Good week buds are swelling and smelling.but it's getting cold and I noticed she is struggling to get ready for harvesting.my hope is the weather will get better.

End of week 8! Took the girls off their nutes and starting the flush. Lowered the light intensity for 2 reasons. 1. It’s hot as balls and 90+ with no Silca could be an issue. They actually seem to be much happier already with only being a few degrees lower. 2. I want to see if less intense light/heat could replicate the end of the season sun if they were growing au natural 🤷‍♂️🏻

Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! I’ve raised the PPFD to 750 for this stage, with temps steady at 25°C and RH at 63%—keeping the VPD dialed in at 1.11. Really surprised with how everyone turned out! Everyone is starting to flower but Kayla definitely got the lead in terms of pistils and bud sites. These ladies still need to be LST every other day. Looking forward to an early harvest!

3/18/25 beautiful plant i need to take clones so i dont lose these genetics 3/22/25 i have taken clones 🤙 this plant has super long and wispy type pistils. shes starting to look like shes going to produce nicely and im excited about that. This week we fed her with even amounts of bloom and grow. i am keeping the vpd around 1.4-1.6 kpa this is resulting in 79-82°F and 55-60%

Day 50. Tallest Kush chopped by breeders recommendations, but in my conditions like a week at least away. Had max 20% milky, most clear, plant suffered some deficiency and was faiding slowly, still. Instead of Christmas flowers - 5 colas surprised my friends, colours and crystals are amazing. She was watered last 4 rounds with water and i will compare taste and effect , but i think it's a loosing tactics - such early crop. Not more than 40 expected from what left ;))) 5 out of 17 colas was taken away. I will add a third of weight, for real feel in totals. Day 67. After 24 hours of darkness all girls are chopped. Will make review and update in a week or so.

Moved from 2 daily waters in week one to 1 watering per day. Jan 1, 2020/Day 11: Amended top soil with 8 tablespoons of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 3 tbsp of Gaia Green 2-8-4 slow release nutrients. Dec 31-Jan 2: Removed first true leaves and another leaf. Leaves had slight damage to them, after my dog had a couple of nibbles. Jan 3, 2020 at 10pm: Turned bloom light off. Jan 4, 2020 at 11:40pm: Turned bloom light on. Back to veg and bloom.
