I have submitted my Journa for the Diary of the Month Competition here is to hopeing for good resutls. 7/28/2023- Germination Day 0- Seed initiation Well lets get this new Grow started.. So My Dad Sent me a custom Landrace Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Black African Magic: Black African Magic, Alson known as BAM, is a Sativa pure land race strain, It's classified under the Cannabis Sative species and its genetics come from Africa-the Ituri Forest in the Dmocratic Repoublic of Congo. The Effects are said to be Very Psychedelic, used for Stress managment and for better sleep and rest. This is my frist Land Race so we, will see how this goes together.. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Everything looks like it is going good, she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth. TPS SILICA GOLD-.5mil/Gal Root Drip- 1mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-1mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-1mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-1Mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal 8/9/2023 - Germination Day 9 Everything is looking good new growth looks like it is praying and they are looking happy. Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making thier way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

Week2 Day 1- 08/19/2023 Weekly Maintenance- Non-Water change week Added .5mil/gal of TPS SILICA Gold = 39 gallons X .5 = 19.5mil = 20mil add She really does look great today. More roots are finding their way out of the basket and into the water, looks like where I topped her the side stems are growing out nicely. Humidity is still running just a little low, I am making sure I keep a close eye on the humidifiers and added more water as needed. Week2 Day 2- 08/20/2023 She is doing Amazing!! Her roots are in the water and she is starting to form a little ball, the leaves are doubling in size and spreading out. Overall happy with how this grow is going thus far. Lots of Prayers for it staying this way the entire grow. Week2 Day 3 - 08/21/2023 I am very happy with her growth she is absolutely exploding, the main leaves are almost as big as my palms now, and the root ball is starting to form very nicely. She overall looks really happy to me. Week2 Day 4 - 08/22/2023 WoW!! Checked on her today and she looks like she doubled in size she is doing amazing in the environment. I had did do some Topping today and that was about it. Week2 Day 5 - 08/23/2023 She is looking amazing to me. Really proud of her and her growth. Week2 Day 6 - 08/24/2023 Not much to report today, her growth is going great. I topped her in three spots. Looks nice and comfortable, Saturday Water Change Day. Tomorrow I will get all of her end of week measurements for height and all. Week2 Day 7 - 08/25/2023 Week 2 is officially in the bag, she is already at 8 inches. 4-6 weeks left depending on continued growth until we switch her to flower.. we will see how it goes but she is looking amazing and the root structure is looking great! Humidity is still a little low I added water to the Humidifiers and adjusted the input air flow down slightly. I also turned on the 4th fan to increase circulation in the tent.

Week 3 Day 1 8/26/2023 Water Change Day!! Added: 36 gallons of Water TPS SILICA GOLD-.5mil/Gal Root Drip- 1mil/Gal CALMag- .5mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-4.2mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-3.8mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-3.0Mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal She continues to look Amazing and to be doing an amazing job! Week 3 Day 2 8/27/2023 Topped her a little and took a little from the bottom. The PH was just a little high so I added 4mil PH down to get it to 5.86. Week 3 Day 3 8/28/2023 Topped her a little and just enjoyed her beauty. Week 3 Day 4 8/29/2023 Topped her a little, and started cleaning up the lower 1/3, I am starting with the fan leaves that are touching the clay and some of the lower, lower portion but leaving the stems for when I take clones. Week 3 Day 5 8/30/2023 The temp has been getting to 79-80 the last few days and I don't like it that high. I lowered the light to 29 inches and decreased intensity to reach the 350ppfd for the plants. By dropping the light it should also drop the temperature. I took a few bottom leaves as I start my clean up, leaving the lower stems for clone material for now. Week 3 Day 6 8/31/2023 Found out why the temp had been getting so high in my tent and my grow room, the controller for my other light for my other tent was malfunctioning and overheating. I guess this was the unknown contributing factor to the sudden increase in temp, how am I sure about this, because the light no work no more. I am working with Spider-Farmer Warranty since the light was under a year old, very sad day yesterday was to replace my SE 7000 on my breeding plant which was in week 9 of flower with a VS2000 I am thinking I am going to have to cut my losses. On a good note she looks Amazing full on Growth Spurt happening, I adjusted the PH up slightly to get it from 5.81, to 5.89. Tomorrow Measurements incoming. Week 3 Day 7 9/1/2023 She is looking beautiful this morning! I took off some lower leaves cleaning up the bottom 1/3 but I left some of the Stems because I know I am taking clones in a few weeks. She has grown 5 inches over this last week.

