Great week this week, inside the tent and out. Carl 2 is doing great, and has mostly acclimatized to the winds and heat of the outdoors. UKBS 2 is seemingly recovering (knock on wood) from whatever was degenerating it's stem. It must have been mold or something similar as about 1/3 of the stem became dead wood and had to be removed carefully. I've been trawling the internet and all sources of horticultural forums I possibly can, and yielded somewhat inconclusive results. Everything from ants, to mold, to stem borers. None of which seemed to have been the case here. In any case, I took a whole ton of cuttings from UKBS 2 and am attempting to root them. Great genetics, and not to sound like a broken record but I'd hate to lose such a vigorous pheno. =-= Inside the tent, things are also going quite well. UKBS 1 is getting quite chunky, seems to be an interesting pheno. As for Carl 1, oh boy. I came to find out that this strain is a real interesting one. According to the breeder, it's a cross of C99 grapefruit x "D" Haze; pheno hunted and backcrossed in the 90s and stabilized over nearly 30 years. Loooooooong flowering times. In other news, the timelapse is out as well. Updates as usual. -6/3/2021 - Busted out the Rebel T5 and took some real nice budshots. Carl 1 is quite frosty, UKBS 1 is quite chunky. Also got a cool upskirt shot. -6/8/2021 - First orange pistils showing for Carl 1, looking real good. The clones of UKBS 2 are all doing well apart from one of them.

Week 3 begins for LSD and Green Crack. Both ladies are looking good, but had some small signs of deficiency. Added big bud coco and upped feeding another liter (split feed day 1 & day 5 of each week), hopefully this will help resolve the deficiencies. Thanks for stopping by growfessors 👽🌳💚

In the beggining of week 4 of flower the phenos are showing differences. Nanaz x BBC are way toller that the Headbands. Also, Nanaz x BBC #2 has no pistils but it is a female plant. I have that happened before when I grew the Banana Butter Cups S1

I dumped the water and added new today with nutrients. Two plants are looking really healthy. I'll focus on these now and let the others slowly grow on the side. The one I transplanted late is dead. Will update more as it develops. UPDATE: Largest plant is drooping a lot. I'm assuming the auto-waterer over-watered again. Avoid this flower pot. I emptied the water and am letting it dry out a bit before watering again. UPDATE: The auto-waterer soaked the large plant. I've poked holes in the medium and lowered the light to just above the plants to hopefully help dry it out quickly. Also have a fan on it. UPDATE: The plant dried out enough that it's looking healthy again. Yay!

Agora sim o período de luz está em 12/12. Liguei o adicional de luz que alcança mais no espectro, o tom de vermelho, comecei entrar com ácido húmico, e uma proporção de NPK para suprir as necessidades da floração (BioBloom e TopMax). Com a mudança da luz, previsivelmente a planta começou a crescer bastante em altura, porém ainda não apresentou sinais de pré flora, o que é normal. Com certeza na próxima atualização veremos alguns pistilos.

Wish the buds would have got a little bigger but feel like that’s particularly my fault for a short Veg but overall I am blow away by the outcome for all the seeds to just be random bag seeds! 2 of the plants are drying now 3rd one will be cut tomorrow & the other 2 got probably 2 more weeks! Will do a taste & smoke report and also give a weight as soon as they dry & cure a little bit but honestly couldn’t be happier with my first grow! Extremely happy with the out come this is honestly some of the best bud I have ever smoked! Amazing to me this came from a random bag seed, it has a very citrusy flavor, smells & smokes amazing! Honestly a 10/10 in my book, wish I could knew what strain this was so I could grow it again!😫❄️✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 3 Dry weight 34g, smells & look phenomenal, the buds are much smaller & had the smallest yield so far but this is by far the best smelling so far! Week 6 and things are really taking off. They are beginning to fatten up. Been using Overdrive for about 10 days now and buds are ROCK hard. Very impressed with this combo I have going right now. The Venom OG just continues to blow me away. The buds are really begging to fill out now and the leaves are just started to turn a dark color. Grand Daddy Purps have recovered nicely and are showing some incredible colors. Buds may be a little smaller in size than the other two but with at least 12 tops each and rock solid buds, I am not sweating it. Can't say how impressed I am with Dark Heart Nursery. These are really quality plants! At this point I am watering every day until the end.

