Excited, this will be my first full grow with my new quantum boards. I cannot wait to see how they do. I can’t grow in the summer because I’m too busy with work and with A/C running all day every day + the EV car the bill is just to open high.
My tent broke over the summer, ok maybe I fell off of a latter into it.
New tent on order. Same size 4x4x7’. LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS GROW!
Nothing special to report. Chugging along. I’ll probobly replant them next week in final containers. 5-10 gallon air pots.
After many grows I’ve decided I like airpots the best because the plant sits an inch above the floor. Meaning I don’t have to worry about removing the runoff right away.
Later in the plants life I tend to water 4-6 times a day(handwatered coco) so I get a bit of runoff. Then I only need to vacuum it out once at the end of the day.
I’ve always wanted to automate my watering for simplicity can anyone recommend a good system fed from a gravity fed tank?

Going great. I’ve still got them under 24h blurples until tonight when I repot them into 7 gallon smart pots. I’ll switch them to 18/6.
I can’t justify the big light yet so I’ll wait a week or so on that.
I’m planting them in royal coast tupur which I cannot say enough good stuff about always perfect runoff ph. Never signs of overwatering no matter how many times a day I feed. TRy it.
One thing I forgot to mention in my video! I had a lighting timer almost catch fire last night! It was melted and black and when I pulled it out it caught flame very briefly. I went out and bought one that could support double the wattage of my light that minute.
LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE! Be certain that your timer can handle all the wattage you’re pulling through it and then some! DONT BE AN IDIOT AND ALMOST BURN DOWN YOUR HOUSE!!!!!!!
Everything is going great. No major issues no major problems. Plant growth is phenomenal. I’m gonna lower my scrog net a good 6 - 8 inches tomorrow. Get the plants growing into it. I figure another 3-5 weeks of veg and then off to the races. I haven’t yet decided if I’m going to use canna boost this round. I haven’t decided if it’s worth the cheese anyone wanna give their ¢.02? I’ll definately use molasses in flower. But that’s it, I don’t like adding adjuncts and unneeded crap. It’s all just a waste. I used mammoth last grow on one plant and the plant I didn’t didn’t use it on got higher yeilds buy quite a bit. 1/2 Oz. So that’s shit is snake oil. I really feel anything you add to your grow should yield you more than it costs right? ROI.
Going great. All my perameters are right where I want them. Scroging has begun and I’m adjusting every two days or so. Feedings about three times a day. Going through about five gallons per day without a lot of runoff. How are the ladies looking to you lot?
By the way today’s date is December 15th 2018 because grow diaries doesn’t tag these updates automatically(a really big oversight in my opinion) I use this diary mostly for personal reference.
Honestly these weeks are boring. I’m gonna jinx myself but I’m not having issues, problems, anything. My plants are thriving they’re growing at extraordinary rates and they’re perfectly healthy. I’m no master grower but I’m really happy with where things are. My temps, humidity, light and nutrients all seem to be on point and in the best place I can have them. I’m about 2 weeks out from flipping I think. Probobly less. The scrog is about 70% full and I’m shooting for 85% ish. I have no complaints or problems to whine about. Basically I’m ready to manage the largest grows in Colorado. Lmfao. Me and my two plants have this shit nailed down.
But in all reality things are going great. They’re anti climatic and I’ve got some healthy, happy plants. I’m proud of the grow.
I grow my plants at half of the feed schedule that canna calls for. 5ml/gallon vs the schedule 10 ml/gal. And I get amazing growth. Does anyone think adding all the adjuncts to my grow, feeding full strength really gives you that much more yeild?
Don't follow a set feeding schedule. Keep in mind that the nutrients needs of a plant under 1000 watts are going to be different than one under 250 and that's before taking into account type of light and environmental differences. If 5 ml/gal gives you a healthy plant then keep at it, don't increase the feed, unless you start seeing signs of deficiency. Yield depends on light, not nutes. Don't buy into the additives hype, they are unnecessary and from experience I have never noticed any difference yield wise.
So not much change as far as conditions. I added Zeus juice for a bit of a boost on the humic acid front. I’ll be honest I haven’t noticed a change. Otherwise all is going well. I think I’m max a week from flipping. I might even flip on Wednesday. The scrog is about 80% full.
You can see from my pictures I need to defoliate. So I think I’ll plan on doing that on Sunday. Let the rebound a bit and flip no later than next Friday. But more like Wednesday is more likely.
Anyone use Humic acid in their grows with synthetic feeds? What benefits am I looking for? I’ve recently added Zeus juice and I’m unsure of the benefits.
hey kilgore, the fact is that plants cant actually "digest" nutrients what they do is they "digest" "chelated nutrients" which is basically nutrients that have been turned into nitrates and this is done through chelation agents for example enzymes or amino acids like humic and fluvik acids. What's the benefit ? explossive growth from nutrients being made available through chelation. Other benefits include keeping the root system healthy, healthy roots = big growth. You'll see this happen yourself, just make sure you dont over do it because obviously highly available nutrients means increased possibility of nutrient burn. Simple as that. You can even spray it on the leaves for increased metabolism : fast metabolism bigger growth. spray it on last few weeks of veg first week or two of flower. Chelation agents are the magic juice no one tells you about, you'll see ! Hope this helps ! 🚀
Ok so I’m still going to update on Friday with pictures and more in-depth info. But I want to mark 1/9/19 as the first day of 12/12
Also I’m removing the Zeus juice. No gain or change was observed after two weeks. I just cannot justify it.
Updated with this weeks pictures and video. The stretch after 3-4 days is already apparent. I saw 2”-3” growth since flip. Previously growth had somewhat stagnated. So lots of tucking to do today.
Everything is on schedule, I saw pistils within 4 days of 12/12 on both. Not a surprise because they’re feminized seeds, but there’s always a chance. Does anyone scrog with regular seed? I can’t imagine that being a good idea.
Still tucking from now through to next week. I’d say the scrog is at 90% full. I could have vegged one more week I bet. This plant isn’t a huge “stretcher” and I knew that.
The scrog is now “floating” above the ground on the plants. None of the legs touch the ground. Nbd just interesting.
No complaints, issues, problem. Touch wood. I’ll check in next week.
Things are going great. Starting to hit the flowering stride. Smell is increasing, tricomb production has begun (barely) and I did my last tucking today. Made sure all the flower points have good light and not overcrowded.
Ok, so I’m starting to see a deficiency. Yellowing between the veins at uppermost leaves. My ph is on par. I’m maintaining my grow per normal with one change. I added Carbo load at 2ml/g.
Could that be the problem?
I think I’m going to flush today and dump my tank. Restart.
Yellowing between veins can be a lot of stuffs bit if you say that it can be spot on the upper leaves then you can be sure it is an immobile nutrients deficiency as the mobile nutrient def is visible on the lower leaves 1st and then spread from the bottom to the top. In you case it can be Iron , manganese or zinc. What is the cause of your trace elements deficiency? I don't know, it can be a straight deficiency which mean you under feeding them a bit or it can be an excess of another nutrient that cause a lockout and made the absorption of the other nutrients difficult. I don't think that carbo load can be responsible for that but you should use a nutrient that contain some trace elements to get rid of your deficiency. Your idea to flush today can be a good solution to reboot the medium 😊👍
I just noticed today I’m having some top leaves yellowing between the veins. My ph is on point so I don’t think it’s a deficiency.
I haven’t changed anything except the Carboload. So I think I’m going to dump my tank and flush.
I really cannot imagine its the Carboload either. So I’m a bit perplexed.

