Commencing Week 10 - 2nd week of flowering - Day 64 from germination - Day 14 of 12/12 on December 26th All is awesome! 😁 Although all plants have hairs right now, 818#1&2, BH2, & GZ2 (especially 818s) seem to start throwing hairs just a few days before the rest. RD is stretching out rather nicely and is working in sync to make a nice level and full canopy. Have noticed the pH of the nutrient solution now swings very low with every plant, especially the bigger ones, within 24 hrs going from 5.8 down to 3.8-4.3. I pH back up accordingly every day. Lastly I decided to go with "bonsai" training instead of topping. (This is in order to keep plants growing at a steady pace - non-stunting - while taking away the apical shape that is natural for some strains.). I "bonsai'd" The following: GZ1&2&3, AND 818#1. Simply put I coiled bonsai wire around the main cola and bent below the next lowest node /tier (see photos) The other s: RD, BH 1&2, and 818#2 have a natural level/close to level shape. D.65/15 Started tucking leaves and light stress training. So far I have taken only 3-4 leaves off per plant. And other than coiled the Apex cola they are been untouched. Also to balance out the pH drop, I have been pHing to the 6.0-6.2 range. Seems to steady the solution better so I will continue. Lastly I have put both the fans and the oxygen pumps on a 15m on 15 m off interval throughout the 24 hr day. I thought it might be risky however the plants seem not to mind, rather maybe even like this better. D.69/19 Yesterday I added a tiny bit of bloom food high in phosphate to help with the flowering since it's picking up now, as well as some extra Cal Mag and the plants seem happier because of it. And I have still been putting the pH a little higher, in the 6.1 range, rather than a 5.8 since it seems to be dipping low every time I check rather than going up. Also I put these pumps back on 24 hrs per day because after two days of being on for 12 hours her day they seemed not as happy as they were prior. Lesson learned with that one no harm done so that's a good thing. The raspberry diesel is really taking up the space wonderfully in between the four plants in the corners and is becoming almost + shaped really filling in the canopy just like the description online says don't vegfor long because the flower phase stretch is something to behold. 818 headband number one has a really beautiful medium sized stature not too short but not tall and lanky either and tons of Bud sites and is looking the most bud-filled already whether that means it will have the most yield or be done the fastest, or both we'll have to wait and see., All three of the Gorilla Zkittles seem to have slightly different phenotype variation one a little bit more sativa than the other two that are more hybrid looking. All 3 have very different root masses compared to the rest of the plants and are pretty big but one in particular is absolutely huge. (Comparisons will be posted in next week's update.) the Boss hogs also seem to have very different phenotype expressions as of now one is staying much more short and having a very level canopy naturally and no hairs, while the other is close to a level canopy but still has a little bit of that main cola dominant feature as well as a lot more hairs. Flowering day 7 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The flowering started last week because otherwise the space in the small tent would end up being too narrow :-) Cuttings were taken from each phenotype beforehand. To change the flower, I rinsed it very lightly with clean fruits. With the next watering she gets a mix of grow liquid and bloom liquid before she only gets bloom. The heating mat works perfectly in the small tent and the parameters are all in the optimal range 🙏🏻👍. Now we hope that everything stays that way and that the cold days will slowly pass :-) . F1 for this mad dog, will turn to flowering in a couple of days. This plant is growing super strong and fast, biggest of the bunch, I'm trying to keep her from stretching, want to flowr them short and bushy. Hopefully they go through flowering just fine.

Plant has been developing nicely over the past 6 weeks. Fimming was not very successful, so I continued with super cropping the plant. She was switched to a 12/12 schedule a week ago and was fed flower nutes for the first time this week. She is definitely stretching, so I installed another scrod at 50 cm to distribute the canopy even further and add some support. She has been receiving ph balanced RO water and is at this stage continuously via drippers. Roots are al over the tank again, which has however proven as an advantage in the past.

again ... i never realized that this much effort went into starting baby girls ... much respect for the ladies. considering she almost died from a broken taproot she is doing really well. the roots are not showing at the bottom of the pot yet, but she seems to have adopted without showing signs of stress. i helped her move from the nursery into her new home. as everything is all-new - new baby, new home, new technology, (relatively) new grower - it seems i am behind trying to get to the front. hpa is fun, i think once everything settles in, it will be very easy to maintain and grow. i have the basic parts work - the high-pressure dosing, the nutrient distribution, the drainage, lighting figured out. i need to vent the tent more to reduce the little heat generated by the lights. i seem to have a few water leaks on at least one push connector on the high-pressure tank. then i think i need to clean up the wiring and nutrient lines. then for me - the real fun can begin. i already started building a computer for this garden - i really look forward to observing the hpa system from a data point of view to understand better how to maintain the best environment for the girl as well as increase operational efficiency.

Not sure if I missed a week on the diary. They are looking great apart from a little bit of yellowing on the lower part of the plants, pretty sure it's N deficiency. I was also slightly over doing the CalMag so that's been cut out this week. Bloom nutes are now full strength as well. Got the start of some nice buds coming on now & I'm. Hoping they'll add a fair bit of weight in the last 4 weeks, pretty sure this will be my most successful auto grow so far.

It was a rough go for me becuase of the heat out here and i made some mistakes. I shop of taken the light controll and dimmer box out of my tent instead of leaving ontop of the light. The tent got way too hot during the days. I had a air cooler but that only brought down the temp by 10 to 15 degrees. The pine apple chunk was a fighter and stayed strong and ive got some decent nuggs out of it all! Tell next time fam

I believe I prepared the SuperSoil layer too hot, and as the roots reached the over-fertilized layer, they got affected. Some suggestions pointed to a nitrogen deficiency, but I don’t think that’s the case. I applied a good watering with Bactomatik, which contains 2% nitrogen and nitrogen-fixing bacteria. This was already a planned watering, and while the plant started stretching a bit, I haven’t noticed any improvements in leaf coloration yet. I’ll keep monitoring closely to see how it recovers. But If anyone has a suggestion pointing in a different direction, I'm here to listen! 👂 Over the next two days, I’ll start with LST, so that within 1-2 weeks, I can set up the SCROG net.

📆 Week 8, 12-18 March 2024 12-18 March - Let the plant grow and observed. 📑 The end of this week, the start of next week she will be flipped into the 12hr cycle. I look at the beginning of the period a little different than most. This transition can take up to 2 weeks before pistil formations can be seen - a true sign of flowering, and during this time it has the potential to gain substantial mass. So I continue to consider it in a vegetative state until flowers start forming. Ladys growing Great strong and bushy.. doing light defoliation and lst and they handle it well. Promising strain💪 can't wait to start flowering.

Day 60 and a new week, with lady #2 starting to show her age by getting some more yellowish fan leaves. Sugar leaves on both started to show a very lovely, deep violet color. By breeder information they should be ready in 60–63 days. I guess it will be a few more in my case. Lady #1 is foxtailing a bit. Summer grow, definitely, and it was over 30 °C outside most of the daytimes, so I couldn’t avoid peak temperatures of more than 31 °C fully. Like every indoor grower – no restriction to this kind of plant only – I like to see self-grown green become big and bushy, but I guess with a 1,60 m tent it‘s better to stick with shorter specimen. Even some fan leaves are getting into their autumn dress now, and wow, I like their style! Pistils are still white to more than 50%, so ne reason to check for harvest proximity or to feed them pure water only. Day 62: With their cola foxtailing, tallest bud is now at 91 cm. Color is gaining saturation. A bit more intense leaf curl on very few of the uppermost leaves; nothing to worry about at this stage. Think I can do a microscope tour soon, even if I know it’s too early. ;)
