Aug 9: defoliated again to remove lower branches and shaded fan leaves that can prevent air circulation. She is doing great with the buds thickening fast. Starting to get smelly too. Got the UV lights out today. This helps Edmonton in August or September be more like California in June or July. Maybe not that effective but that’s the idea. Second year using the UV lights and worked great last year. Aug 10: UV lights going again today.

Tons of fresh small growth is sprouting on the top canopy. Like a whole bush worth is starting fresh! It's going to be big by 10 weeks.

Anche questa Ayahuasca purple sta venendo su bene... La piccola talea che ho messo in terra a fianco alla pianta,ha attaccato al primo colpo senza fare nulla di speciale. All looking good with the banner. The frost is coming and the smell is developing. She has stacked well and I think she might give the largest colas of the smaller plants. Hoping this makes up for the fact that she hardly stretched. The small plants are being raised so I can keep them close to the light. The amnesia is trying to bully them all. Been defoliating continuously with this lady. Hoping that can stop now and I can just watch her ripen up!

Flower mode in full flex this little lady she’s starting to put out some nice sugar and is taking really well to the feedings hopefully there will more beautiful growth over the next couple of days enjoy guys!

She's steadied out on the stretch for now She has taken her own weight throughout, a nice feed of silicon gave her the boost she needed.

As of day 28, the NYC Diesel is growing vigorously and seems healthy. The post LST branching I was hoping for a week ago has occured so I am happy with the width and evenness of the canopy as well. I am regularly removing and tucking foliage which is helping with how dense this plant is (lots of branching with minimal internodal spacing). I feel like it is on the cusp of flowering, so I am preparing to change up the nutrients over the next week. I will continue with the LST if there continues to be quite a bit of stretch. Day 29: Switched to GH Flora for nutrients. Starting low and will dial it up. Thanks for reading!

3/11 to 3/17 Veg Days 22 to 28 Week 3 Transferred to Auto pot base and continue to top feed for another week before setting up and turning it on. Began node strength training by simply pressing down on the branches to encourage water way repairs into the branches since these are the main arms of my mainlines. They more than doubled in size in just 4 days. Feed this week was 3 cups of 6.3ph RO water once using 100ppm of Veg Mix (recipe Week 2) However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0). Then about 4 days later when I transferred to the auto pot, I added .5gal of plain RO water to top feed over the new soil. Feed plan next week will be to start using the reservoir and autopot base feed by the end of the week. I expect to use another .5 top feed prior to that tho.

Holy Lst. Getting crazy now for just a few weeks from seed. No stopping it now.
