Day 30 Feb. 18th- I feel like everything is going great -all plants are now in final 7 gallon containers..have used a lot of soil! -I have been tying the plants down as much as possible -March 2nd will be 42 days and I think that is when I will switch to 12/12 -Day 35 Feb. 24th- I need trellis netting soon I retie branches constantly for inner growth HULKBERRY and GREEN GELATO are growing similar...LSD and ROYAL GORILLA are growing similar! -Very interesting!! * I have color coated the plants like I should have a couple weeks ago -GREEN GELATO has all green pipe cleaners now...HULKBERRY has all yellow pipe cleaners. very long branches and small inner growth LSD is in all purple pipe cleaners. tying it down has done wonders! it has awesome inner growth! Now the ROYAL GORILLA in all orange pipe cleaners! This plant is a pain in the ass lol. The inner growth and spacing is insanely close!!! so many shoots all tightly together. I have tied down anything I can. Unsure how it will work in budding next week

Been too busy to update the last few weeks, but they’re surviving longer then I expected. When I received my new light I did not take in consideration of the heat output and within the first night of use the tent reached a scorching 88 degrees

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Want to thank @Humboldt Seeds for working with me to answer questions about me unusual pheno! Gracias, gang! Every once and a while there is a genetic 'throwback'. Wish I'd have cloned the one from last grow! We'll see what this ASD is like. Displaying more indica like traits than sativa, although it is 80% sativa. This will be a cool grow! The clones are hanging in there! It's been 6 weeks of vegging under an LED bar. Can they keep going for another 4-5 weeks? I hope so! Will do my best! One of the two BHB clones will be transferred from soil to DWC at 10 weeks. The adjustment period will be slow. About a week, I figure. If successful. I will have solved my 'Have no way to veg' quandary. Will build a bubble cloner for the next batch. Lil budds starts to appears everywhere this week :) I made a big defoliation and main lining on those plants I hope great quality smoke at the end. Next week I will start to put Booster in my mixture and up load it to 1.5liters per plant :)

Week 10 - not long now.. She looks good, just a little concerned with the fan leaves but from what I've read this is normal and nothing to worry about at this stage. Hope that is true. 🤔 I've kept the nutrients lower this week as I am worried about over feeding. The soil I mixed with alot of Manure from goats, ducks and chicken so I dont think I need to add anything else. First time growing... better to be safe than sorry. I got to the bottom of last weeks droopy leaves - Underwatering! I had been keeping her out of the rain and had forgot to feed water. Lesson learnt. I noticed the roots get compact on top in a fabric pot if you dont slowly water in, the water runs off the pot and not through it. Fixed this by bottom feeding until the soil was fully wet - I guess bottom feeding is the way to go when this happens. 10-20% of Pistils are brownish now and most of the trichomes are cloudy with a few still clear and the odd one amber. Still trying to get to grips with the x45 loupe. I dont have steady hands 😆 The lower branches that were LST'd are getting really big now so for sure I will be pulling all the branches back next time. Removed potential bud rot and will closely monitor. Hopefully she will be ok for 10 more days 🙏🤞

Because she's a herma I'm not going to do much about it. I took away all the balls and she is growing not so beautiful as I wished for.

July 4: topped both plants.

This was the last week of veg. I switched from organic nutrients to synthetic. For the pipes of the autopot. I will therefore also flush them for 2 weeks. In the first week of flowering there will be a dehumidifier in the tent to get around 50% humidity

Got a new light this week, it's basically a HLG 260 R-Spec except locally manufactured using the same Samsung LEDs. Big Mumma got her 60x60cm tent today and will go in there under one Viparspectra 300W blurple (130w from the wall). I trimmed her, super cropped her main stem and added a scrog net in preparation of flowering her in the next couple of days. Because my other plants were getting up past 75cm after 7 days of flower (100cm is my absolute max) , I decided to supercrop the canopy back down to about 60-65cm - it was pretty scary and I definitely broke the outer stem on some of them. Also gave them a good trim. Fortunately most bounced back strong the next day which are the most up-to-date photos you see (17/4/20).

There is a timelapse of this past week! This plant, the blueberry, is in the background. Early this week I transplanted the rock wool cube into my DWC system. I pH'd the water, but otherwise did not provide nutes for a few days. The grow tent is now on an 18hr light period. Sometime in the middle of this past week, this blueberry started wilting! In response, I provided the nutrients listed above, with the addition of 1 gallon of (hard) tap water to provide calcium. Unlike my GSC, the nutrients did not fix the wilting, but the wilting did go away after 2-3 days. I had some humidity troubles, so I resorted to flooding the bottom of my tent. This does seem to help maintain humidity around 50% RH. This plant is growing asymmetrically! It's first set of "real leaves" is not even. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.

