Was a pretty smooth week for most the girls. Showing some steady growth. I topped all of the plants around day 12 other than the slurricane 7. Ph got a little high since the nutrient level was too low to buffer it at the beginning of the week. Slurricane 7 and sugar cane are the ones that took some damage. I think they will be ok though. I upped the nutrients to 1/4 tsp per gallon and the ph has held stable since then. Should be able to start some training the middle of next week and looks like we might be going 2 more weeks on veg before flipping them to flower depending on how this upcoming week goes. Guess you will have to show up next week to find out...

She's looking really good so far and the smell she leaves on your hands after handling her, incredible! Her old fan leaves are dropping off and today is the last day I feed her nutes. It'll just be flushing from now on and checking in on the trichomes every once in a while.

Week 18 Middle August : weather is changing. Return of heat and humidity: 28 degrees, a little bit rain. A heat wave is coming but near the ocean the maximum will be around 32 degrees. It鈥檚 good to grow in greenhouse during this period : -ventilation control: I adapted the rythme: for now it鈥檚 around 18h/24h intermittently -pests and diseases control: insect鈥檚 traps natural and artificial, less heat -humidity control: no rain problem Daylight 14h: 7h/21h Flowering time 馃榿. Healthy plant, beautiful green color, just a few yellow leaves on the base. More watering: 1,5L every 60 hours Same cocktail: Calmag (0,5ml/L)+ FloraGro (2ml/L), FloraMicro (2ml/L), FloraBloom (1ml/L) + Root booster + Cannazym Feeding soil with guano bat (NPK 3/6/10) for a slow dispersion + dried horn and blood (NOK 13/0/0) for nitrogen add. Protecting plant: sprayed Neem Oil, added diatomaceous earth on soil. I will make a defoliation soon.

Start of week 3 looking good starting to get frosty fan leaves which has never happened in my soil grows so this is very interesting. Definitely enjoying the ease of this system it's almost annoying how easy it is. And floraflex has been a dream of a fertilizer holds pH very well not chasing the pH constantly. All I do is top off 33% strength nutrient solution once a week, 33% strength silica calmag and hydroguard once a week then top off with just regular pH tap water. Water from my tap is 98 ppm so I'm not worried about getting a ro system.

12/31: Two of them are doing well, but the 3rd is doomed I think. Glad I started an extra #11! Today was the first day in which I fed them some Big Bloom and Boomerang along with humic acid, pH'd to 6.1. 1/3: I've been letting them dry out a bit for the last two days. They've got roots coming out the bottoms now...I'll probably transplant them into 5 gallon fabric pots tomorrow or the next day. I ordered a 4' 180w tube light with 578 LEDs..it has a 360 degree beam with 3000k and a bunch of 660nm. It's waterproof, so no worries about keeping it beneath my canopy to illuminate the lower branches and hopefully increase the density of those buds that never get much top-lighting. Today, I mounted my two new 24w UVA LED lights (395-405nm) to my frame. I'll run them 6 hours a day from the time I put the plants into my closet, until harvest. It is my understanding that exposure to UVA, particularly during the vegetative stage, triggers many different plant defense hormones, which speed growth and can increase heartiness to withstand constant exposure to UVB without suffering as much cellular damage as usual. I'm also ordering a 2' Solacure FlowerPower UVB (285nm-310nm) next week to use during flowering to stress the plants and increase trichome production. 1/4: I did a few foliar feedings with big bloom and fulvic acid today. 1/5: Weird...the one I thought would die, still hasn't. Her second set of leaves died, but the third is starting to grow? Transplanting day. I dusted their roots with magic dust and transplanted them into 5 gallon pots today. I had some excellent compost with biochar and myco that I mixed into their soil, too. I watered them in with about 2 quarts each of their first taste of full strength veg nutes, plus mycorrhizal fungi, trichoderma, beneficial bacteria, and humic acid, then I sprayed them with biotabs boomboom spray when finished. The were moved into the closet under the quantum boards, UVA's, and a pair of Miracle LED blue bulbs. I'll start adding far-red spectra to the equation in the next few days.

She rocketed up! Given her some LST to stretch her out and topped her one last time just before. Will be flipping in the next week or so, she鈥檚 got big internodal spacing, so this has helped her gain some more veg on her. Nothing fed other than a compost tea - the soil is doing totally fine without anything more added in yet.

Pheno #1: Bud structure remains airy, but trichomes are steadily increasing Pheno #2: Medium-density compact buds, showing traits reminiscent of the Banana lineage The grow room is starting to fill with a stronger aroma as the plants enter the bud-building phase. Exciting progress ahead鈥攖hank you for following along!

Week 3-4 Got plenty of rain over the weekend so I'm sure I won't have to water for a few days. The plants have a nice natural canopy of trees above the greenhouse and we decided to take the roof part of the greenhouse off so the plants can breathe and get adequate air flow. I have the fans blowing on them to keep air circulating to strengthen the stem and to keep pests from landing. The sun makes the plants look yellow in the video, they are not yellow anywhere just to be clear. They seem to be doing great but this is my first rodeo and my sister who has experience seems to think they are coming along nicely and should do just fine. Let's hope so 馃