Week 4 Day 1 9/2/2023 Everything is looking on track, she is looking beautiful today. I took some lower leaves and cleaned her up by taking a few Tops. Week 4 Day 2 9/3/2023 Today I added an additional .25mil/gal of CalMag at the 36 gallons I filled the system to. My Red Rhino was showing some slight indications that the CalMag might need to be bumped up. I will watch the leaves closely. Week 4 Day 3 9/4/2023 Today I gave her a FIM Trim and Topped her as well as took 2 of her fan leaves covering some of the lower canopy I want them to get some more light they look like possible clone candidates, that I might want to take when I am ready for clones. Week 4 Day 4 9/5/2023 Today I Topped her in a few places, and I took a few lower leaves. Week 4 Day 5 9/6/2023 Today I did nothing to her.. I just looked at her and got some pictures. Week 4 Day 6 9/7/2023 Today I noticed a few lower leaves and stems that were bothering me, So I took the lower leaves and a few of the smaller inner stems that I wouldn't5 even want to take as clones. Week 4 Day 7 9/8/2023 Today I took a few lower leaves gave her a trim, and measured her.. She is 20 inches tall. She is looking beautiful.

Week 5 Day 1 9/9/2023 Water Change Day!! Added: 36 gallons of Water TPS SILICA GOLD-.5mil/Gal CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-4.2mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-4.0mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-3.8Mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal I had some issues today! My grow room AC unit went out and the room got up to 82 and water temp got up to 78. I put in fans and got the room cooled down to around 74 and put ice in the water and was able to get that down to 74. I put in a warranty request we will see I am now over the last two weeks down a main grow light and my Ac unit.. LOL!! That is a growers life. I took two tops and I took a few lower leaves, still leaving the rest of the bottoms for clones when I get the light and now room situated. Week 5 Day 2 9/10/2023 Getting things ready to take clones so I got my second system almost all the way setup today. I am still sanitizing the Air Stones and the last of the Hydroton from the last Grow. Week 5 Day 3 9/11/2023 Still working on getting my second system completely setup, sanitized and raised it up. The last couple of days with the Room AC out has been a bit difficult keeping things cool but I have been managing to keep the water around 73-74 by putting ice bottles in the Res. Received an email that the new AC unit shipped yesterday, so just a few more days of ice in the bucket as needed. Week 5 Day 4 9/12/2023 Took a lot of lower leaves in prep for cloning still leaving the lower and internal stems, thinking I might finish getting my cloning machine up today or tomorrow and start taking clones tomorrow, I was hoping to have my replacement light before I cut my clones. Spider-Farmer said that the department that handles warranty replacements is working on sending it to me. Week 5 Day 5 9/13/2023 Nothing much to do today I bumped the Ph up from 5.89 to 5.96 and just watched them grow! Week 5 Day 6 9/14/2023 Going on a mini Vacation, going to take advantage of the versatility of this system and the take a few days off and go on a trip. Week 5 Day 7 9/15/2023 On Vacation!!