The scrog and finding some lower yellow leaves it was a nitrogen deficiency. Upped the A&B
I believe upping my nutrients has solved my yellowing issues. I don’t see it spreading or expanding.
Other than that things continue to go great. Progress every week looking good. Smell increasing. This plant is a bit like northern lights you don’t smell it too strongly until you disturb it.
I continue to feed feed feed. Some days I can only do one but when time allows I feed up to three times a day.
Week went great. Buds growing taller daily. Starting to bulk up. I began pk 13/14 today and will use it until flush. It’s the only nutrient I ever use at full feed schedule strength. I dont know if i Need to but I see the bulk it puts on every grow and I use so little of it collectively that I don’t worry about price. So there you go. That and I don’t use the liquid gold canna boost.
It seemed to lower ph a bit so I upped the silica to raise it to 6.
Dropped the Zeus juice. It was really gumming up my tank. I’m not a fan. I think if I decide to use fulvaic acid again I’ll use something better suited for hydro. Plus I was worried about ppm being too high when adding the pk.
Plants don’t have a heavy smell. It’s a lot like the northern lights strains I’ve grown. You don’t smell it much until you disturb the plants, touch them. Then the aroma comes to life.
Raining, raining, raining. It wont stop raining. I’m getting worried about mold and wpm. I can’t keep the exhaust on all night because my garage is dipping down in the 40’s. 60-60% humidity in the tent during the day. 90+ after lights out. Scary shit. No way to heat my garage and really it would make no use. If I had the exhaust going all night it’d just be sucking in more humid air. Nothing to be done cause I’m not buying a dehumidifier for a 4x4 2 plant grow. Just cross my fingers.
Finally stopped raining. Humidity is back at tolerable levels. I did however find one questionable bud. Possible bud rot. I didn’t fuck around and removed it. I hope that stopped it in its tracks.
Definitely in the harvest window now. Everything is milky and looking packed with tricomes. I’m probobly going to hold out at least a week if not two.
But looking really good.
All trimmed and all the trim turned into dry ice hash tomorrow.
So in the end I netted 14.23 Oz of flower. I’m going to call this a very lazy trim job. If the bud had no density to it I tossed it in the trim.

And I quart of dank coconut oil “butter” from the rest.
Really happy with the outcome. My personal biggest harvest by a long shot and I’m going to credit the quantum boards for that.
If I had done a complete trim I’ve no doubt I would have netted 1.70
