12/21/21 Start of week 3 all the plants have rebounded. Now labeled plants to follow each plant individually incase there's a phenotype I want to keep. Transplanted into 3 Gallon fabric pots, tent is now dedicated to those 4 Stone Cold Diesel other seedlings have been moved to there own tent.12/24/21 Cleaned floor of tent, nutrient fed plants with 250ml each of solution at 800ppm added water catchers. Also add NPK Raw Grow Microbes directly to the Coco Coir at 1/2 tsp per plant right around the stock.

Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. Defoliation every 4 days ✂️🍃🍃🍃

Wir schreiben die 9. Woche. Die Blüten sind auf jeden Fall gut gewachsen. Was mich wundert, dass die Pflanze kaum riecht. Ich habe 2 Bluematics, die Eine von denen hat schon in der Vegi Phase leicht gerochen und ihr könnt euch sicher vorstellen wie sie jetzt riecht. Die Bluematic 2 riecht so krass stark, aber ist nicht mal annähernd so weit wie diese Bluematic hier, also von den Blüten her. Vom Geruch her kann ich echt sagen, was mich wirklich beeindruckt hat, dass die 2. von meinen Bluematics leicht etwas beeriges hat, also wenn man an der riecht denkt man schon so an saure frische aus dem Wald gepflückte Blaubeeren. Viel Erfolg an jeden anderen, der das hier liest ✌️

She’s getting closer to chop! I would say about another 1.5weeks max on this girl.. buds are getting fat and frosty and she is full of blueberry terps! I’ve been giving her a diastatic malted barley tea with molasses and bokashi bran to help boost nutrient cycling and she’s been responding very well to that! Was hoping for more anthocyanins but maybe they will appear closer to harvest.

This week went good. They are on day 16 as of this post, pics were taken on day 15. They filled out the net about 85%, some plants branched out more then other or were topped more so that is one thing my partner could work on. Cover crop didn't do too well for him as he let the medium dry out a little too much these last few days, and the middle section has yellowed up a bit due to being a little more hungry then the outside (mainly in the Mando). We will see how they finish the stretch and then we get to stacking and packing weight!

Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. Seeing lots of good development, Pineapple Express is almost there! I went ahead and defoliated the light bleached leaves, trichomes are getting more cloudy. Spotted a few amber trichomes but not many... update- varies by bud. Trich’s appear mostly cloudy to me. Looking at harvesting maybe mid-week next week... 5 more days or so... maybe sooner if trichomes becomes more amber! Super excited to see how this Pineapple Express turns out! Went ahead and clipped the bud off her that had been pollinated, she was starting to open up some of the seed pods. Seeds look fully developed and are quite dark. Tester bud had a few seeds in it but not outrageously so, only a few. Berry white is trucking along, lots of trichome development this week but buds still don’t seem to be swelling much. Smell coming off this little plant is fantastic!

She is growing super fast with the 315 watts LEC, only see the diference between day 27 and day 28. Replace Bio root with Flora Blend, very happy so far so good.

Oct 17: close to ready but we’re running out of nice weather in two days. It’s been an absolutely great run of cannabis weather since July but first snow is forecast for 7 days from now, and then it’s below zero all day and there’s no hope at that point. Oct 23: weather has still been good enough to keep going but I’ll take her down tomorrow. She’s the last plant in the grow area and potentially the biggest overall but I don’t think she’ll win that contest. Oct 24: took it all 2,800 g wet. In keeping with Canadian outdoor tradition, there was a bit of snow falling as the plant was being chopped. She would have better buds with stronger sunlight but it’s all for hash and I’m happy with the total weight (of course).

Last week went well. She is still growing like crazy. Happy that the weather has started to act right so I was able to get her put in the ground. She had more roots than I thought. I think she will grow rapidly now with the strength of the sun and having unlimited root space. I did some lst, supercropping and defoilation to open her up and to create the best structure to build on. After long I will prepare to support the mains so she doesn't snap her branches. The two plants in the back of the tent are definitely taller because they got left outside for an additional week. The two plants in the front are flowering nicely and the back plants are making signs that they are flowering too. I did some major defoliation and the plants looked pretty lollipopped now.