Week 6 Day 1 9/16/2023 Still on Vacation! Week 6 Day 2 9/17/2023 Back from Vacation.. The PH was down to 5.57 and the water was almost to the ring on the 3inch pipe in the Res.. Which is Low.. So Next trip I take, I will add the additional water and Nutes to as close to the net pot as I feel comfortable with. Added: 10 gallons of Water CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-4.2mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-4.0mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-3.8Mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal I decided that I wanted to take clones tonight. I took 4 of each and I will cull 2 of each in a few weeks when they are ready, I am going to do a short breeding run with these, Reverse them and Flip them at about week 3 of Veg. I also gave them an extreme heavy defoliation tonight, and my New Portable AC unit showed up so I installed that. Week 6 Day 3 9/18/2023 letting her recover from the work we did together yesterday. Week 6 Day 4 9/19/2023 Took a few tops today as I start to stretch her out on her side of the tent. We have a few branches past our flip mark so we will Super Crop them down soon to ensure we get an even grow to the primary canopy before we Flip. Also want to give her sister a little more time to catch up. Week 6 Day 5 9/20/2023 Today I received my replacement parts for my Spider-Farmer light that had gone out. Replaced the parts and put the light back in the tent with the clones. Week 6 Day 6 9/21/2023 Today everything looked great!! Week 6 Day 7 9/22/2023 She is above the mark for flip. Tomorrow is Water change day, which means decision day.. I have to decide if I am going to Flip to flower and fill with Week 1 flower Nutes, or if I am going to let it go for another week and just start super cropping. Either way I will be super cropping soon but not sure if it will be through the first week of flower or just starting and growing through the first week of flower. The plant shall tell the tell tomorrow.

Week 1 Day 1 9/23/2023 I decided to go ahead and flip her to flower today, she had multiple stems past the net and high enough to super crop. Humidity was a little high so I added both Dehumidifiers to the tent and attached them to the InkBird. Added: 36 gallons of Water CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-5.2mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-4.3mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-5.2Mil/Gal TPS SIGNAL- 1mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal Flipped the lighting to Flower 0800-2000, I filled with Week 1 flower Nutes, and I Super Cropped some of the Tops down. Week 1 Day 2 9/24/2023 I cleaned my canopy today, by trying to look straight down and opening up as many Tops sites as I could see blocked by leaves directly above. This will be my life for the rest of Flower cleaning and clearing as well as ensuring no sucker buds. Week 1 Day 3 9/25/2023 Today was one of those days where you can just sit back and look and enjoy some of the work you have put in. Today I just let her be.. Week1 Day 4 9/26/2023 I took the fan leaves that were blocking those beautiful bud sites from light.. Such will be my life every time I enter the tent for the rest of the grow. The clones all have roots coming from the rapid rooter, I am feeling really good that by Sunday they will be ready for selection and planting. Week1 Day 5 9/27/2023 I did some extreme defoliation today I opened the tent and she was just sooo full. Week1 Day 6 9/28/2023 I took a little from the inside and a few smaller inner stems.. I hate to take stems until after week 3 of growth to give each a chance to shoot up and hit the canopy. Week1 Day 7 9/29/2023 Took a look from the underside to see how much light was penetrating the canopy and removed some leaves and stems that were blockers. Tomorrow will add 10 gallons and the Nutes.. that will be my last in between week fill before I start having to change weekly for the rest of the grow.

Will just let them rest and get a good dose of the Topped off Nutes. Added: 10 gallons of Water CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-5.2mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-4.3mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-5.2Mil/Gal TPS SIGNAL- 1mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal Week 2 Day 2 10/01/2023 Heavy Defoliation Day. She needed it. Had too much bunched up. Other than that the grow is goring great.. Week 2 Day 3 10/02/2023 After yesterday I let her rest today.. Week 2 Day 4 10/03/2023 Took a couple of blatant offender leaves blocking the lower bud sites. Week 2 Day 5 10/04/2023 Groundhog's day! I took a couple of blatant offender leaves blocking the lower bud sites. Week 2 Day 6 10/05/2023 Groundhog's day! I took a couple of blatant offender leaves blocking the lower bud sites. Week 2 Day 7 10/06/2023 Heavy Defoliation was needed so I took care of that.

Week 3 Day 1 10/7/2023 Water Change Day!! This is also the kickoff Water Change where I start Weekly water changes with Nutrient adjustments each week until the end of this grow. Added: 36 gallons of Water CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-4.8mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-4.3mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-5.8Mil/Gal Liquid KoolBloom 2mil/Gal TPS SIGNAL- 2mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal Other than the water change the heavy defoliation is looking like it is holding well! Week 3 Day 2 10/8/2023 More defoliation and lower stem trimming was necessary today, buds are starting to develop nicely.... Week 3 Day 3 10/9/2023 Did a little more defoliation to keep the bud sites exposed. Stretch should only have a few days left.. gonna have lots of room this grow.. didn't get her as big as my last grow. Week 3 Day 4 10/10/2023 Did a lot heavier defoliation today, getting really close to the end of the stretch and getting really close where I can let her go on auto pilot for the most part and just enjoy the work I have done up to this point. Week 3 Day 5 10/11/2023 Nice to not have to do anything today but take a couple of photos, Getting into that phase where all the work pays off and get to enjoy the fruits of labor this far. Week 3 Day 6 10/12/2023 Needed a heavy defoliation today, looks like she might almost be fully shifted to Bud production. Week 3 Day 7 10/13/2023 Nothing to do today but take my end of the week measurements. Water change tomorrow, also the first water change for the clones..

