4/8 - They are doing great. PPFD at 800. Debating if I want to do CO2 this grow, because I could easily get 1000 PPFD out of this light. That means adding a dehumidifier to keep a sealed environment, but don't think there's enough of a cost benefit. Might just add more far red at lights on and lights off to try and get a little more vegetative stretch before I switch over to 12/12. Clock is ticking. Mother-in-law shows up 6/15, and I'll want it chopped by then. 4/8 - on further calculation, I'm switching to flower today. Never switched this early before, but we'll see how it goes, eh? 4/9 - prepping for vacation. Bought new 10 gal Roughneck storage container, mixed new nute mix 2:1:2. EC 1.40 with 0.3 tap water. 11ml of pH down to get PH from 6.4 to 5.8. Ditching the auto fill. Too high risk for flooding without flare fittings. Don't trust cheap-ass quick connect push fittings. 4/10 - turned off "seedling vpd mode" which kept humidity artificially high. Turned on 2nd bank of LED lights, so system is pulling about 370W with lights on, still significantly dimmed down. Turned on light cooling circ fan, which is a sealed aluminum labyrinth tied to two 4"vents. Although, almost all the heat this lamp generates is from radiation, not thermal loss of the LEDs, so the heat sink is barely warm. Lights up to 16" over canopy to allow growth while on vacation. Ppfd at canopy 800. Room temp 81, humidity 73. Auto water time is 30 sec per pot.

Raised the lamp about 10 cm to make sure that the girls don't get burned again. Week 1 went off perfectly, purples babies reaching WEEK 2! 😍 PRESENTATION OF THE LADIES 😍 ------------------------------------------ The four plants are the same genetic. But they already have a different look, and I would introduce them to you :) 1) The Ugly - She have terrible first leaves. But she isn't late compared to the other. So I still believe in my Ugly! 2) The fatties - 2 of them grew wide leaves. It's just about leaves shape for now. 3) The solar panel - This one grew less wide but longer leaves. Regarding the Ugly, I must say that for the 4 seeds, I had to manually remove the shell when they sprouted. They all had their shell on after sprouting, and I don't like that. Probably a bit old seeds? For now, they share the same needs, and seems all happy. But this might change. I may even not be abble to recognize them, except if I cheat on them by putting labels on their pots ^^ 💧 WATERING 💧 ------------------ Luckily, the weather is offering some rains, and I been abble to put the ladies out under the rain during day 7 and 8. Not that long, they still got watered on Day 8, some hours after the rain. With feeding for the first time! 🍗 FEEDING 🍗 ------------------ First feeding. Used Fish-mix at 0.8ml/L. I plan to have a second watering in the week, but without nutrients. That's why I written 0.4ml/L in diary settings. If you know me, you also know that I like Fish-mix, but that I'm also effraid of it ^^ As foliar later during veg, it's an awesome products, easy to see that plants love it. But it seems verry powerfull, and need to be used carefully when given to plant. My rule is to limit to 50% of recommended dose. For now. Anyway, Fishmix right after a rain must turn on every form of life in soil I believe 😀 Even life coming from rain. 🏡 GROWING CONDITIONS 🏡 ----------------------------------- Starting an indoor session on the end of summer seems a good choice for me: - Some rains that provide me better water - I can put the ladies out if verry sunny, to save electricity/money - Perfect temps in the grow room. My house is always windows open. ​The growroom lightup in the end of the afternoon, when the day get cooler - Plants will flowering indoor during winter. I need heat during winter, so thanks grow room :D And cold air mean verry dry air! So reaching low humidity on the end of flowering will be verry easy! Pests : Nothing to report for now. I'm expecting a visit of my good old friends the thrips in 2-3 weeks 😎 Grow tent & Light (XS2000 ViparSpectra) : Something I notice just now: I'm abble to close the grow tent without air-extraction. I never been abble to do that in the past. This light is waaaay more efficient, and produce way less heat, because I couldn't keep tent close with my previous Mars Hydro TSW2000. They're coming along nicely. 😁 Managed to get a 3rd bean to pop and I'm gonna get it rooted in soilless mix before giving her her own bucket but I'll flower them all at the same time so I'll probably just have a runt on my hands. 🤷‍♂️🏽

(I’m starting to try timelapsed videos of growth so lmk what you think) So I’ve added a little lst to #1(the one I topped) just to capitalize on it I guess. But they’re all doing really well at the end of week 4. I’m trying to get better with photos and documenting so bare with me but as for #3, I’m really impressed with how fast she’s gotten bushy and with how she’s taken to lst. I’m doing different things to different plants to see what I like and what works for me. #4 is my control and I’ve done nothing but water and feed and honestly, she’s still doing just fine 💪🏻

Tomorrow the lights will be switched off for the next two days and then they will be harvested at the weekend -13.09.2024 Today the lights will be switched off until Sunday and on Sunday both plants will be harvested -15.09.2024 The plants were harvested today and will hang in the box for the next two weeks before they go into jars. The humidity is 45% and the temperature is 22 degrees Celsius -22.09.2024 The plants continue to hang upside down in the box and dry. The air humidity is around 50%-65% but the fans are running 24/7, the fresh air supply and air circulation are very good so I'm not worried. If anything happens, I will update it here. Otherwise there will be an update when the plants are dry

Purple lemonade is harvest at roughly 30gram wet. Very small plant due to early stress. Smell is mild and lemony. Og kush is smelling nice and gassy and is considerably larger than the purple lemonade. Lots of accidental branch snapping which was saved with grafting tape with no leaf sagging and heals almost instantly. Mystery plant is still in veg.

I think this will probably be last week before El Chop Chop. Got some frost on now and things seem to be winding down. Pistills and leaves browning few ambers under the loop and water uptake slowing down considerably. Smell is lovely now as I get near the tent. Been good to make a diary again. :-)