2 Girls 1 Cup week 9? Short term memory loss is a m'fer... *edit* i have talked directly to quite a few suppliers/vendors/etc... and i can tell you FastBuds is a great company to do business with. im not licking boots here... i paid for my beans, and am loving these FastBuds genetics so far. JUST LOOK AT IT! a little short, but i think thats my fault from around the day 21ish mark if ya look back in the diary. i told myself i wasnt going to run any more autos, unless it was some odd occasion. but IF i do in the future... it WILL be FastBuds. unless this pink runtz i have ends up being an auto, and if it is.. im going to off the fucker lol. Day 56- GC is trying to catch up. I think stabbing the main helped a lil lol. Few random plucks on WG tonight, and don't even want to start on GC for now. May clean it up a bit later depending on how the back feels. It's got a ton of branches that are going to be too close REAL soon. Kinda f'd GC off over a week ago, and said I'd run it again in the future to make up for it. So not too pressed on how it looks, as long as it stays alive until WG chopping day. Atleast it wasn't a male 🤣. Anyway, bumped the girls up to the "aggressive" mid bloom GHE feed. Using TAP water to reduce the amount of calmag needed since mine has N in it.. Breakdown as follows: 5gal TAP water - 137ppm 15mL calmag - up to 252ppm 10mL hydroguard Micro- 33mL Grow- 33mL Bloom- 47.5mL RES total after PH correction - 818 @ 5.91. ============================================================================================= Day 57- I REALLY need to cut back GC... like yesterday... backs been hurting something fierce, and I'm out of my medicine of choice ATM. few random plucks on WG today. may make my way in there again later and start hacking away at GC. will update pic if I do. They're both liking aggressive feed, maybe a touch too heavy on the N though. *edit* 🎶oops, i, stabbed it again...🎶 lol. still feel there's a branch that's gotta go. Started pulling WG out some to help expose lowers. Need more garden wire for sure ============================================================================================= Day 58- cut back GC even more.. we'll keep it alive, but I'll make sure it doesn't block the beloved WG. remember, there will be a list of things I learned I did WRONG in this experiment and will share at the conclusion. Trimmed up WG little bit later in their morning. Top view pic is after the small defol. Some fans only had the middle finger snipped, to be on the safe side. Progress seems slow on WG atm, but it's getting ready to fatten up and mature. ============================================================================================= Day 59- i just cut back GC AGAIN!!! like HALF of its branches, and cut all the tops to the same length before snapping todays pic. after comparing 58 to 59's pic... it STILL looks like it grew.. WTF... that things confused ASF or something... just dont herm on me... WG finish is right around the corner.. a few weeks... hang in there GC... hang in there... ive been topping off with 80% strength nutes and RO water, and the EC has remained pretty consistent. may bump em up one more time for WG next week to help fatten her up some. right before we dial it all back for the end. WG already looking pretty frosty, and the weatherman is predicting some more in the next weeks. *edit* added a night vid to show my WG defol struggles. Its easier to see why the foliage looks so thick and it needs a trim when lights on when you see lights off.. We're down to a few fans towards the bottom to help out down there. Rest are connected to bud sites, and are limited. May need to add a small fan blowing up WG skirt soon. ============================================================================================= Day 61- nothing really to report. tried to kill the ice probe, and put frozen 1L bottle (in 12hr rotations) to see how it performed. i think 61.2 is a little too cold for my liking, and one morning i woke the temp was over 71.. the roots are messing with the flow and the water isnt getting chilled as much with the probe. problem ive been facing for the last week or so. ice probe back in, and warming up the tent with its exhaust again.. should fab up a duct system for a 3d printer... ideas... tinkercad here we go.. ============================================================================================= Day 62- kinda feel bad for leaving GC out of the shot yesterday. Since she's riding along in this experiment... added her back today. WG is starting to phase 2. Her finish is coming within the next 2-3 weeks I'm guessing. Maybe 4? Day 79 / Flower 31 / Flip ~40 / 18.03 Plants look super frosty. They should be ready in a about 1-2 weeks already. Need to check that carefully though. I will harvest at 10% amber. I'm watering every second day, actually. Using the EC again, but hesi got also organic nutrients in their coco line. EC is at 1.6, i'm using RO (EC 0,0 water). So i'm using even more nutrients, then shown in the hesi nutrient chart. Plants like it, i guess. No signs of burning. It looks like they turn a little bit into purple. I will start to use only water soon to begin flushing and i plan to let them dry out the last 6-7 days. Stress them as much as possible... Day 80 / 19.3 Started flushing stage. Every 2 days. Flushing with EC 0,0 water till 40-50% drain. I have a RO system, costs were 90 e.... Works fine... I have tap water in EC 0,8...The off water from the ec 0,0 water, is still nice, it's ec 0,4... If you want to optimize your grows, that's a thing to do... :) Day 82 / 21.3 Drain EC 0,4 I didn't used any additional heating in this grow. I guess, the temperature was always under 25 degrees. Yield will be lower due to lower temperature. Terpent profile will be better due to lower temperature. I will now do a proper flushing and drying out.. Nutrients will be soaked out of the cocos and the leafs.. Final weed will tatse better like that. That's the idea.... This 2-3 week finish sounds pretty good to me... :)

On 7th day of flowering we removed lower little branches and made some lollipopping on the plants. Also we made some defoliation on gelatos cause they were very bushy but almost removed only biggest fan leaf. As plants were bigger enough we started adding granural mineral NPK 12-18-23 1 g/L and CalMag Xtra by advanced nutrients 1mL/L to the solution.
