Scandic They have now all sprouted. So i guess this is week 1. :-) Day 3: Until now I only watered around where I planted the seeds since their roots wouldnt reach anywhere else for now but on.. Day 4: I gave each plant about 0.7L water to each pot to moisture all the earth. I may think I should have given them more since they are in such big pots. So thats something I will have to keep an eye out for. Day 5: I moved the lamp from 60cm to 55cm because I dont want them to stretch and I want to maximise their potential. Also trying to raise the humidity. It sometimes drop to just below 50% if I dont help increase it. Fat Banana Automatic from Royal Queen Seeds.

Scandic Using plastic bags to raise the humidity to around 75% cause its only 50-60% in the tent if i really try to raise it with spraybottles and such. But for now this works and i think they look good here on Day 7. Which i will consider as beginning of week 2! Day 9 - 28 August: They grown a couple cm more and is more bushier now. I wont post pics before week 3 though. Its looking fine though. Gave 2/4 nutrients today. To see the difference on the 2 which got and the 2 which didnt get or didnt get as much atleast. And I topdressed the grounf of two of the plants with a bit of Bat guano which should help later in flower and with alot of P. (3-15-4) Also manage the temperature better now. Still trying to find out the best lamp distance though? Any suggestions from people who know the SF1000D? Thanks!

Scandic Day 14: (start of week 3) They are growing great and I know that they will grow even more the next week, so I’m excited and hoping everything will go well. I will soon start LST but they still too short and compact for me to do anything. But I will update during the week here in this section. Day 15: LST begins Day 16: Fimmed one (plant 3) which I couldn’t do LST to. Day 19 I had to flush all plants because my runoff was too acidic (5,5ph). Now it should be around 6,2 again. Couldnt see any defficiancies though and all plants look healthy. One even grew too much and its the one I havnt been able to do LST on that much, so I topped it. So I now have one plant topped, one plant F.I.M, and two plants has only been done LST to. I took away one or two leafs total which was blocking bud sites too. I want more top shoots and as even canopy as possible. But im missing some LST clippers which would have helped me alot. Im now just freestyling it with tape etc.

So I just checked my plants runoff and its 5,5. So I flushed it with water ph´ed at around 7,5 to buffer it to around 6,2 where I stopped. I have not watered with water less than 6 in PH, so why is this happening? My PPM was also waay too high. Plants looking fine though

I assume that u,re a soil grower, so there is a thing Dont measure soil ppm it,s usless Change in ph due to anions an cations (def or overfeed)

Scandic Day 21 from seed. Start of week 4. One plant is topped. One plant is F.I.M. And two has only been trained with low stress training. I had to flush all 4 plants cause my PH was way off. And since im using synthetic fertilisers, I suspect that was the cause. So i raised the PH to around 6.2 again now in my runoff. Day 23 Fighting the High humidity. Im on 60-65%. I rather be between 50% and 60% at this moment. But as long as I can get it down when flowering starts. I also raised the light hours from 18/6 to 19/5 last week and today on day 23 i raised it to 20 hours of daily light. That should also help me from getting the humidity too high since its when the lights are off, the humidity in tent raises. Beside that, they are beginning to fill out the space and im slowly seeing signs of flower on some of them. But I hope they will be in flower next weeks Update. I hope i can finish them all with the space i have. Thats why im doing LST and defoliation also. Beside it being beneficial for yield and so on. Day 24 A day with around 60% humidity and 25c. I have seen signs of flowering on them all now. So next week will be week 1 of flower (BTW: The PPM is what I read from my runoff water. I only feed with around 6-700ppm atm.) Day 25 Defoliated the plants today (bigger fan leaves in the top and small budsites which I dont want the plant to waste energy on and I lollipoped one plant too where i removed the bottom 1/3. I like to try different things to compare in the end. And I will share my results towards the end. Day 26 Defoliated all plants cause they were touching eachother more than I like. They are growing good but I thought they would be taller now. But im also keeping them low on purpose. They about 25cm i think.

Im pushing the limits with my feeding, im giving around 600ppm but my runoff is around 1050ppm. One plant doesnt like it. But before I give her a week of only PHed water, I want to make sure my diagnose is correct. What should I do with her? One week off?

Blah. Hmmmm. So when you water with fertilizer you add salt ions to the medium. If the water dries up or evaporates before the salt is used it stays in the medium and will contribute to the Electrical conductivity of the medium the next time you add more it jist accumulates until your leaf tips start to show damage from osmotic stress. The slight curling up of your leaf margins tells me she is using water faster than it's available during a cycle. She is at some point running out of water to maintain cooling for the entire plant so she begins to sacrifice the edges of the margin tips as water is running low. The medium, can only handle so much salt ions at once. Don't do a week of starvation that might trigger autophagy. Buy your self a EC soil metre, measure your soil ec, use that reading to determine whether to water or add more fert. Adding more salts to a medium that is already at 1.8ms/cm is not good for anything. Flush, reset, refeed, make sure she isn't running not of water at end of long day. Medium should always stay between 0.3ms/cm and 1.8ms/cm to avoid tips getting damaged. Whenever your medium get low add more salts. But never exceed 1.8ms/cm.

Scandic Day 28 from seed and the first week of flower! I finally got things dialed back in and the plants should thrive this coming week. 2 out of 4 have a little nutrient burn but I just watered them all with normal water with the PH of about 6,6. Run off was 6-700 ppm which im happy with. PH about 6,5 🙏 Next water will be a feed. And then ill water again and then feed. But offcause watching the plants reaction meanwhile. Will update during the week. Comment if you have any tips for me! Still fighting with my humidity. And i Got another SF1000D LED lamp from spider farm on the way. To give the plants some extra light here in the flower time.
