These are the seeds from my auto breeding project earlier this year. That diary link can be found here: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/129779-grow-journal-by-m0use Germinated by scarification of the seed with an emery board then soaking in water for 12hrs, I added in the step of paper towel for another 12hrs then planted outside with myco in the hole. Watered in with some LABS "Lactic Acid Bacteria Serum [Lactobacillus]" and Transplanter MS-CS RootRescue. They all popped up within a few days after planting outside. They are in a acti-sol fortified soil and should not need much love. I ran out of mesh to protect them so bamboo spikes will keep the birds at bay... hopefully. I also have a twin setup of these seeds but in a planter with heavy soil, they will be running side by side for comparison.

Had my run-in with powdery mildew midway through flower. But bud-washing was my savior! Completely killed all the pm and left me with a still incredibly strong end result. Its seriously some of the smoothest stuff I've grown to date, when smoked in a pipe.. I will be taking away 2 stars from the review because of the susceptibility to pm, however. This grow was a success as far as the autos go, overall... The photoperiod gal still has a few more days. Either way, I highly recommend this strain. Don't make my mistakes, make sure you keep your tent clean the whole grow through, ALONG with the air quality(just as important as the tent itself). That's where I honestly failed. After reading how spore transference works, I felt like such a knucklehead keeping my tent in a... 'homely' condition. Either way, lessons were had and I'm not one to make the same mistake twice! Cheers everyone, hope you all harvest some dankness as well ๐Ÿ˜€

2025-10-15 ๐ŸŒฟ This is the first time I've grown Black Russian from Delicious Seeds, and I am positively surprised! ๐Ÿคฉ Great plant structure, very good bud size, easy to grow and harvestโ€”and she's sooooooo beautiful. ๐Ÿ’œ The season was kind of rough for the plants ๐ŸŒง๏ธโ„๏ธ, but they had great conditions. T hey were sitting in a fluffy bed of enriched soil mix, full of beneficials like microorganisms, mycorrhizae, and microbacteria. ๐Ÿ„ The soil bed is prepared in autumn the year before ๐Ÿ‚ and refreshed in springtime ๐ŸŒฑ, so the ladies can dig in deep and grow like queens. ๐Ÿ‘‘ This year I added 2 SCROGSโ€”and that was very good. โœจ They were also covered by a roof ๐Ÿ , which was very necessary this season because it was very cold and rainy in spring and summer, with only a few weeks of lots of sun and heat. โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ I think that's the reason all my outdoor ladies took 4 weeks longer to mature. I was very pleased to harvest the Black Russian. ๐ŸŒธโœ‚๏ธ There was only one spot with starting mold because the flower was peeking out of the roof. So thank you, Delicious Seeds, for being a part here. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’š I'm sure you'll like this diary, just like I do. Greetings, Larimar ๐ŸŒบ Strain Information: Black Russian Early Version Genetics & Background Black Russian Early Version results from crossing two legendary indicas with potent medicinal effects: White Russian and a splendid Black Domina mother. This is a selection of the famous "domina" phenotype - a real jewel well-known among Spain's best growers. Growing Characteristics Cultivation: Very easy to grow Growth pattern: Moderate stretch during early flowering phase Structure: Compact yet well-branched - one of the great indica yielders Flower production: Large amounts of very dense buds Unique trait: Very few leaves grow between buds Aroma & Flavor Profile Resin: Abundant, fruity-smelling with citrusy and earthy notes (likely from Afghan ancestry) Taste: Denser than the aroma, very sweet and citrusy Description: Like a fruit salad with lemon juice

Day 8: Woke up and checked on the ladies, they were bone dry. Hit em with 70 ml of AN Coco Grow diluted in my mix. Day 9: Got the new lights in today and hooked up. Girls are looking pretty good I think. Still letting em dry out a little. Gonna add a shot of Great White on next water. No nutes will be in this shot. Day 10: Still looking good. Had to stack some loose Coco around a couple as they had a good stretch going and were leaning pretty good. Also noticed a couple of brown spots on the leaves. I am led to believe after asking questions and researching, it is more than likely nute burn? No more nutes for these girls for a while. I also got a humidifier to raise humidity as it was pretty low. Day 11: These girls almost double in size every day! They would probably be a little bigger if I hadn't of tried to give em a drink of nutes earlier on! Lesson learned!! Not bad for 6 days out of the ground regardless though, I think. Got a humidifier in the tent and it stays around 50% now. Other than last night it got up to 73%. I need to get that fixed. Day 12: Nothing new to update other than they look healthy. Think I am gonna let them dry out a touch more before watering. Day 13: Gave the girls 1 cup of ph 6.0 water this morning. Thermostat battery went out and lucky my girl caught it in time. Temp got to 86ยฐ for a couple of hours. Opened the tent for an hour to get the temp back down. Humidity has been hovering around 50% for the most part. Minor fluctuations here and there. Girls are looking good for 8 days out of the earth though!! ๐Ÿ’ช Day 14: Looking like they need another drink, dry down to around 1" deep. Gave em 2.25 cups with super diluted Coco Grow and a touch of Great White. ๐Ÿ˜ณ They are doing great! ๐Ÿ‘ Looking forward to see what week 3 has in store! Going to build a support to add my 2 CREE lights back in along with the Mars lights.

