I recently bought a scope that allows me to check the trichomes and I can see all milky ones, I also posted some videos of it, please guys let me know your thoughts... Beside this buds are hard like rocks and smell still pretty intense and I cannot wait to taste this short but bulky phenotype. I decided to give her few more days, so next week will be chopping her, this mostly cause I watered her last time on Day 61 and now I am basically just waiting for the soil to be dry. Die Blüten sind sehr klebrig und der Duft ist deutlich aber nicht besonders intensiv. In der letzten Woche habe ich einige männliche Blüten heraus geknipst und mir sind auch ein paar Samen aufgefallen. Das selbe Problem hatte auch meine Hindu Kush. An Tag 97 habe ich die Pflanze nach 48 Stunden Dunkelheit abgeschnitten und kopfüber aufgehängt.

She's really starting to take off now I've corrected the lights height and strength, you'll see in the next week that I'll start having some pH issues, I'm usually an outdoor grower. This is my first indoor grow so I don't have all the stuff you need yet, I should be getting a pH pen and PPM metre soon.

New update for week 12, concluding week 8 of flowering: Hi(gh) Folks! Thanks everyone for your input on my second grow question. I’m going for HighTV’s answer, the SOG with 9x4 main buds. Very nice to get everyone’s input on this, appreciate it! So another week done! They got their last nutrients Tuesday and on Thursday the 5 early ladies from Hempire got their first round of plain acidulated water. I flushed them a bit on Friday and Saturday to. Now they can dry out for a couple of days. I will flush them for the upcoming week and let them dry out before harvest next weekend. Im counting on them to swell up even further during this week. As for the rest of the 4 plants from Hempire, 4 from Royal Queen Seeds and 3 from Hy-Seeds, I will treat them as if this is another week 8, and they will get another dose of Flowering nutrients and PK. Then next week I will start to flush them also. I will have 2 full weeks to flush and let them dry out until my planned harvest on Saturday 5 January. I’m not even sure that will be early enough for the 4 RQS’s since they look like they have even more bud-growing to do, before they can start swelling! I will keep an eye on that. The 5 tall ladies, 2 from Hempire and 3 from Hy-Seeds show the nice thick Kushy buds i’m craving for, can’t wait to see the becoming nice and heavy! On the photos you see the slight diverence between the pheno’s, the left 2 plants grew the popcorn-buds on a stem, and the right ones have nice thick popcornbuds against the stem’s. The other to remaining Hempire plants also show these, apart from the early ladies offcourse. The early birds show a little stretching buds and nice purple colours. Overall this was a good second grow. The initial defoliation was key in getting the nice density I missed out on last time. These plants went through the bloom cycle using a reservoir (5 gallon bucket) and drip irrigation system exclusively. Once I got the correct timing done for the watering, this setup was really great; I was able to go about 1-2 weeks between water refills, so it was easy leave for a couple of short stints with no negative effects on the plants. The one major thing I'd like to work on for next time is the drying process. I'm not sure if I cut the branches too small, if the room was just too dry, or if I just let them go too long (I had to leave for 9 days, and they were drying the whole time). While the curing has helped them get a little moisture back, the actual drying left the buds pretty crispy.

Heute ist Tag 28 und den Pflanzen geht es prima. Die MAC#1 hat zur Mimosa etwas aufgeholt und die Tropicana Cookies geht voll aus dem Rohr. Sie scheint schon deutlich weiter in der Entwicklung zu sein und ich bin gespannt, ob sie groß oder schnell fertig wird. Vielleicht ja sogar beides 😅 -------------- An Tag 32 musste ich entlauben, da ich die Triebe nicht einmal mehr von Hand an den Blättern vorbei bekommen habe, ohne etwas zu beschädigen. Dieses mal habe ich mich dazu entschieden, einmal recht radikal zu entlauben, anstatt wie bisher jeden Tag ein bisschen. Ich möchte mir dadurch Zeit und Arbeit sparen und hoffe, dass sie das gut verkraften. Bei der Mimosa bin ich mir da nicht so sicher, da die unter ihrem Blätterpanzer ziemlich klein geblieben ist. Die Äste sind aber sehr dick, also wird sie vermutlich jetzt 2 Tage schmollen und dann nochmal loslegen, hoffe ich jedenfalls 😅
