Had another nice week. The fastbuds have started to flower already!! One is real squatty and the other one is look real nice. The deep Purple is taking off. Been pinning it down to train the big one and is looking awesome. This strain really loves the super soil. Having a blast so far 👍

Week 6 2/9-15 Pink Rozay Auto in flower. On Thursday, 2/13 I did a major defoliation on Pink Rozay. I removed all large fan leaves and any leaves shading bud sites. Initially, I thought this would be my last defoliation, however I have since heard that, 10 they continue to grow new leaves until day 20 of flower and 2 there must be enough foliage on the plant to photosynthesize energy. Well, I hope I left enough leaves for energy to keep bulking up the buds. She is still stretching and now 18 inches. This should have been an indication Not to defoliate severely. Oh darn I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line. The controller is set to flower now. 2/9 & 11 4 gal fed 2 liter each nutrients added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and a Dill in the back. Day 49 Flower Hey Growers. I did a flush last week to get my runoff closer to 1050. I’m not sure why this happens that I get tip burn doing FFW. Maybe I start ramping up flower nutes too much too quickly. I have tip burn on my Blue Dream too. I’ve gotta come up with a solution as it buggers everything up. Flushing and Dealing with tip burn instead of packing on size. This is a 10 wk strain so I’m not as concerned cuz there’s lots of time and I think I got ahead of it. The nugs are smaller, marble to golf ball sized but hard as a rock already. The smell is of over ripe lemon when it get that sweet and Hazey earthy woody characteristic. I’m going to feed 2 more weeks and try the Advanced Nutrient Overdrive that I have kicking around. Then flush heavy for 1 ish weeks and hopefully get a nice fade. The Vipar spectra XS2000 is doing a great job, it has me wondering if I could use it to flower a 4x4 of autos. Its super strong. My poor man’s light mover has the plants getting a ton of light every other day with a nice rest in between. There is no light burn or yellowing, a tiny bit of leaf edge curl that goes away during its rest day. I am very happy with this light and know it’ll blow up whatever I run in here next. 👉 This year, RQS launched 5 new regular strains. The seeds are packed with10 pieces. 38 seeds out of 50 turned out beautiful (see my previous diaries). 👉 Before I put the plants into bloom, I took 2 cuttings from each plant. As soon as I knew which were the female plants, I deleted the male plants and the corresponding clones. 👉 Now I am going to raise the cuttings and flower the female plants in 5 new diaries. This diary is about the Mango Crunches #1, #2, #3, #6, #7.

Plants are fattening up now. I think they have been a bit light stressed. Lowered ppfd 30.10.23 Raised Lights to 60cm. Looked like some was getting light stress Ppfd 650-600 Dli 46-43 2.11.23 Turned both lights to 3/4 power and lowered them to bring temp down a little bit. 465w 40cm Ppfd 630-400 at back dli 45-29 300w 42cm ppfd 730-430 Dli 52-31 4.11.23 10ml pk 5-8 in each plant with bactrex and recharge Ph6.3 Lights 3/4 power 45-50cm. She's doing well. Another week started in low humidity. The meter is on wet soil hence the high number which is inaccurate. Mostly 45-50%. Topped her on day 10 which turned out to be a FIM.

So the plant did well in the 9L airpots, and had a really good root structure. Out of this grow she was one of the largest out of the 4 plants. She didn't quite pull out the colours that this strain usually manages, but that's probably due to me not being able to lower the temperature. The harvest was quite an easy one and I didn't really get any fluffy buds as I had trimmed the lower part of the plant early on in the grow.

Welcome to week two. Day 8 05/10 So far the two plants in Down to Earth seem to be doing better. Hopefully this week goes better. Day 10 05/12 all for plants growing one of them very weak but will let it go till it gives on its own. Feeding all four plants a cup a day of water for two and the other two get FoopCanna everyday following schedule. Other than that Down To Earth seems to be kicking butt. Day 14 05/16 so we come to the end of the week and again Down To Earth seems to be kicking ass. Both plants in DTE are twice as tall and busier.

Hi Growmies, So let me introduce you this 4 little gorilla gals who survived the first week of their life in the wild. As I mentioned last week, we needed 4 healthy individual to populate the future forest and it’s succeeded. The one who struggled is also starting to catch up to her sisters.🌱 They got a bit lanky as I was way too careful with the light. One needed help because she fell on the pot. So slowly raised the light intensity first to 220 ppfd and at the end of the week we finished at 350. They seem to like it so will leave it for a few days. The sf1000 is running on 55% at the moment.🌞 Watered twice this week. First with 150ml each and 3 days later with 220ml. No macronutrients have been given to them yet.💦 I’m happy how they look 14 days after the start of germination. See you next week!🙌

Hey everyone 🤗. This week was harvested properly 😍. All of them are harvested, except for the two Tropicanna Banana (they will be on tomorrow). All finished crop images follow little by little as soon as they have dried enough and have got their actual bud structure 😃. I wish you much fun with the diary, stay healthy Ges and let it grow 🌱

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.