Found some branches that were inner and lower that would not produce any good buds and I removed them. I also thinned out the leaves to try and open up as many bud sites as possible to as much of the light as possible. Week 4 Day 3 10/16/2023 I let her rest today. Week 4 Day 4 10/17/2023 Ground Hogs day.. I let her rest some more today, I did have to move my lights up about 2 inches because her sister decided to shoot up overnight. Week 4 Day 5 10/18/2023 Ground Hogs day, but the frost is really starting to come in. Loving it.. Week 4 Day 6 10/19/2023 Had to do another heavy defoliation today, her buds are growing amazingly.. Added: 36 gallons of Water CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-4.3mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-4.3mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-6.5Mil/Gal Liquid KoolBloom 2.5mil/Gal TPS SIGNAL- 4.0mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal I setup my PH automation system.. I will start it running in 24 hours after the system settles in. Week 6 Day 2 10/29/2023 Going to be interesting.. I left the old monitor in to do a double check behind the new auto PH monitor.. not eh problem is I configured the New one and I am pretty sure that it is more accurate than the previous one I was using but the difference is 5.9 on the new one and 6.19 on the old. So it leaves me to questions if I was always running my PH higher but still just within safe range? or is this one off by that much. Questions, Questions.. But so far it is working I had to make several adjustments to dial in how much of each gets released but right now they are sitting around 5.9 Week 6 Day 3 10/30/2023 Worked on adjusting the auto PH system and I think I will need to change out some of the gear to make it work better.. Right now the suction/ flow rate has to be up to high in order to get the Up or down out of the Containers and the UP kicks on before the Down has a chance to settle.. I would have hoped there is a steady reading for X seconds before it starts the other.. but there isn't it is automatically kicking off the Up even while it is still adjusting from adding Down. Week 6 Day 4 10/31/2023 Today I did nothing but take some pics.. Nice day.. the experiment of the PH auto system is a bust as of right now.. the range is out of what I want.. and it keeps immediately kicking off without giving the water time to balance.. since this is a res system which the water moves.. not the best.. it doesn't have a wait time before release more.. and it keeps releasing even after it starts reading in range.. so it drops it lower than it should.. I could probably dilute the PH up and Down and make it a little more effective.. but not sure what I want to do at this point. Week 6 Day 5 11/01/2023 Today I did nothing but take some pics.. Week 6 Day 6 11/02/2023 Ground Hogs day... Today I did nothing but take some pics.. Week 6 Day 7 11/03/2023 Today I took some pics, I had to empty the dehumidifiers out but that was pretty much it.. She seems to be happy happy and growing well..

