What more can I say it's Day 50 the plant is coming along beautifully I was worried at first as it looked like it might have been having some growth issues but my fears were dispelled. She's starting to change colours but still has tons of white hair so I asked the maid at least another three weeks till harvest I could be mistaken I will keep testing the plant to see how the trichomes are developing hey hey Day 51 and i took a small clipping to put under the microscope and she is getting nice and cloudy with some amber, nex time im getting and black base so both you and i can see better Day 52 and I'm starting to see more Amber trichomes. I'm doing the best I can to get his clothes a picture of the actual bud as I can with my phone seeing as I don't have a laptop to bring my microscope into the grow room Day 53 so i took a clipping from one of the buds at the top and it has almost no amber tricombs go fig lol maybe i have a bit more after all. maybe i will hit that 70 day mark hello again its Day 56 and it's the last day of this week's cycle still on the wall about whether I should flush starting Saturday. Just about all trichomes are cloudy with my estimate being about 10% Amber. I could probably push it another week I'm just not sure I want 30 to 50% Amber trichomes. At this point, I water the roots to take off the rest of the fertilizers I used. I think it gives better flavor and you don't smoke the residues. The plant start to use its reserves to be almost done.

There is very little to do with the plants, they are getting fatter by the day and frostier by the day. I found out I was giving them way too much nutrient so I started giving them 0.4 EC less (its still a work in progress). The lights are still on 85%. It is starting to smell more and more sour and there is also a fresh lemon smell coming from it now.

I topped yesterday, watered today without fert. sprayed a mixture of oils on the topsoil for pests. Any advice or comments always appreciated -

Hey growmies, first week of flower and i pushed my comfort zone and defoliated a lot, I also taken off most lower nodes, as my previous plants have always had a bit too many popcorn buds. Weaved most of the branches through a trellis, I need a better one but it still worked out okay. Beginning of week.. This is the last and final week for sure for sure lol.. That makes 10 weeks from 12/12.. And by the trichomes they should both be prefect!.. With the Mandarin Cookiea having just a tad bit more amber than the ETHOS Cookies.. They both should have plenty.. This week may be cut a day short.. Because the only day I can find time to harvest will be the day before the next week starts.. The last day of the week (end of week).. And I want to go ahead and try the 48 hours of darkness thing once more.. To see if it may have any effect.. I guess if alot of people already do it.. What can it hurt??.. Anyways.. Still just giving rainwater.. Lately it has gone down on the PPM side.. Niceeee.. I was going to get some distilled and run it through (0 - 10 PPM) but the rainwater is at 15 - 17 PPM.. That's close enough for me.. Maybe still run a gallon of distilled the day before I begin the 48 hours of darkness thing-a-ma-doodle lol.. Today.. This is what happened... Going in: 17 PPM at 6.9 pH for both.. Run off: Mandarin Cookies was 100 PPM at 5.9 pH and the ETHOS Cookies was 54 PPM at 6.0 pH.. I think the Mandarin Cookies needs to be flushed a bit more before I feel comfortable with the flushing.. I believe its fine to not flush for a whole 2 weeks at 0 PPM or whatever.. But I do like to get it down pretty low by harvest time.. But I think everything will be fine.. Just gotta make sure I dont fuck up the drying 😬😬😬 Mid week.. Almost there!!! So excited! Can't wait! Got both runoffs at 50 PPM.. Just been watering as usual.. Both of these strains are going to be epic af! I think tomorrow will be the last day of lights on.. Going to begin the pre-harvest dark period to hopefully increase trichome/thc production or whatever it does 😂😂😂 if this bud ends up better than anything I've ever grown then I will do it every grow!.. But we shall see!!! End of week.. No pics this update.. They are both bathing in complete darkness for a couple days then CHOP!... Haven't even peaked at them.. They both should be on point! So happy for this to be just days away from going into jars!!! I've already cut a small branch from the Mandarin Cookies and dried it for 5 days.. A little faster then I wanted.. But wow.. It tasted immaculate.. I removed every leaf I could.. Leaving just the calyxes.. No chlorophyll.. Not really enough to get a buzz from.. Plus that was like 2 weeks ago.. So it was still too early for any decent amounts of THC.. But the taste is delicious af!.. I will take some pics before the chop and post them for the "end of this week" since it is going to be a day early anyway.. End of week.. Nvm lol.. Took some pics before harvesting and here they are! Even a sneak peak at the drying in the tent.. May be awhile till I post the harvest.. Want to make sure I give the best review on these ladies as I can! Hells yeah!!! So dank!

6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. I hope you enjoy the pics. 6/15/2023 Week 10- Day 3 of Flower (Day 133 overall) Auto Pilot Day 8.. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

Week 6 At the beginning of the week I simply finger pressed the new node growth to begin separation and branch direction. 3 days after the last topping, I set up the tomato rings and attempted to tie down train the branches. In retrospect I should have given another day of growth before trying to tie to the new nodes. One plant made the LST training without issues(green tomato ring), however I snapped 2 center colas on the second plant(orange tomato ring). From experience I know that these will not produce tall colas since it happened so late in Veg, so I decided to completely remove them and will monitor for any new growth on those nodes to remove it. So now Im growing an 8set Mainline And a 6/4 set Manifold: Mainline : is a planned topping and defoliation of every cola that makes all topped splits have roughly the same distance to the roots for water ways by removing all other growth along at the same point on any cola. Ideally this helps generate mostly equal buds along the whole cola after each topped split and then the whole plant without having to use scrog nets and just local support ties instead. In a Mainline you remove any other growth that would otherwise need those water ways to grow as well, so Manifold: is the same thing as Mainline but in Manifold you leave a few branches to grow from a lower start point on any cola and then remove everything else. Ideally this gives mostly the same benefit as Mainline but if planned correctly allows you to be finished topping in just 2 separate topping days rather than 3 separate topping days. (I am using it here to correct this late veg mistake in my breaks) The tie downs are positioning 6 of the colas to grow out flat until it can reach the outer bend of the tomato rings where I will allow them to stretch straight up in bloom. 2 cof the colas will have the lowest node of braches growing up in the middle for a total of 4 branches. However in the 8 cola plant I am also training 6 to the outer ring and 2 colas to grow up in the center of the ring. Feed this week was again an auto pot reservoir feed at 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 360ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 40ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe above). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds and ph balance this week was for 6.3. Next week will consist of more LST training with a simple move of the wires as needed. Feed will increase in total ppm and bloom mix and I plan to reduce ph to the 5.8 range slowly, so about 6.1 this week and 5.9 next before flip on week 9.

Hello Growmies! This week most of the pistils have turned amber, branches have started flopping over and the trichomes are beginning to appear milky, I think the harvest window has opened. I have had to put up a couple of plant-yoyos, every time i touch this plants my hands are mad sticky. the tips of some fan leaves are burned, I think I need to lower my Green sensation dose a tiny tad, I have rising EC issues even after lowering overall EC, which tells me that my plant isn't using all the PK, I guess this pheno is a little sensitive to nutes. next reservoir change I will be dropping green sensation to 0.5-0.7 ml/l. Or it might just be that the plant is getting to the end of its life span. Either way, I woulnd't be surprised if next weeks ends up being the last, I might attempt to flush her, I have never done that. Thanks for checking out week 15, stay safe and keep growing
