At the end of flushing and fade, I just cut down crystal candy xl auto for drying. Thanks again sweet seeds. This is a amazing smelling cannabis plant. It Looks like nice dense buds and a decent yield with a nice amount of trichromes. Will be back once dried for sign out and amounts in a week or two. Hi Growmies, This grow was not about growing the biggest plant but a test on how Natural sunlight compares to artificial light. I can be clear on one thing: natural sunlight gives a better terp/trichomes development, at least within my setting. This is probably due to natural UV rays within sunlight which is harder to get in a tent. Also the cost of this grow was so cheap, that if I would sell 3 grams I would have my whole investment in this grow back. So cost wise an outside grow will always beat an inside grow, especially with the current energy rates where I live. So after the drying process we will do a quick taste test before jarring it up to cure. That will also be the time I weight my buds, wet weight is not important to me. It's drinking a lot of water, obviously because of its huge size, smaller doses of nutrients to go little by little, the shape of the tall buds, they're much more resinous with this update, I'm hoping for more time with this one due to its size and little light.

Week 8 Last couple of days to go, she's been getting only water for a few days now and I also pulled the lamp up a bit. She's starting to tilt under the weight of the buds so I tied a couple to make sure they don't snap/bend. Looking and smelling amazing, super sticky tho it doesn't too look . I'll be taking a closer look at the trichomes over the next few days. Can't wait😁

This grow will be a very humbling experience being this is my first full grow from seedling to harvest and figured I would bring others along for this journey with me, hopefully some of you viewers may even have insight to any future problems I should have or run into. Start of week 2 There growing like clock work taking the first nutrients like a champ and now we have improved there invoirment they going to take off. Finally have put up the new setup from spider farmer together and I am very pleased with a modern version more control and can watch from distance what's going on . Flush next week

Had a couple of the stems which were almost drooping on the ground due to the weight of the buds, so decided to harvest those two branches today. Also, this week I did a bit more research on when to harvest. I had been waiting for the trichomes to begin to turn amber, but after reading this article: https://www.growweedeasy.com/harvest, I decided to harvest when the trichomes were cloudy. Experts say that the amber trichomes give a more relaxing effect, but I was growing this plant for daytime use. Looked at it under my digital microscope and decided to pull the trigger on the whole plant. Plus, the neighbors were starting to notice the smell. Final height - 104" - 8 1/2 feet - 2.64 meters. Not good. Was concerned that someone would hop the fence and pilfer my plant. Harvested her at 35 weeks - 281 days. Grow diaries really needs to expand the weeks available for us outdoor growers. Started her indoors in Feb. Transplanted outside on April 7th.

One more week to go! This has defiantly been a fun grow for sure and I think if I run a single plant like this again I will have a 10-15g pot. I also will fill my scrog net and give it a week of two and flip to grow a taller canopy. This week the trichomes are really starting to turn. Bud is VERY dense and packed full of crystals. Smell is crazy strong. I’m picking up citrus and fruit loops without a doubt so I wonder how it’s going to smell after dry/cure. Buds are pretty nice sized as you can see from the comparison of the lighter. The thing is I’ll have over 150 of them tops I believe… haha Nothing has changed this week. I have started to remove any old fan leaf that has been spent. My plan is to slowly remove as many as I can that are pretty much spent by the time I harvest so I do not have to spend much time on that when I cut her down. I have started only water feeding with about 3 gallons of water each feed to leach out any build up. Will do this daily. Hopefully next weeks update will be a lot of harvest shots.

Hello guys I’m sorry that I missed one week, the last week when she turned pink! Day 101 - harvest day, I had to wet trim my plant because i have problems with the humidity, it’s 98% rh outside and raining like hell. I haven’t invested in a dehumidifier yet didn’t think I had to use one🤦‍♂️🏽 Day 103 - day 3 drying Day 104: today I hade to cut the buds from the branches because my rh is to high hahaha! 😃 Day 105: I put my buds to jars today. I had a total of 124g trimmed buds! Day 106: had to put my buds outside the jars for 12hr for now to start with, had them over night and rh was 70% in the jars… having them now for drying again in 55%-60% rh