This week we should really see these colas blow up and start stacking really strong. The mixer of 7 hours of sun and 17 hours under my LEDs has really helped my girls grow strong. Nothing compares to good old Mother Nature.

What began as two seeds—two phenos with two destinies—has become a garden symphony of light, resin, and patience. Genetic Journey — From Seed to Harvest Pheno #1: Started in veg before flipping; taller, more expressive stretch; structured and vigorous. Pheno #2: Ran 12/12 from seed—shorter cycle, smaller frame, but incredibly dense. Different paths, same destination. Despite the variation, both finished side by side, their trichomes shimmering like frost under the lens. From the very first true leaves to the last amber sparkle, this grow embodied the full spectrum of plant life. Both phenos shared that unmistakable Mango Kush sweetness—fruit-forward, creamy, with earthy Kush undertones that deepen as they cure. 🔬 Trichomes — The Living Resin We harvested with trichomes at about 75 % cloudy, a few ambers scattered, and a few clears clinging on. Why this timing? Cloudy trichomes → peak THC, most psychoactive potency. Amber trichomes → oxidized cannabinoids, deeper body stone, slightly less heady. Clear trichomes → undeveloped, lighter high, harsher burn. By cutting at ~75 % cloudy, we captured the perfect balance between energy and depth—a clean, full-spectrum effect with robust THC, trace CBD, and terpenes locked in their prime. Inside each trichome lives a micro-world of medicine: Cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBG)—psychoactive and therapeutic agents. Terpenes (myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene)—aroma, flavor, entourage synergy. 8th week of Flowering is over. Buds almost doubled in size except Lemon Orange. Smell is pretty heavy and frosting continues. Mimosa Evo and Runtz can not carry their buds anymore. I had to tie them up. Trichomes almost fully milky for all ladies but waiting another week to get 20% Amber. Target VPD is still set to 1,5 with 23 Celcius Target Temp. Hello all and welcome back. We had a GOOD week. We are in flower and I couldn't be happier. This week was like most, just water when the pot is light. So here is the rundown. Day 30 - This day I rotated 1/4 turn to avoid hot spots with my light. I also added a humidifier to the tent. I purchased a large dehumidifier for my house as the sunshine coast is in full WET season. This brought my tent down to low 40's RH. Humidifier was set up to a timer, 30 on 30 off. This kept me pretty steady between 55 and 60%RH. And she loved it. Just blew up. Day 31 - nothing to do here but monitor the environment. All is well on this day. Day 32 - on this day we water 💧 🙂. I'm doing a combination on top watering and bottom watering. I top dressed last week so I top water to flush the amendments down and bottom water to ensure no dry spot in Coco. It's working very well. Day 33 - this day is a monitor day. Environment is holding steady at 26 and mid 50s RH Day 34 - this day we watch again. Everything holding steady. In the evening before bed I checked in and noticed on a few leaves I have "rust spots." Only about 4 leaves but still, I was concerned. I removed the humidifier to lower the RH. Day 35 - Continuing my only drama this week. In the morning, I watered, readjusted my LST ties and did some defoliation to the lower skirt any blocking prime bud sites that I can't tuck. I watered again this time with water ph set to 6.2. The rust looks like calcium or magnesium. Since I have Oyster Shell Flower (Calcium) in my mix and just top dressed a week ago, I thought it's more likely my mediums Ph swung a little high as my last watering was ph at 6.8 and I think my pen of off now. So I'm thinking small lockout. Watered with Epsom salts for Magnesium to be safe. Day 36 - Today no new rust spots and the ones there are same size. I'll find out in a few days if I caught the spread in time. So all seems well. Happy grow to all, and to all a good harvest!!

The plants are really starting to frost up, definitely starting to smell. I’ve got my carbon filter running to keep the house from wreaking.

finally they are in flower! Yay final foliar spray applied. They are still smelling like chocolate and peanut butter. Did not get 1 drop of rain this week. It is getting so frustrating plants are 1/4 what they should be this year.

I think that this is as good as they're gonna get. Gonna pull them both down and start a fresh one trying to keep it cooler cos mid 30s everyday is not good. Learned a lot this time, hopefully much better next time! Also took the top off the stardawg last weekend, should almost be smokable now!!
