* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 She has certainly been going through the beautiful stage of senescence and her fade is gorgeous. The purples and yellows coming out are great......covers up the brown spots😂😂 Her buds are densing this week as we work on bring down the humidity. Running in the mid 60’s for humidity late in flower is a different experience and one that takes some getting used to. Bring down further to low 50’s has really helped to bring out her frost as well. Kept the humidity high to form big buds......now lowering to make them more sticky👍👍 I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see how it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0ph - 8L given to get a good flush - Runoff in pots already were 7.8pH and 485ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.0pH and 370ppm. - she is 29” tall and 30” wide. - tricombs still mainly cloudy.....review again in couple of days. June 21/20 - Day 72 - Dry out day - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 - temps are nice outside so tent able to hold 75 degrees and 51% humidity. June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - She will be ready soon. Thinking darkness on Wednesday and harvest on Saturday?? June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting really pointy now and her leaves are very yellow. - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. More Incredible Developments this week! I started adding General Hydroponics Bud on the first watering of the third week of flower - it has resulted in some surprisingly big and fast growth over the past week. You can see from going to the previous week and this one, the bud sites seem to just getting fatter and searching out for their neighbors above and below them with the white pistils - I know I keep saying this but as a lifetime cannabis user, this is the first time I have had the opportunity to watch my own garden closely through the entire plants development and life cycle, and so far this is VERY exciting and entertaining to see the developments each day. The topping and LST techniques I used (no experience, only watching videos and researching) have resulted in my plants taking on almost a bowl or basket shape, where the outside branches have reached far far above the middle canopy during their "final stretch" or first week or two of flowering. Now, the middle of all of my plants have numerous smaller bud sites that are developing - I am looking forward to how the lower canopy buds develop! I am currently watering them every other day - 8 cups of water each. This past week I increased their water intake from 6 cups to 8 cups - So far I am seeing no sign of stress in any way shape or form - only VERY happy plants working on bulking up on their flowers. I plan on letting them do their thing and working on maintaining their environment so it stays consistent. Definitely a big increase in smell this week - the Cherry Gorilla x Sol Sonic seem to be moving along and bulking up a little more than the GMO. When picking leaves off the GMO, I can already start to smell and recognize hints of the tremendous gas garlic stank I have been looking forward to - Appreciate the Likes and Follows! Was really easy to tell when she was close to harvest. Pre flower lasted about 15 Days and quickly stopped growing at 67cm coming into 3rd week of flower and quickly got nice a fat. All pistils were Amber on day 30-32 of flower. Could of pult it on day 60 or around that. Was a nice plant to grow, as I said, just feed her right, she doesn't ask for much but a bit of light and a steady dose of feed with micro nutrients and your golden. You don't need a mad powerful light to get some nice bud quality. This plant spent most of flowering under my SF 1000 and there was no larf. And other plants grown at the same time as this has larfy/airy bud still not done yet at the end but with this lady she likes to come along altogether. Really solid genetics. Haven't had to do much in the way of harvesting, as I hung dry it whole so I haven't had to trim yet but she's super sticky, very sweet and pungent with an earthy, musky smell with fruity undertones that are crying to come out after a good 4-6 week cure. 2 MONTH UPDATE Well, hey there. Back to my runtz again. Just very closer creeping to be unlessed out into my puff box. I had to hold myself back. So, 2 months later. 20 little 3-5g jars. And the smell has just got really dank sweet smelling. Has dropped the earthy smell, and in it's place, is a slight citrus on the grind but still carries a heavy sweet taste that lingers on the your senses. I just wanna stick my head in a jar of this stuff. Yum yum yum. I'm gonna give it another month and I'll get back to ye with a decent smoke review, as I'm to high now. Thanks GFS. Your runtz has earned a place to be stored for that lonely night, when your mates are all home, 2am, can't sleep, but wait, "ggs remembers, there's still a nice big juicy runtz bud waiting to be puffed", wait what, just 1 bud, "actually yeah, let's have a jar", sure why not, today ends in a Y right!!. Oct/11/22 3 month cure update Wow, what a bud. So, 3 months in..and boy o boy. Has she released her goodness. I wish you could change the ratings. As bud changes upon a long cure. So, there's this really sweet, kinda damp musky citrus smell..the citrus really has taken over the bulk of the smell though. The sweet part is like tropical fruits. (All different kinds) as you grind it, a burst of sweet smelling dank musk, with all little small background scents are there. But she is dominated by a citrus, sweet dank musk smell, (im sorry, its the only way I can explain it) , it's really hard to describe. She has such a deep aroma that even thr most seasoned grower would find it had to compliment this auto. She really is in a class of her own guys. She's dank, very sweet, has a lovely citrus twang with all different flavours going on in your mouth. It's like a party in there. The smoke on the vape has only enhanced it. It's lovely and creamy on the inhale while tasting the citrus burst along with that dank almost earthy musky taste, that compliments the sweetness very very well. As for the stone. It gives a real nice uplifting happy feeling. But as you vape on. I felt my eyes getting heavy and couch lock kicked in. The grows was done in day 65, but I gave it another 5 days or so, to get said affect. And man, on the vape, the stone is amazing. Best stone so far from any auto I've grown. And I'm not just saying that. And also, it tastes lovely to vape. As, I normally just roll doubles with weed, no tobacco. "Yuck". So, I will for sure, be growing this gal again. I have another pheno from this strain.. that's 3 months curing also. Also tastes very similar, bit more harsh but, still lovely.

Very very happy with how this came out, I saved a branch and some smalls to smoke myself and filled an entire gallon bag to be put towards fresh frozen bubble and eventually into sum amazing rosin!

Smoke report! The smoke is heavenly! Tastes like a dessert for real! Get hints of vanilla and nutmeg with a proper shortbread or cookie flavour with earthy tones! The high! One for the end of the day! Euphoric feels with giggles like everything becomes funnny lol with deep body effects with feelings of can’t be botheredness 😂 Loved growing this plant especially when I revived her from a bad mistake! she can be trained a lot and suggest only topping once! I gave her a wet trim and dried in brown paper bags in temps of 20c-23c humidity was 60+ never 70 and dried in 7 days! First taste was amazing she literally tastes like a pudding/dessert tones of vanilla and almonds with a shortbread or cookie type flavour with earthy tones! Can’t wait to see what she’s like after a 4 week cure in jars with 58% boveda! She’s fire would defiantly suggest her and the 10L pot was perfect! it’s already growing again so I’m glad I germed another! 12 out of 10 gromies 🔥🔥🔥🔥
