Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. -Notes Green crack is over 34 inches while the La chems around 24. Next time i do a diary i will do each plant differently. Light height is 12 inches from highest colla which belongs to GC1. And let me say wow. Not only did she bounce back but she has went back to outgrowing all the other plants with stride. If a pro grower had this seed she would have got her own 3x3 cause that is a 1 pound plant. So.. I flushed TD2, GC2 and TD1. Nothing major just about 3 gallons fush each. Most of the ppm readings where already low. Its a good idea to flush out the soil. Already the lime green color is gone from gc2. Td2 is starting to frost golden brown. So far all the plants are on the road to good health. My ppm is around 600 but going to bump up to 900. We will see. We did the final defoliate. Mainly cleaned up the bottom of the plants and a few of them got pruned. Also cleaned out the tent and wiped down and moved fans around. -GC1 has grown almost 20 inches this week. Insane. I am about out of room in my tent. My light is near max and the colas are 10 inches away. Just going to have to deal with the fox tail later on those sadly. Any advice message me. Td2 has grown a few inches only in 2 weeks but the buds are fattening up. The La Chems finally started stretching. I am guessing 3 or 4 weeks on td1 and 2 weeks after gc and la chems. We will see.

I love this strain. Really strong genetics. Nice fruity and og kush like smell. Cant wait to harvest and try them.

Day 79 Buds are super dense and are getting really frosty now. Day 80 Looking under a jewelers loupe the trichomes are mostly cloudy and at least half of the pistils are brown. Hopefully this is ready to chop in about a week? Day 83 Watered with a little more than a gallon of distilled water.

Smell Like Fruits

Hello everyone, Been busy but I shoot a little video for yall to see, also if growing is something you guys intended to do, I suggest you guys get yourselves a Digital Microscope or a jewlers loop. I just got myself a Digital Microscope for under $20.00 on Walmart.com, I got me a cheap one to start with so I can learn how to use it properly. But for under $20.00 this one brings 8 led lights, a adjustable mount, comes with 3 different connection choices build in, magnifies from 50-1000x, can take pictures and also videos and my favorite part, it connects right to my mobile device, you download and install a Google app and your ready to go, ill work with it and add pictures next week... Week 4:Got the new mammoth nova 720W light installed. Trying out the green spectrum. A few reviews said it has the ability to penetrate to the lower nodes because of the green. It’s definitely way hotter than my 300w Evo4 so having to adjust some things to manage heat. Outside temps 68-70 inside temps 75-77. I can get them down lower but have to open doors and keep fans at near max. Have it set at 8/10 at about 24 inches of height and so far adjusting well. Plants are starting to frost over and smells are mixed. 1/4 has a very skunky pheno the rest are way more pleasant and fruity. Excited to see the colors start to bleed through as the leaves are already showing signs of purple.

D29 Did top dressing with bone and kelp meal as well as worm castings. D31 Performed a little more LST, a few more days and I will let her do her thing. D32 More LST exposed lower nodes and evened out the canopy. D33 Removed all bonsai wire and rolled down the rim of the pot to even it out with to soil, more airflow. D35 Not much growth but overall looking pretty good. Heatwave last couple days keep temperatures higher than desired.

Day 117. Trim jail and heavy upload session for 24 hours at least. Don't like to keep photos, so ill upload each plant separately and will delete them. Phone camera is still cracked and off-focus, but they are all nice ! Day 128. I knew that those plants will be smallest, but Mini was in centre and her buds were still not nuggy nuggy ... sadf ..... #1 67, #2 68 , #3 75 , #4 56. 266 total . 836 from 720W is good, not my best, but good, just that airy quality .... Some of the plants started flowering this week. I surprised that there are so many different pheno types all Fast Buds seeds feminized autos. We’ll see how they turn out in the end.