06/19/2019 Week 4 were getting there half way to 8weeks. Then we see if she is ready to flush, it is an 8-9 week plant according to the grower that swaped cuts with me. She is getting 12hours natural sunlight per day then, light deprivation for 12 hours. Getting to hottest and strongest sun for the season in next 4-10 weeks. Day 4 and getting nice candy smell like sweet tart candy๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Maybe a hint of unripened bananas green smell. Can't wait to smoke her.๐Ÿ˜Ž Also topdressed with gypsum, and ditomacitious earth 1 tbls each under layer of grass mulch. Should see the results in 2-3 weeks make the trichomes really pop! 06/25/2019 Week #4 flower day 6. First wave of pistils are withering, looking forward to next couple weeks to see how she does

Greetings, fellow cultivators and cannabis aficionados! It's that time again for a progress update on my cannabis grow diary. The journey continues to be an exciting one, with each day bringing new developments and surprises. The plants are on a determined mission to bulk up, and I couldn't be happier with their progress. Their growth during this flowering phase has been nothing short of remarkable. The buds are swelling day by day, becoming more robust and enticing. It's a rewarding sight that speaks volumes about the care and attention that have gone into their cultivation. With the buds maturing, the next milestone on the horizon is the impending flush. As the plants approach the final stage of their growth cycle, a flush will be in order to cleanse them of any accumulated nutrients. This process sets the stage for a smooth and flavorsome harvest, ensuring that the true essence of the buds shines through. One of the most captivating aspects of this phase is the visual transformation the plants undergo. As you can see from the photos, the buds have started to exhibit a mesmerizing purple hue. This natural phenomenon is a joy to behold and adds a touch of mystique to the grow space. The interplay of vibrant green and rich purple hues is a testament to the unique genetics of these plants. The journey thus far has been an amalgamation of learning, dedication, and admiration for the resilience of these cannabis plants. As we continue to nurture them through their final stretch, I'm reminded of the incredible community that surrounds this hobby. Your support and shared experiences have been invaluable in shaping this journey. Stay tuned for the upcoming flush and the final phase of this cultivation endeavor. Until then, keep cultivating with passion and keep celebrating the magic of cannabis!

Left tent is a week ahead. Fair amount of stretching this week. This time Iโ€™m paying close attention to keep flower sites high up. My experiment with bottom lighting did not went so great. I had a record yield but the quality was really bad in about 30-35% of flowers. Weak density. Iโ€™m definitely going to try again from the beginning but not this time. I have to pay attention to not let any plant get to big of a dryback in veg. It really influences the later stretching and make the plant too compact in sensitive cultivars.

So I didnโ€™t know about Grow Diaries when I started this, and do I am jumping in first day of second week. I know for a fact that she has been slowly picking up some vegetative growth over the past week. Before that I would say it was between 1-2 weeks to get her rooted out. She has been inside the tent still, but will be transplanted outside in a fabric pot with a whopping 100 Gallons of custom made soil. I am still new and learning. I started mother from seed and will be using her to make more seeds(rev-fem). It is possible I may be obsessed ๐Ÿ˜. Either way it is also my very first successful clone, which I literally took ONE cutting at about 10โ€ long off the main trunk towards the bottom, then I took off an additional 4โ€. I guess I was confident? Even though last year, or year before that when I tried a lot of cuttings from a completely different plant, they all failed miserably. I knew why. I just needed to be way more on top of my game with the cuttings. Anyways, this one here means a lot to me because itโ€™s my first clone! Letโ€™s hope I donโ€™t love โค๏ธ (water) it to death โ˜ ๏ธ!!! lol

So pleased with the growth, this week I put a net up to separate out the buds a bit and trimmed the plants to try and get more light to the lower buds. Instead of replacing the water, I'm now directly recycling and adding nutrients and additives. I found the easiest way was to pump the system out into another bucket so I could measure more accurately how much to add and then replace the mix back in the system. The grow room smells wonderful. I'm so looking forward to when I can try it.
