Week 2 of flower roughly and all plants have begun the shift to cotton balls. Except for the males of course but, they’re grown som hefty sacks also😉. As it turns out we have 3 males, not 2. That might present an option to harvest pollen off one of em to actually save for future use. We’ll see how it goes. Other than that - all plants are performing generally well. Certainly we’ll enough to make some seed babies so let’s get to it. I figure nuts start bust’n in about 2 weeks or so yall! Giddy up and slap dat ass - we gotta make ourselves some bit ‘o awesome😎. Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Yesterday she got PH adjusted water, next time there will be something with additives 🙂. But I'm quite happy with the genetics of Sweetseeds, which is very difficult these days as there are so many apparently good breeders. But that's definitely not the case, so I recommend Sweetseeds to you, you're definitely in good hands. Aug 17: great plant. Hit 30 C today, and there was a two minute hail storm late in the day. It sounded very impressive on the roof, but I had moved the pot plants up against the house and they were fine. The rest of the garden took a mild beating. Aug 18: rained all day. Aug 20: sunny yesterday and most of today. Watered with some Kekp extract in the evening. Flowering is progressing and we’re still in mid August so things are looking good. Aug 22: don’t take flash pics of photoperiod plants unless you’re immediately using a 730 nm far red light to put them into dark mode. Aug 23: looking good for the end of another diary week. This Gorilla Cookies is definitely the fastest flowering of the four plants I’m growing this year.

Most of the info is in the video! I also switched up the root juice too a 4-3-3 grow nute with some mag in it, very light feeding. Has only have 1 water of it so far! On day 21 possibly seeing a pistol on Uma maybe even one on Pam, next week will probably be full of preflower!

This grow was so amazing!! The purple punch’s came out super sticky dense nugs, super frosty , an a huge smell of blueberry muffins! Super fun grow along with the Forbiddin Runtz definitely one of the sweetest berry smelling strains of ever grown, highly recommend everyone to try out the purple punch’s, you will be highly satisfied!! #1 stretched a good amount and has great structure and normal growth. #2 is a mutant I put up some mutations on the fan leaves that look pretty cool. Tough structure to work with it's short and has strange internodes. Everything is healthy as it could be right now. The heater made such a big difference I couldn't be happier with how these are growing at this point hopefully it keeps up. Been removing fan leaves here and there but I'm trying to hold off until day 21 and I might give them all a pretty heavy leaf strip. I read something saying defoliate heavy on day 21 and 42 to increase yields so I might give that a shot. These lights are the real deal I got a meter and even tho I barely know how to read it I'm getting much better canopy penetration and the flexibility of having 4 separate units instead of 2 is going to come in handy. Soon I will put all the shorter plants on one side and tall on the other and adjust the lights accordingly. FastBuds Sour Diesel Auto 4th week of flowering completed 11th Jan 2020 Another weeks gone by here and not a lot to report other than both the sour diesel girls are smelling quite nice The normal plant looks great and has been very easy to grow and plant number 2 (polyploid) continues to do her thing. Sorry about the lack of picture quality it's because I find it hard to get clear shots in the sunlight. I need to work on my photography skills . 😁

Start of week 3 I believe the girls are doing good a few minor worries but that’s at ease for now I think , i have added nutes at a low level and will increase once I see how the plants react to the introduction of the nutes .. Looking into starting lsd on some plants but not too sure wether it’s to early or so . will continue to update the week but for now Started lst on a few plants day 15 and seen good reactions by day 17 so quite happy with that and will continue this process I will also look into topping my plants as well but not just yet ... they seemed to like the nutes as well so all good week so far Soo topping done on 4 plants wasn’t as scary as it sounded haha let’s see how they recover ! Going to combine lst as well now Very good recovery it looks like and the end of week 3 looks promising with the plants happy growing

This week has been wild. I had to cut the sides of the greenhouse as the plants had it bursting at the seams. These girls are all flowering beautifully and starting to frost up. Happy Growing.

