheap. Let’s see next week how effective they are.

Just did some pruning of the lower level leaves that were yellowing or about to fall off. Found one of those pesky army worms 🐛 on one of the ladies growing in a 1 gallon pot, wasted no time putting an end to his career as a cannabis connoisseur ☠️ ⚰️. Other than that everything's as normal as can be I guess.

Started off great but had a little slowdown after topping. Didn’t stretch as much as expected and stayed a pretty stout plant. Responded well to top dressings every 3 weeks

Week 5! Blue Dream is looking nice, bud sites are developing nicely and the plant looks healthy. No complaints with how she did over the last week, she's not as hungry as the GG4.

Nothing much to report. Its growing nicely. Tricombs are already showing...and loads of them! Tomorrow is watering day, going to up the feed a little but use fizzy water instead of plane. I only take leaves away that are blocking bud sites... only 2/3 per 7-8 days.

Start of week 9 Runtz Muffin got the cut this morning. Put the whole plant to hang dry, i just removed some of the bigger leaves, since plant grew really compact. Drying now for the first 3 days at 56% and 17C, after that 60% and 16C, for at least 8 days. Overall i was really pleased with this strain, Barneys did a great job and you can see their genetics are strong. I will give a weight, taste and smoke update/review once they dry up and got the trim. 10/10 recommended strain!

Beautiful transition into flower, will strip and lollipop next week. And start the heavy PK feeding also. Done nothing all week, apart from watering.

In week 8 iv come to the sad realization that nearly all of the plants are at different stages of development. Dispite all the seeds being germinated at the same time. So iv had to take them off the wilma systems and am feeding them manually and there all on different diets. Which is an absolute headache especially as there is 16 plants to tend too. I think iv bit off abit more than I can chew for my first grow I maybe should have started with a couple of plants. I think the large wilma setups are designed for clones really so you know they are all going to progress and eat the same amount at once. It's not for autos . There all looking healthy though:)

Day 28 - well it's the beginning of week 5 and I have now got the nutes finally tuned for my girls, all of them are looking gorgeous, nice green and healthy ✊ showing some great growth this week and the new growth just keeps on coming, I think another 2-3 weeks vegging and then its time to make the switch and see the stretch 😎 laughing buddhas are doing so well, considering a few were running slow at the start but they always catch up! Zkittlez OG auto at the top right is coming along nicely, currently week 4 of vegging for that girl, cookies kush at the top left is also doing well, showed some yellow leafing but managed to recover nicely. Also the HPS coverage is perfect for this tent, was using LED before which yes if far cheaper to run but I can already picture great results for these 😍 fingers crossed! Day 31 - I'm going with a sea of green and scrog method but without topping, I want these girls to grow out naturally but I can now organise the bud sites thanks to the scrog net, I will be putting the net in in week 7 if all goes well. Changed water amount to 1.25 litres, saw some nute burn so going a little easier on the nutes, will feed just Ph'd water in next feed in 2 days time. Thanks for tuning in! 😎 Day 32 - lower d the HP's light to about 60cm above to help with growth, lowered scrog net as well. Bud sites are starting to show, will organise them when ready. Switching to 12/12 on week 8. Found silver tails in Coco, must be watering too often, will let Coco dry out - not showing any damage to the plants as of yet. Hopefully drying out Coco will get rid of them.

I am loving how strong this sativa strain is. I keep defoliating her to expose as many bud sites as possible. At the same time, I am trimming those side branches with low chances of making it to the top. 🌱🌱👍🏻👍🏻

🌌 Folder #2 — Cosmic Noodles Week 3 Update — Technique, Response, Momentum First of all — thank you to everyone following this diary. This space exists to document real-time learning, real decisions, and real plant responses — and this week gave us a lot of material. Cosmic Noodles continues to impress. ⸻ 🌱 Plant B — 2 Weeks Veg → Guided Expansion still an autoflower This plant is moving fast, confidently, and with intention. Her growth this week was so strong that I made the decision to begin structured low-stress training, not to restrict her, but to open her up. 🔧 Training Method (Accurately Explained) This was a progressive process, not a single action: 1️⃣ Leaf Tucking (Start of the Week) • Larger fan leaves gently tucked under • Objective: • expose inner growth • encourage branch development • allow light to reach lower nodes This alone already triggered visible response. ⸻ 2️⃣ Directional Bending (Mid-Week) As growth accelerated, I moved from leaf work to branch positioning. • Branches were gently pulled outward • Secured using soft, green-coated wire • Wire anchored directly into the soil and pot edge • No rigid clips, no plastic clamps The wire is: • flexible • forgiving • adjustable allowing the plant to move while still being guided. ⸻ 3️⃣ Anchoring & Holding Space (End of Week) As branches continued to push hard, I introduced U-shaped wire anchors, pinched into the soil. Important clarification: • These are wired anchors, not plastic clamps • They hold branches down toward the soil • Purpose: keep the canopy open and horizontal • Result: light penetration everywhere This is not about forcing shape — it’s about creating room for expression. ⸻ 🌿 Plant Response Her reaction has been nothing short of outstanding. • Branches: Already pushing into the 6th–7th branch • Stress response: None observed • Vigor: Extremely high • Growth speed: Fast, confident, continuous She didn’t slow down. She leaned into it. This plant is healthy, driven, and clearly enjoying the guidance. Next week is going to be something special. ⸻ 🌱 Plant A — 12/12 From Seed (Autoflower) Running alongside her is Plant A, grown 12/12 from seed, and she continues to behave beautifully. • Leaf stage: • Third pair fully developed • Fourth pair coming in • Structure: Compact, balanced, composed • Behavior: Calm, steady, almost photoperiod-like Once again, it raises the question: Are these autoflowers acting like photoperiods? Or are photoperiods acting like autos? No answers yet — just fascination and respect. ⸻ 💡 Light Intensity & PPFD Response This week, PPFD was increased, continuing the controlled progression already established in the room. Key observations: • Autoflowers are responding exceptionally well • Leaf posture remains strong • Color remains healthy • No stress indicators present This reinforces that progressive PPFD increases, when done patiently, can be extremely effective — even with autoflowers. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect (and What Not To) Expect: • Rapid structural development on Plant B • Even canopy formation as wire training settles • Continued confident growth across both timelines Do NOT expect: • Forced conclusions • Rushed flowering assumptions • Heavy-handed intervention We observe. We assist. We let the plant lead. ⸻ 🙏 Closing This week was a reminder of why technique matters — and why precision in documentation matters just as much. Thank you to everyone following along. More to come — and next week, keep your eyes on Plant B. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.
