I originally had applied to Green House Seed Co.'s Taste of the USA Contest here on Grow Diaries. Turns out I was ineligible but the good folks at GHS still had the big hearts to send me seeds anyway. So big ups to them for hooking this grower up. Welcome to the Sea of Fire 🔥 For this grow were using the Dark Phoenix seeds that GHS sent to me to create a Sea of Green. I've got 8 plants in 8 1L pots. I've decided to use Black Swallow's living soil for this grow so we won't need to add anything but water for the first 3 weeks or so. Our goal for this grow is to have these girls ready for harvest in about 20 weeks which will bring us to the beginning of November 2021. If all goes according to plan these firey buds should be filling my friends stockings this Christmas.

DAY 21 F: Hi all. Another productive week for the fast buds jungle and the #Fc3000 . The room is full of limbs , leaves and chunky stalks all rounded off with sexy little budlets dancing in the wind for me every time I open the tent . Makes me feel like Hugh Heffner !!!. All of the plants have finished their stretch totally now and a huge surprise has been the midget Mexican airline now being the same height as her sister. I expected her to stay smaller due to the past growing period ect.. but she has somehow hit the same height now. Her buds are not as advanced as the #2 M.a but time should change that too. #1 is forming some very nice looking open flowers now with bundles of fresh pistils to them too. Both of the six Shooter are looking productive in their different set ups. The #1 has reached around 2ft and has some very nice sites setting up now. #2 has been more spread horizontally and is a long distance from the light too. With the canopy height being dictated by the huge Strawberry Pie girls , I felt it would be a good way to see how far away the light can help develop buds rather than supercrop all the big girls for one squat lady. So far the amount of bud sites is promising and it does look as though they are getting enough to develop. Both of the Strawberry pie have really hit their peak with at least 2.5ft tops. Buds are for.ing nicely and the sides are also well developed and in good positions for their own light grabs. It does give hope of some bigger buds than the long node lengths would suggest. Let's see in a few weeks shall we. Lol They had a top dress of charge and life-cycle too to help boost the flowering stage a little. Soil is performing as expected and the watering is going well so far with no excesses either way . Until next time growmies , be safe and well.

Hello Diary. We have reached the 9th week, 6 weeks of flowering and I think we are nearing the end. My estimate is another week until harvest. I look the situation with trichomes every day, most of them are milky, when I notice that some brown ones appear here and there, it is time to harvest. Along with Sherbet Queen on the “Farm” are two Mimosa Auto, which have grown huge, over 110cm so it’s pretty crowded in the grow-box. That's why it became quite difficult for me to take them out of the grow box so as not to damage them. The color of the leaves slightly takes on a lighter green color which slowly becomes yellowish, the flowers are nicely filled, they are big and heavy so I had to connect the plant a bit to the stick and fabric pot to stabilize it and prevent the branches from cracking. The temperature was high this week, around 30 degrees, and this is caused by the great heat outside which was above average this week. Humidity is a little above 50%, which is more than would be ideal, the cause is also heat, so the soil evaporates more and releases moisture. I have two fans that blow for 24 hours and thus prevent the potential occurrence of mold or similar problems. Ventilation also works at maximum power. Watering is still every two days, and more or less that’s all that happened this week, I’m patiently waiting for the harvest. Here is a brief overview of the week. 11/07/2021 - Day 57. Watering. I always prepare about 8 liters of water, p.H I adjusted to 6.4 and watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 50% humidity. 13/07/2021 - Day 59. Watering. Same procedure as two days earlier. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 31 degrees and 55% humidity. 15/07/2021 - Day 61. Watering. p.H - 6.2 Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 53% humidity. 17/07/2021 - Day 63. Watering and photography. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 60% humidity. A few had issues with the 24 hrs light sa few plants were getting yellow tips resembling light burn. So I added a teaspoon of Epsom salt and coffee grounds. Looks like the plants have bounced back. That’s a sigh of relief!

9/2/25 Overall I'm delighted with these. 17 weeks grows for me are few & far between. These 2 phenos had 7 weeks in 2L pots. And were put into a 20L pot of coco/pebbles and gives 10-14 days to recover and were flipped. I purposely grew them this shape as I had to make sure I kept them apart if hit with WPM or anything like that. As grows these long, buds this dense. And running a tent with a bunch of mixed grows from done to days into the start of the 12-12 flip. I would have liked to run for another week on a 100w light and high doses of UV but because of such a mixed bag of grows in my tents. Running reds/uv just wasn't even attempted. 10/2 She smells absolutely amazing, buds are super big, sticky & very smelly. They're still mainly hard for the moment. And leaves not even limp. So, I removed the big fan leaves to allow air to move around better. They're hanging behind my 100cm2 tent kept out of UV rays.

Welcome to week 4 of flower!!! I expect the ladies to slow right down in the stretch and start to focus on fattening up those flower sites. The plants have been going hard since day 1 of flower and I expect they will continue to go hard until the very end! Day#25F Banana Smoothie is throwing off the wildest Banana Cream terpenes, the other plants are starting to throw smell too but not as hard as Banana Smoothie. Day#26F Lots of the flower tops are starting to put on mass now. Day#27F Pictures N/A. Creamy Cereal is deff pumping milk and fruit terpenes now. Day#28F Ladies are just cruising along and mostly starting to focus on flowers now. MacMelonz will still stretch for a week or so. With 6-7 weeks left it will be quite exciting to see the end results and the terpene profiles of each plant! Overall really happy and cant wait to see what next week brings!

I covered the basket with hydroton pebbles after this pic to prevent light leak into my reservoir. I also buried the rockwool to prevent algae growth. I rinse my clay pebbles with PH treated water to avoid reservoir contamination. The major structural issues is primarily due to the cold temperature of the water in my reservoir. It was hitting -30c temps outside. It took me a minute for it to set in that my reservoir temperature was the culprit. I had a water temperature regulator ordered; in the meantime, she kind suffers slow growth and wilting. DWC tip#2: If your water is cold, get a water warmer; Alternately, you will see if water is too hot, get a water chiller. Both extremes are really something you can’t ignore you should have a solution before germinating your seed.

Last days before chop. Limiting watering and reducing temp really boosted maturing. They ripened fast this last week. I’m glad o made it in time. Next update chop.

February 7th: I gave each plant 1 gallon of RO water pH'd to 6.53pH February 8th: 2.5ml FloraMicro, 1.5ml FloraGro, 2ml FloraBloom, 5ml Ripen. I made one gallon of feed water and gave each plant 1/2 gallon. February 10th: I gave each plant 3/4 of a gallon of RO water pH'd to 6.5pH. I will be harvesting these ladies on February 13th. I cut these ladies down on 2/13/2025, they are currently drying at 68 degrees/60% RH.
