I had to remove some yellowing leaves... I am not sure if the plant is just too tightly packed around the edges or if I am not feeding her enough nutrients. I have started giving her BioBizz Grow (1st last night) since I've read it is mostly just molasses and should be supplied not only during "growth" - e.g. the vegetative phase. On the buds - the leave edges have started to turn a nice shade of purple. I usually only water exactly the required amount - so 1l for my 15l pot. At the beginning of this week I decided to do a small flush - as per grow question recommendation. I only used 25l to my not completely full 15l pot (I am guessing 10-12l earth) with rain-water and checked the runoff: PH=6. PPM dropped from 1800 to <400ppm at the end. She has started to smell very tropical the last few days... With humidity levels hitting 80% outside - my little 25W dehumidifier can't keep up... I keep my fans on and hope for the best. Soil is still wet from the flush - might try the Seedhunter's recommendation and not water for 5 days. Looking back - I really should have noticed the whitening tips 2 weeks ago... last week I should have made the connection of "burnt leaf tips = overfeeding" - but nooo. =) I have been making the same mistake as with my last grow - I watered exactly what she was drinking... 1l/24h. So salt could build up and the magic marker is 10 weeks. This is when "watering wrong" shows... Day 87 (Friday): still no signs of drought stress so I will water with low nutrients maybe tomorrow... I got this tipp from Greenhouse Seed Co. / Seedhunters plus check this out if you are coming from academia: https://www.cannabisbusinesstimes.com/article/3-tips-for-controlled-drought-stress-cannabis/ The tropical smell is noticeably less now... Day 88: watered for the first time after 5 days with ~3l of rain water - and some nutrients. There is a lot more purple on the upper leaves now.

Greetings, fellow cultivators! Today, I'm thrilled to share the grand finale of our journey with the remarkable Big Cheese Auto from Seeds Mafia. At day 81 from seed, she reached the pinnacle of her splendor, and the harvest was nothing short of spectacular. As I gently snipped each ripe bud, I couldn't help but marvel at the beauty and resilience of our Big Cheese Auto. From the moment she emerged as a seedling, she embodied strength, vigor, and an unwavering determination to flourish. Now, as she hangs upside down to dry for the next two weeks, I'm filled with a profound sense of gratitude for the privilege of witnessing her growth. Our journey with the Big Cheese Auto has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the excitement of germination to the meticulous care during vegetative growth, from the anticipation of flowering to the aromatic crescendo of the harvest, each phase has been a testament to the plant's resilience and the joy of cultivation. The journey began with a tiny seed, a promise of potential waiting to be fulfilled. With the nurturing support of the Autopot system and the guidance of Aptus Holland's nutrients, our Big Cheese Auto thrived, transforming into a botanical marvel with each passing week. From the emergence of her first true leaves to the explosion of trichome-rich buds, she captivated us at every turn. A heartfelt thank you to Seeds Mafia for providing the genetics that sparked this incredible journey. Your seeds have not only produced exceptional plants but have also inspired a community of passionate cultivators. Your dedication to quality and innovation is truly commendable, and I am grateful for the opportunity to cultivate such remarkable genetics. This week I made a couple of changes. 1st, I moved the time lapse camera to the other side of the tent and set it to take a pic every 10 mins instead of 5. Then on Monday, I started with the nutes and since now I had to mix them up, I decided to test an auto watering system using a fountain pump and a plant watering kit with hoses and tips that I got at a dollar store no less. Still a growing curve to get the right amounts, as you will see in the time lapse I had a little spill over in one pot. I will play with them more this week to fine tune the amount, then set it on timer and just keep filling the bucket and testing the ph. So far the girls are getting bigger and I ordered a net from Amazon to try the ScrOG method as they get bigger still to keep the height down and spread them out some more and eventually get a better yield at harvest time. I am also going to do a little topping this coming week. I also added an air bubble stone to the bucket to keep the nutes mixed up.