The offset comes from an early, photo-heavy germination phase. We’ll continue clarifying this weekly for consistency. ⸻ 🌱 Growth Overview – Divergence & Character This week, the Nectar Drip really began to separate into personalities. Same genetics, same room, same feeding — but very different expressions depending on training intensity and structure guidance. We’re now clearly working with multiple plant strategies inside the same tent. ⸻ ✂️ Training Breakdown – Plant by Plant 🌿 Plant A – Leaf Work & Gentle Guidance This plant is trained using leaf bending and leaf tucking only. • Large fan leaves are tucked under neighboring leaves • Growth tips are exposed naturally • No clamps or hard bending Response: Absolutely thriving. She’s growing tall, wide, and fast, now reaching roughly 8–9 nodes, with beautiful branching and strong vertical momentum. This is a great example of how far simple leaf management can take a healthy plant. ⸻ 🌿 Plant B – Aggressive Opening with Plastic Clamps This plant started similarly to Plant A, but quickly outpaced the rest in size. This week, we: • Introduced plastic clamps • Opened her aggressively • Focused on redistributing energy from top dominance to lower branches Response: Outstanding. She accepted the harder intervention without stress, opened up beautifully, and continues to push growth across the canopy. Her size advantage is now being converted into structure, not just height. ⸻ 🌿 Plant C – The Heavy LST Experiment This is the plant we’ve been focusing on since last week — the smallest of the group, but the one receiving the most intensive training. • Strong horizontal bending • Continuous opening of leaves • Structural redirection from early on Response: She’s thickening, branching, and responding incredibly well. While she is still behind in height (which is expected), she’s building a dense, intentional structure. This plant is also the most delayed in showing pre-flower signs, which is completely normal under 12/12 from seed when subjected to stronger training. She may never be the tallest — but she is quickly becoming one of the most interesting. ⸻ 🌸 Pre-Flower Signals Some plants are now showing early pre-flower signs. Nothing dramatic yet, but the transition is clearly approaching. As expected: • The most heavily trained plant is the most delayed • The more upright plants are moving faster This confirms that structure and stress management play a significant role in timing under a 12/12-from-seed regimen. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment – Weather-Driven Adjustments This week brought real-world challenges. Outside conditions: • ~5 °C • 92% relative humidity Inside the tent: • Temperature: ~21.8 °C • Relative Humidity: ~58% Despite cooler and more humid ambient conditions, the plants are showing no complaints whatsoever. This range is manageable, and the canopy looks relaxed and happy. ⸻ 💡 Lighting – Letting Plants Decide We are now running approximately 700–850 PPFD, depending on plant height and canopy position. Smaller plants receive less, taller ones naturally receive more. This is intentional. The plants are: • growing into the light • dictating their own intensity • transitioning naturally toward flowering I’m not pushing — I’m responding. This run is about listening, especially under 12/12 from seed. ⸻ 🌬️ Airflow – Vortex Method Airflow is dialed in using a vortex-style circulation: • Fresh air enters from below • Warm air exits higher up • Side fans encourage circular movement • Central fans gently disrupt stagnation without collapsing the vortex This creates: • even temperature distribution • stable humidity • strong gas exchange • minimal microclimates Air is moving around the plants, not blasting them — exactly what we want at this stage. ⸻ Nutrition – Adjustment for Water Quality & LEDs 💧 Water Source We are now using a mix of: • rainwater • dehumidifier-collected water Starting EC is extremely low (~0.2), so supplementation became necessary. CalMag Introduction We introduced Plagron CalMag Pro at 1 ml/L as a preventive measure, especially important under high-intensity LED lighting, where calcium and magnesium demand increases. Current Hand-Watering Parameters (Nectar Drip Plants) • EC: ~2.29 • pH: ~6.0 • Water Temperature: ~22.8 °C 🚰 Reservoir / Autopot Clarification The tent contains six plants total, not all Nectar Drip. • Autopot reservoir currently runs Terra Grow + CalMag only • Organic inputs are excluded from the reservoir (not compatible) • Reservoir EC: ~1.43 • Reservoir pH: ~5.9 Autopot plants are occasionally top-fed by hand to receive the full recipe. Well, this is another new journey with @FastBuds, I know they are great, so this time I will grow 2 girls in a tent, each one will have a separate diary, and here her first week has already passed, everything looks pretty good, in a week she will be transplanted into a 15 liter pot :).

6/5 Starting week 5 The girls are drinking more quickly. So today I watered and fed using TPS1 Circle has just passed Gaia in height. From Friday 6/2 she grew 6 inches from 22 to 28 she got 3 liters Gaia grew from 24 to 26" she got 4 liters 6/7 Circe is growing like a weed (heehee) and quickly passed Gaia. Circe is 31" Gaia 27". Gaia mother is the stereo type mom large hips and flowing tresses while Circe is the willow-of-the-wisp free spirit so true for a healer. Today I flushed all the plants with 1 gallon of filtered water to remove any buildup of nutrients. Hopefully, since I've cut way back on fertilizer, they are getting what they need. The other two Cream Caramel and Gelato 41 are short and remain on the crates to keep them within 30 inches from the light. At 6/9 they are 11 inches. 6/9 water and feeding day. Circe and Gaia both drink 4 liters of water each feeding. Circe grew 3 more inches She is now 34.5. Gaia has stopped growing at 27.5 inches, Gelato 41 is 12 inches (lst) and Cream Caramel 13. These are AFRO girls. Short, Squat and Very bushy. So many leaves, I may have to trim out some large fans to give light to the bud sites. I put mirrors under their canopies to increase light penetration. My mom and dad met and married in post WWII Japan and spent several years there. Mom taught the children of the officers and diplomats but she was also a life-long learner. Her interest were cultural, religious spiritual, music and art. She studied Sumee, Japanese painting, ikebana, flower arranging, and cooking. Some of her Sumee art shown is in week 2. Here in week 5 I've included some flower arranging pictures known in Japan as Ikebana. @DreamIt, the tree is for you From the beginning of my life, my parents encouraged exploring the world around me. I tried different religions and over the years learned, that while there are many religions, they basically say the same thing. I choose spiritually and oneness with nature rather than the structured sermons of the church services I attended in my youth. Education was emphasized since my mom was a teacher and my dad an officer. My early education was in private schools since I tested above the grade level in public school. My education was fundamental reading, writing, arithmetic. science and art until I went to college. My Dad had the greatest influence on my interests in science and math. In college I studied psychology & biology and wanted to be a doctor. While I was very smart, I really didn't want to continue 12 more years of school for a medical degree. I switched my major of study to business and focused on accounting. More soon. I hope you are enjoying Alphonse Mucha's art nouveau representation of my goddesses.
