Week 5 | Day 40 Start Date: 9 May Veg Days: 35 Flower Days: 5 All plants are well underway in flower. They have reacted well to the flush and new nutrient volumes I put in. I will leave it for about two weeks before I do another nutrient top-up, planning on lowering the grow and increasing the bloom as the plants start sucking up more potassium. I took a series of clones, but they didn't even make a dent in the amount of nodes that have started stretching. Will have to clear up a few stems to get light in amongst the trees. The two strains are starting to show their true colours- the orange sherbert isn't growing particularly tall and the blur gelato seems to definitely be the strong er of the two strains, but only final yield will tell! The BG plant closest to the fan is thiiiiiic. Stem is looking amazing an cannot wait to see what it yields.

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. Alright guys she's definitely doing pretty good and developing buds already We've been taking care of them We've been working hard on them We hope to get good yield and good weight Fatten the buds and get flavor and highness alright let's see what's up over the next weeks, this was our first time adding molasses and so we did a great tea combination as well since we know this girl is super fruity and it smells already, she's a nice lady and we love when the room smells like her ^^! I think we going to be adding more molasses over the Flowering weeks until the last week's so that they get full in resin and because we want to see the difference between not adding sugar nor molasses because that's what we did before and we just figured it out.. . The week was gone very well until yesterday. I happen to check on the girls when the lights came on I noticed one of my two lamps were out. A bulb burnt. It is only two months old. I bought it online and delivery on everything from this company is out over two weeks. They are closed for the pandemic. Surprisingly, a local hydroponic store where I bought my fans and air scrubbers from was open. The guy cut me a solid and $85 later I am back in business. The girls just had one night with one light. I don’t think one cloudy day will hurt them They’re budding nicely, I just pick a few leaves every now and then to get some light to specific buds.

Another week and a half later I believe. The tentacles have started to take more of the baby nuggetito form. Slowly you can see the flowers starting to make little bud-nuggets. Same 12/12 lights, 3 day water cycle, LST, and removing any extremely small looking buds on the lowest nodes branches. The fan leaf stems have gone a little purple in colour, and the trichomes are starting to show up (Wazzzaaaaa). I presume the purple because of the drop in general temperature because of winter.

Day 71, 29th of November 2021: Here we gonthe first day of the week 5th of flowering! Nice group like the different "personalities" and "styles". Hopefully not much left I guess 3 weeks and we will be very close to the end :) Let's go then Happy Growing Guys! The only changes I made is the ventilation and the extraction fan is off at the same time with the lamp so only switches on when the lamp does. So this is the set up and and operation schedule now: ViparSpectra XS2000 is on full power which is 240W so 100% capacity. Ventilation: As I mentioned it is off when the lamp is off so 12 hours. When the lamp is on it switches on in every hour and off for one hour. The extraction fan is on 12 hours when the lamp is, and then it takes a rest with the lap together lol ;) Watering pretty much remains the same. Humidity quite is approx 50%, temperature as well approx 26-27 Celsius. Fertilization remains the same since last week, the BioBizz family raised up to be 2ml/L each so it is like 2ml/L of BioGrow, 2ml/L of BioBloom, 2ml/L of TopMax... see the ratio above. The schedule of the fertilization has not changed happnes 2x a week except epsom salt just 1x a week.

This week I pruned and defoliated heavy. Removed every fan leaf and removed everything before the scrog. I didn't get as horizontal as I would have liked but I'm hopeful I won't burn tops bcuz I'm close, lucky I have the light rail moving the light atotal of 3 feet back and forth allowing me to use more intense like but in spurts. Also the co2 bag and co2 bucket really seem to be helping. Topdressed with endgame and loaded up with basilus, activated em1, orca, great white, king crab, mammoth p, ohn, yucca, alow flakes, count powder, root wise poder and enzymes. Also weekly to every other week I make compost tea from boogie brew. All my water is treated with drops of balance and I also collect and use rainwater. I have an irrometer and run from 10 to 15 kps

Week 5 Day 39 Tucked what i could and they've popped back up pretty quick some started stretching more. It's a 6 inch trellis which has way to much space per square. I wish i could've found a 3 inch square trellis that was plastic instead of rope. Going to look into making my own next run. Feed liquid nutes twice a week

Oops! Well, the two days in the 80s and nights in the 70s sent my girls into high desert flower! That and two out of season rain days and BOOM! We are now a flower farm! To be honest, I wasn’t sure at first- then, yesterday morning, three bees bee lined and flew to each of the bud sites. My hand wringing (was it or wasn’t it flowers?) was answered - by Mother Nature herself without muss or fuss. No more salad! Flowers! Also, a shock to no one, I bought a ruler yesterday, and while I listed my plants as 29 inches, I sadly have no idea what 12 inches really is. They are about 18 after supercropping. Needless to say other measurements were, sadly reconsidered…. 7/31 transferred banana mango to a 30 Gallon pot 💪
