Aug 16: Mimosa Shot is progressing but it has been cool and rainy lately. There are indications of P deficiency because of the cool weather. The top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom will do its thing so I’m not worried about it. Hoping for more direct sunlight though. Aug 18: video shows use of far red light at dusk. To keep on a natural schedule, I use Civil Twilight as listed on timeanddate.com for my location. At this time of year it is getting earlier by 2-3 minutes every night. The far red 730 nm light puts the plant into dark mode two hours faster and is like getting a 26 h day. It works and is a good trick if you have daily access to your plants.

This week has been good, no problems to say of. No changes to the light schedule or nutrients. I do have a Lemon Pie Auto doing something strange stuff it is @ 51 days old and is giving off some mutations in the fan leafs, and she stretched to double the height of the other 2 in the tent. Also has begun to develop a few small brown spots on a couple fans too but other than that all is well.

Hey everyone ☺️. After 60 hours, the lady's case was already open :-). Today the seed was placed in soil :-). I only use the soil for cultivation because I have it left and it has to go slowly :-). When repotting, it comes in Canna Coco 👍. I watered the soil with some Canna Rizotonic before the seeds got 1 cm under the soil :-). After that, the pot was placed under a hood in which I sprayed clay every day so that the humidity is between 80-90%. I do this for the first few days until the head looks out of the earth. From this point on, I open the hood at the upper opening bit by bit every few days so that you can slowly get used to 65% humidity before the hood comes down. It is also only poured when the roots are right, until then the earth is sprayed. Which training I will use I will decide spontaneously when the time comes :-). Last week went well once the distance was changed for the light and I added another mL per gallon of cal-mag and she is getting color back to some of the damaged leaves. I think she is back on the right track. She has needed more cal-mag than anything I have grown. Can't wait to try it out when finished. The smell is unreal. Reminds me of a super sour smelling candy like sour patch kids. She is stacking up bud nicely so far. Just smooth sailing for the next few weeks I expect. Until next time happy growing to everyone!

Gelato is finally putting in a very nice structure. Purple Lemonade has a bit of structure as it is currently but it is still developing the final bruches. It seems to promise well, here at TegridyCal we love the Gelato strain very much, we are waiting for the inflorescences with anxiety. Second top 4 main bruches and here too the power plant regrown and topped again.

Day 50 - Starting week 8 today and she’s looking beautiful. She definitely not as big as I was expecting but she’s really starting to fatten up, looking and smelling amazing. Can’t wait for these last couple weeks for her to finish and chop her. Day 51 - All is looking good and hoping by the end of week 10 she’ll be ready or close to ready for chopping. Starting to get milky trichomes but still quite a few clear. The next couple weeks are gonna be fun to watch her fatten up more. Day 52 - She definitely looking good and getting a lot of milky trichs but there’s still a bit of time before she’s ready to chop, at least that’s what I’m thinking. Might do a split harvest if she calls for it but hoping she’ll be ready by week 10 or 11 at the latest. Just need her to fatten up a bit in the middle. Day 53 - Gave her a feeding of water today and continuing to watch her fatten each day. She’s starting to get really frosty and smelly and I’m loving it! Excited for the last few weeks. Day 54 - All is looking good still and it’s like this girl is almost turning into one big giant frosty bud and couldn’t be happier with how easy she’s been to grow so far. Right now she’s almost 100% milky trichs and looks like she still has a little more time to go still. I’m going for a little more couch lock so need those ambers to start showing up. Day 55 - All is looking good still, just watching her fatten up everyday. Day 56 - Last day of week 8 and she’s smelling sooo sweet and getting frostier everyday. Thinking about just giving her pH’d water from here on out. I’m guessing another week or two and she should be finishing up but just gonna continue watching trichs. Waiting for them to start turning amber. Still a few clear in there but not many, mostly all cloudy now.

Having trouble keeping humidity up as my grow is in the basement. Have home humidifier set to 35% but not enough even with a humidifier in the tent set to 60. Lights out isn’t an issue, it’s when lights on and the 6” exhaust is running that my temps are good but rh too low. UPDATE 12/21: The girls are back on track I fixed the whole home humidifier and added more humidifiers so my humidity is up to 50s. Plants are extremely healthy and the soil ecosystem is dreamy. Lots of worms at subsurface, cover crop is spreading and growing well and the plants are loving life.
