The smell is really starting to come in. Bought 2 sets of 80 mm internal fans to increase the airflow through the plant and in the box. Many of the lower leaves are curling down and I think it was a mixture of the high morning humidity and the lack of air flow. Now there are 5 internal fans and a large external fan, and it should be more than enough air flow. Growth is starting to slow finally, the height is perfect right now but I have a feeling it’s going to keep getting taller. I keep tying her down as best as I can.

Day 84:These girls are so close now that I expect the next update to be one for the drying period. The Los #1 is a totally different colour in her ripening to the other 2. She feels like she has biscuit crumbs all over her now too. Her smell is so fresh fruit and I do think days are her time left now. The #2 has continued to swell he buds for the finish and she is colouring up nice too. #3 The poorly girl is steady in her ripening now and the buds are rock solid too. They all have a very fruity smell to them now and it hits me everytime I open the flap. They are on water now for their last few days , just to signal them to start using their leaves for their last feeds. peace and blessings.

All in all this was an amazing harvest I usually have around 8-10 plants and harvest anywhere from 24-36 ozs per harvest with the 8 plants I had this harvest including the biscotti mintz and cookies USA I ended up with 898g total dry weight with all top quality flower. The ladies are hungry! Going from 4 liters of nutes + water per plant, to 6 liters per plant per week (extra feed started on week 5). Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. Week 3 update and all systems go for launch. We’re flipping to flower exactly 21 days from seed and so far, the mix looks to be impressive. Counting about 4 males (one that won’t make the cut), 2 indica leaning phenos and the rest are sativa leaning. Side branching has also been impressive so we should be able to pull some rootable cuts within the next week or two. If we got the sexes right (it is a little early to be certain), then the dutchy cabinet will be full up for bud testing👍. Next week will tell the tale🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Towards the end of the harvest, mold developed due to high temperature and humidity. I lost about 30% of my harvest. The buds did not fully mature. Despite all the setbacks, we managed to get a harvest.

The plants continue to kick ass. New French Macaron and Chem Brulee leaves are all 9-fingered now. Crazy happy plants. Sprayed with light BT spray (trying to avoid any caterpillar issues this year as much as possible) early in the week. Sprayed with light Neem Oil / Castile Soap (no more dawn, no more issues!) late in the week. Today, June 9, I also defoliated a bit. Keep in mind that I don't want to do much this year as far as topping and training, so I've done one simple top on all of the plants, and essentially have created 4 main colas for each plant. I only did this to create some airflow under the plant. I don't plan on doing a lot of this stuff. Gonna let the sunshine do her thing. Even though these girls have some hot-ass super soil in there, I'm still going to be doing some top-dressing. Mixed this up and slathered it on there on Saturday, June 12. ------
