Day 21: First topping. Happy to removed the light-stressed part of the plant from the equation if only for cosmetic reasons. I waited for 5 nodes before the topping. Day 22: Godammit, the light failed again. Turned it off and waited for it to cool down. Turned it back on and it worked. Lost 1 hour of light. Day 23: Because of previous light stress and canopy temperature, I felt that 35cm is a good distance for the light. Day 25: First LST on the new growth tips. Started the mainline. Day 26: Again the light is failing to come on. I rewired once again, cursing my very existence, and it worked again. Again lost an hour of light in the morning. Continued refining the LST, and seeing how far I can push it. Noticed a slight tear at the base of one of the mains. Since the plant energy is coming from below and there is no noticeable affect on growth I'm going to ignore it. Checked the roots - look healthy. Though the new growth tips are not completely symmetrical, those leaves look good enough to eat. Trimmed the excess fan leaves. Topped up with a small amount of nutrients. Day 27: light didn't come on again. I rewired again, but this time it was stone cold refusing to do anything. Again I cursed my existence and all of life. Returned to grow store, turns out bulb was defective after all. Again lost 4 hours of light. But at least now I know the problem is solved. Rene at the grow store is a champ though, very helpful guy. The new bulb is noticeably brighter also. Maybe this was affecting growth? Also once this issue was fixed, I noticed some small amount of nutrient burn on the leaves tips. Rebalanced nutrients. Was 1.9 mS/m lowered to 1.65 mS/m, then to 1.48 mS/m. Must be more careful in future when upping the dosage but the water conductivity is now less than before (1.55 mS/m) so this should be ok. Also lowered pH of water slightly since it was 6.0. It's currently showing 5.2 but experience has taught me that this measurement will comfortably go back up to 5.7. water pH is seemingly constantly rising as the plant grows, and adjusting pH is really more art than science. (Edit: It was 5.7 the next morning, so ya ... )

Finally in full flower mode. Ready to start putting on some serious size. I turned the lights up to 80% a couple days ago and they both are taking it well. No light burn yet that I notice. I'm not sure if I should start bringing the lights closer at 80% or keep the distance but instead Increase power to 90%. Going to feel it out as we go. Happy so far for sure. Update: increased light to 100% . No lead burns or weird looking leaves yet.. Just bulking up and very thirsty! Doing a nutrient/nutrient/water feeding schedule now.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had thunderstorms and rain in the morning followed by sunshine. Day 2 we had rain in the morning followed by sunshine, then thunderstorms that night. Day 3 we had rain and thunderstorms that morning and intermittently throughout the day. Day 4 we had rain in the morning and cloudy until the evening when the sun came out. Day 5 we had rain in the morning then mostly cloudy until the late afternoon. Day 5 we had sunshine and clear skies until the afternoon. Around 4:00 pm a severe thunderstorm hit. It produced strong winds, heavy rain, and grape sized hail. Fortunately the hail lasted only a few minutes and only damages some leaves. Day 6 we had sunshine, but cooler temperatures in the mid 70's. Day 7 we had rain and thunderstorms through the previous night and into the morning. We had sunshine, clear skies, and temperatures in the upper 70's. That was followed by severe thunderstorms, rain, and a touch of hail from 4p.m. to 6p.m. The weather has been challenging this week. Rain everyday or night and lots of it. The rain on night 6 and morning 7 has started turning the hairs of TCA2 top bud brown. There's no softness and I hope it's not the start of rot. These fastbuds have taken a beating from the rain and there's more in the forecast. Other than the rain the buds are starting to smell and grow. Overall it was a successful week.

1st week of veg not much to say no feeding. no watering other than when it was first sprouted leaves standing strong nice colour. Gonna be a short veg. Of 3 weeks before I flip the beauty just need her big enough to take a couple clones . Only second grow ever gonna try organic for the whole grow as I already am organic in flowering stage

Week just starting off and the one baby has still not broken thru so I take matters into my own hands and attempt emergency surgery!!! I sanitized a Raw loader stick and gently pulled the sprout up. It laid over after and I'm going to give it a few hours before I try to put something to hold it up if it doesn't manage to orient properly. Any advice would be appreciated, This week just started so will edit it throughout the week.. 11/18 Transplanted into 1ga pots and gave first n00tz FF 3tsp/GA Big Bloom. 11/19 Ok so my humidy has been plumiting to 33-36% so I tried putting a rag over a fan, putting a rag in a bowl over the inlet and nothing helped so I went to amazon and bought this! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08GQZDS9J It has a gallon or so tank and a humidity sensor so it cycles to maintain humidity. 11/20 Anyways humidifier shows up today and I kicked it up to 80% and its about 70% after 4 hours.. I'll drop it down once the babies get to growing a bit more. I'm actually worried I transplanted too soon. Shout out to my boy Jeff! And a smaller shout out to James! 11/22 So no real changes the last few days, the plants still aren't thirsty so holding off on that. I did rearrange grow tent to allow me to set up a camera to capture time lapse of the process and I had to get some power to it so it doesn't cut off when the lights go out hehe. I mean all is well I guess, I'm still concerned bout my little plants and the one with the crooked stem. Although I'm thinking the more I keep hands off right now the better chance they'll have! Wish me (and my babies) luck! 11/24 So everything looks smooth, today I uploaded a time lapse of the last couple days which if you speed thru it can see movement of the plants which is cool, but I'm stressing that my 3 way meter isn't correct. Its reading like 6-7 on moisture scale after about 7 days of being on the same water/feeding. I am anxious to water again but don't want to overwater...I mean I do feel some moistness if I press down on the soil. I'm quickly learning this is a great means to work on your patience!!! Oh and I'm rapidly losing hope for the bent girl, so sad.

Well she has made day 42. I have been adding and moving some bud clips around on her. I have also been twisting and bending the stems. She only had 1 good watering in the past 7 days.

By now, everyone knows I use the whole lineup of FRONT ROW AG Nutrients. They do not sponsor me and neither does anyone else…and I like it that way. The last 2 weeks I have hammered them with the Bloom. I followed their nutrient schedule and then raised the EC to around 2.4 by adding straight bloom. All nutrients were then PH’d to 5.5-5.6. This week and next nutrients will be on normal feed off of Front row’s feed chart. Then flush. This week was amazing. The single plant that was lagging behind has caught up to the rest in the room. Probably 2-3 weeks left on the whole room. This week, til finish, temps will be lowered to 77 during the day and 65 at night. I feel this is very important to get a good crust of trichromes on the plants. It will work! Thanks to everyone who has been sticking around. Hello Everyone and welcome back! Its been another tough week so I hope you are all hanging in there safe. So in this week at the start I did a pretty good defoliation to allow more light penetration and to clean up the lowers on the plant. By the time I took these pics it is hardly noticeable. During this week I also did two waterings. The first was 20L of water with 3tsp freeze dried coconut and 3 tbsp of microbial mass. The 2nd was 20L of water with 1/8 tsp of sulphate of potash, 3 tsp coconut, 50ml liquid kelp and 4 grams of TM7 Ful-Humix. After this most likely I will only use the freeze dried coconut for the remainder of flower. Its really cool to see the flowers develop and watch them start to swell. While they were younger I had added a few bamboo poles but I added 2 to each pot trying to stick to the outsides of the pot as I did it to not damage the roots too much. I think they will get heavy enough to need support so I am trying to be proactive to protect them. The flowers have a pretty great smell happening when I open up the tent.
