Woche 9 Blüte Woche 5 Die Money Maker von den Strain Hunters ist in der 5ten Blüte Woche angekommen. In dieser Woche habe ich an der Money Maker eine Entlaubung durchgeführt und habe viel große Blätter entfernt. An der Nährlösung habe ich in der Woche nix verändert. This week I’m introducing my plant stands. It is a carousel design. They are lightweight, independent and can be put on/removed during growth with little effort or at the time of setup. I’ve had this idea for years, tried to find anything similar to it on line without success. I designed and assembled it about 2 years ago. It’s very versatile, can be modified for various uses and sizes, allows you 360 degrees access to you plant by rotation, brings you the ability to grow in a sea of green environment. Netting can be any size you desire and rotates with the plant. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. Please take a look at my video this week that explains more. **The one on the plant now is actually designed for a 5 gallon bucket, I’ve simply modified it to work on this 2 gal bucket temporarily. This week she continues to outperform expectations and needed bracing because the weight of the flowers tipped her over. This was expected and remedied and all branches have now been spaced apart to allow bright lighting to penetrate deep into the plant. This is needed to mature out the lower buds. In another week I will cut back some more of the bigger leafs to allow even more light to get through. She continues to focus her energy on bud and trichome development (girth). The nutrient schedule has been updated as she is headed toward a late bloom cycle. Her smell is intensifying weekly. Maintain light power at 100% and PH at 6.24 I would highly recommend doing your own research on the blooming cycle. The change in nutrients is still controversial, but there is new and relevant studies that show of the main 3 NPK - K potassium was thought to boost flower production, the fact is this need on the plant remains relatively unchanged from vegetation through transition up to ripening. I continue to increase K in my schedule, but have started cutting back over this past year - up to 1/3 - without any noticeable difference. I have more that lends credibility to this theory I’ll explain next week. The case of bigger bud doesn’t mean anything special unless genetics and growth are in synergy. A quick note: I use General Hydroponics for nutrients and not this other one that is being listed, Terra Aquatica. I have no control over this update within Grow Diaries.

The grow was super easy, steady growth and sturdy strength, no deficiencies..fed 3/4 strength General Hydroponics nutrient line. Ended up topping her three times, giving her a total of 10 tops. Overall medium height with an amazing manifold and unbreakable stem. Harvested on day 65, an absolutely great strong structure being able to hold it's weight of 101 Grams⚖️️. An easy grow with an amazing taste, smell, and smoke. Recommended completely for all growers 💯

Well we finally got around to putting a gate on the hemp garden and today we are transplanting one of the ladies in the 1 gallon smart pots to a 5 gallon smart pot. For this process we placed about 3 inches of soil in the 5 gallon smart pot, then placed the 1 gallon smart pot with plant still inside on top of the soil. The next step was to start placing soil around the 1 gallon pot, so that it made sort of a mold. Once we got the soil where we wanted it, we removed the Queen Dream cultivar from the 1 gallon smart pot and placed it in the mold that was made in the soil. Finished up by adding some more soil and then watered the newly transplanted lady. No nutrients added this week.

Flower Week 7 Day 49 to 55 - 5/6 to 5/12 They both look very healthy this week. The calyx are swelling with maturing hairs, the pistols are orange, the trichomes are mostly white, and the leaves are fading/changing colors - still not ripe enough for me, but flushing with half nute feeds now. Feed this week was another auto pot reservoir flush feed at 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 400ppm of Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). And then, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0). PH balance this week was for 5.8 where I plan to maintain it until harvest. Next week will continue the same half nute feed. I will continue to monitor the signs of trichomes, pistols, and calyx for a better harvest and allow the buds to mature more.

Week 3 for the solo is officially complete. She's been growing with no trouble. Root development has been excellent. As you can see, I decided to mainline. Seeing as she's in a solo cup, I'm not too worried about stunting. I'm horrible at measuring the water intake, but the cup needs to be watered daily. It's as lite as a feather everyday.

This big girl Grapes an Cream from Atlas seeds is still the biggest one out of the 4 she has been blowing up with growth even after being topped a couple times still just impresses me with how great she's doing under this medic grow fold 6 loving these cultured biologix nutrients Ending week 5 this big girl is doing great has been thriving ever since I put her in her final 3 gallon pot

This girl was definitely one of the best looking plants I’ve ever grown, also outpaced all my other plants and didn’t have any problems like my others did Fast buds has clearly done a good job with the purple lemonade line huge yield this time at 138 grams plant finished around 34 inches from pot

Looks to me that the flowering transition has begun! I did some light defoliation, and LST. 1 Gallon dosage of the above listed nutrients lasts for about 3 days, before drying out, and ready for the next dosage!

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. I still think this plant is undersized. Leaves dying off now. Watering with tap water now as I've learnt my lesson - too much nutrients!