Building the RDWC set up was quite the process. A couple minor leaks, but I was able to take care of them. I'm now 11/11 in rapid rooters so I won't suggest anything else. No pre germination. I prepared the rooters, put the seeds in, and 3 days later they came up. This is my 3rd run using the same batch of 50 rapid rooters. I freeze the extras and pull them out a day before use. Thanks for stopping by! 😎

Explosion part 3! This plant is considered Autoflowering, but I would say is most likely a regular one! She is just HUUUGE, hopefully I was able to stop her growing but side branches reached the 83cm and almost touching the LED... I've introduced Bloombastic (0.5ml per liter) and I will gradually increase till 1.5ml per liter and stop when will be time to flush. Buds are getting bigger but I'm thinking that she will need at least 3 more full weeks... Hopefully with some good results at the end! I obligatory defoliated her and also removed some small side branches, without any stress encountered. I'll keep you guys posted, stay tuned, stay high!

~ GG4 SHERBET FAST FLOWER by FastBuds ~ Well fam, here we go again with another epic strain from FastBuds Fast Flowering stable. After having such tremendous success growing their Gorilla Cookies Fast Flower outdoors last year, I've decided to run another of their fast flowering strains outdoors this year... GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower! The best description of this awesome cultivar comes directly from my friends at FastBuds which is as follows: "Bred from extremely potent and flavorful Gorilla Glue and Orange Sherbet genetics, GG4 Sherbet FF (Fast-Flowering) takes all the best traits to the next level, offering a high-yielding strain that can produce up to 600 g/m2 in a 7-week flowering time. This super resilient Indica-leaning hybrid thrives indoors and outdoors, and in all types of climates while producing mouth-watering sweet, fruity, spicy and earthy terps that translate into a delicious sugary hazelnut aroma. Expect an extremely relaxing and overall happy effect that’ll leave you with a huge smile from ear to ear. It’s the perfect strain for growers of all levels of experience seeking low-maintenance yet highly productive photoperiod varieties that deliver quality and quantity without extra effort. GG4 Sherbet FF grows chunky buds with long dark orange hairs and spade-shaped calyxes that get encrusted with trichomes by harvest time, giving them a gorgeous silvery-white appearance. This medium-sized photoperiod can reach up to 200 cm in height and yields up to 650 g/m2 while developing that typical hybrid structure. GG4 Sherbet FF grows with a stocky, bushy appearance, developing one sturdy main cola and fat side branches that support huge yields without much effort. This super-fast variety produces distinctive light-green buds with a high bud-to-leaf ratio, making your trimming sessions a breeze. It’s a top-notch resin producer that doesn’t need much maintenance and will thrive in almost every climate, rewarding growers of all levels with extremely flavorful resin that makes for outstanding hash end extracts." ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower indoors as our weather is still too cold to put her outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 30's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 8/2- Here we go into Week Three of flower for the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower from FastBuds and this lady is kickin butt and taking names! She has flowers sprouting out, it seems, from everywhere! I did dive into the middle of her canopy and removed a dozen or so small, scraggly shoots that would have only drawn nutrients that are better served elsewhere on the plant! 8/4- Our weather continues to be hot and humid. I am continuing with my daily watering routine, watering in the late afternoon after the sun sets. I went through the underside of the GG4 Sherbet FF and removed some shade leaves that were either dead and brown or all yellow, and basically gave the entire plant a good look over to spot any issues that may arise as early as possible. If any issues are identified, it's a lot easier to cure them when they are spotted early! 8/6- We finally have some much needed rain on the way in the way of a tropical system which will be bringing on and off showers beginning tomorrow through the 9th. As a result of this gift from above I will not have to water the rest of this week! 8/8- Well there's three full weeks in flower for the GG4 Sherbet FF and she's continuing on course to be another epic result from FastBuds genetics! Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! 💚Growers Love!💚😎🙏

12/8: Fed today. 12/10: Very busy with life..seeing more pistils... finally... Sprayed them with Microlife Maximum blooms right before dark. 12/12: Fed today. Pulled everybody out of the closet and took some photos. Did some supercropping and raised the lights... 12/15: Had to raise the lights again...only 3 inches left, then I'm limited to supercropping for height control...

The plants seemed to recover very well this week from the nutrient burn last week. I did a defoliation on some of the odd nodes of the Dominican Republic to free up some wasted energy. The ppm was still reading a little high on each so I didn't feed them and just flushed them back to appropriate values. My grow light was finally cleared through customs and I added it to supplement the light issues which the plants seemed to respond very nicely too. Halfway through the week I applied some foliar spray and it really improved the colour and health of the plants. Lastly I topped each plant to resume progress on the mainlining and they should each reach 4 healthy lines within the new week.