Week 8 Day 1 11/11/2023 Water Change Day!! It is also that magic day where we start to check Trichomes to see when she is ready for CHOP CHOP.... Added: 36 gallons of Water SIlica-.5mil/Gal CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-3.8mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-2.8mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-4.3Mil/Gal Liquid KoolBloom 2.5mil/Gal TPS SIGNAL- 3.0mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal Week 8 Day 2 11/12/2023 Just enjoyed that I am on the end run.. and how she is looking.. Week 8 Day 3 11/13/2023 Ground Hogs day!! Week 8 Day 4 11/14/2023 Today one of the buds got so heavy I had to tie her up. Week 8 Day 5 11/15/2023 Today I did nothing but take some photos... Getting ready for my Trip this is going to be fun.. Running right up to the wire on deciding to harvest or try and let it go for the week we are out of town. Week 8 Day 6 11/16/2023 Ground hogs day!! I am getting everything prepped for next week.. Right now it looks like I am going to need to go for the extra week or so... with that I am thinking that I will change the water as normal Saturday Morning the only difference this week is that I will probably do 46 gallons instead of 36 pushing everything to the top to ensure running out of water is not one of my issues while on Vacation next week. Evening update checked on them and the water was uncomfortably low so I added 10 gallons of water and accompanying Nutes. This is also the last shot for the grow of CALMag... Added: 10 gallons of Water CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-3.8mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-2.8mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-4.3Mil/Gal Liquid KoolBloom 2.5mil/Gal TPS SIGNAL- 3.0mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal Week 8 Day 7 11/17/2023 Well the Trichome check this morning settles it, She need more time.. So with that said.. Must deploy my Contingency Strategy that I designed just incase I ran into this Scenario, biggest worry fluctuation of the PH level as the water goes down over the week.. 1. Change water Tomorrow as Schedule and enter Week 9 Nutes- Instead of 36gallons add 46-48 gallons 2. Balance system to 6.0 3. Check PH on Sunday Morning balance to 6.0 4. Check PH on Sunday evening before getting on road balance to 6.0 5. Hope everything looks good when I get back.

Week 9 Day 1 11/18/2023 Water Change Day!! So she wasn't ready... I am going to have to leave her this week while I am on this Trip.. I did buy this system with this in mind if I needed to take a trip that it would be self-sustaining.. but I also was hoping to have an auto PH system fine tuned and working but that didn't work out. LOL!! So here I am, filling the buckets almost to the top, hitting the basket on this one. We will see what happens over the week.. Changed the water PH balanced it.. will check it in the morning then again before I get on the road. I am shooting for a perfect 6.0 for PH before I walk out the door.. that should keep it in range for the week as the plants eat. Added: 46 gallons of Water CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-2.3mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-1.3mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-4.0Mil/Gal Liquid KoolBloom 2.5mil/Gal TPS SIGNAL- 2.0mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal Week 9 Day 2 11/19/2023 This is it Vacation time last pics until week 10..... so gone for a full week.. Have the PH set to 6.02, I will check it one more time before I get on the road and make any last min adjustments but here is to all going right while on vacation. With that I am going to pre-load the rest of the week.. it is easy when you know what the routine is going to be.. LOL!! Week 9 Day 3 11/20/2023 Vacation!! Week 9 Day 4 11/21/2023 Vacation!! Week 9 Day 5 11/22/2023 Vacation!! Week 9 Day 6 11/23/2023 Vacation!! T-DAY!!!!! Week 9 Day 7 11/24/2023 Last day of Vacation!!

Week 10 Day 1 11/25/2023 Walked in the door, dropped everything and rushed in to check on the ladies, it was past lights out so I couldn't check on the plants but checked on the pH. The PH was down to 5.19... noooooo..I adjusted it to 6.0 and crossed my fingers the plants looked good, will check on them in the morning. Week 10 Day 2 11/26/2023 Well She looked great and I think she is ready for Chop, Chop, so debating the 48 hours of darkness, or chopping today.. so going to get some breakfast and give it a think. Afternoon update: So I gave it a think and I decided to do a split harvest this run. I took the top half and left the bottom half to mature for another week. I did run out of hooks so I was forced to freeze dry some and will have that to try in 48 hours. The problem is that I will have to remember the weights that I get when I get the final harvest and all the numbers but since I am doing a split harvest anyways it will be three sets of numbers to track over the next few weeks. Week 10 Day 3 11/27/2023 Got my first little bit out of the freeze dryer and trimmed up: I got 26.1 grams of bud and 2grams of shake. Smoke is smooth will see what kind of high comes with it.. Week 10 Day 4 11/28/2023 I let them bottom half recover and get another week under their belt to color and get some trichomes on them. I will be cutting 12/2/2023 Week 10 Day 5 11/29/2023 Ground Hogs day.. Recovery/ Trichome build of lower buds. Week 10 Day 6 11/30/2023 Ground Hogs day.. Recovery/ Trichome build of lower buds. Week 10 Day 7 12/01/2023 Ground Hogs day.. Recovery/ Trichome build of lower buds.
