*ADVISE NEEDED* The day before yesterday I discovered a huge error in my system. I placed filter material in the feed-throughs of the breeding boxes. This is to prevent the roots from growing together over time. However, what I caused with that is very difficult to explain. The bottom line is that the distribution of food and circulation was actually not good at all. This also explained the differences in the water temperature, but also PH and EC values. That is now completely under control because it now runs stably for 2 days. However, you can see that the records have had a bad start. I am thinking about starting over. Week 3. Week 2 was looking for the correct settings for my system. I found out that the temperature in the bins is quite different. When I set the water chiller to 19 degrees, it all flows fine into the first container. There it rises about 0.5 degrees per bin. The margin of the chiller is about 1 degrees, causing too many fluctuations in the system, with tray 1 becoming too cold and the last one too cold. I solved this by shielding the box at the inlet of the tent with heat-protective foil. I also put a fan on the water chiller. If that catches on, the entire loft heats up, whith more fluctiations. However, I have enough space to measure very precisely and I am getting more and more control. I think the brown leaves were the cause of much too hot water. Since I have the water temperature under control, I see that the new leaves are growing nicely. Moreover, since yesterday (13-5) I received the nutrition. 10 days late. I just finish the root scheme I think. That is still 3 days a 70 mm per day combined with BioBizz Heaven. I tried to take some pictures of the roots and some close ups. I hold the lid with my left hand and with my right hand I try to take a picture zoomed in (max). While the wind makes the roots dance past my lens😵 Something different than usual ... Hope you like it. If you see something that needs to be addressed, let us know. It is my first breeding so there will undoubtedly go wrong. This week I also connected the water reservoir with which I can flush the entire system at once. With this I also control the Ph in the system. Will post photos soon.

The sun has come back and they spent quite some time outside. They have been growing well and I started to try some LST. But something is not right, there are stains on the leaves, an insect and more interesting creatures or shrooms. I don't know what to do.

fighting the cold at lights off temps dipping lower than I would like, adjustments have been made so hopefully I’ve not done too much damage, will start slowly cutting the nutrients down from now on by 5 ml a week, the cold has slowed them down abit so I’d be guessing at a 10 week flower on these girls, the middle plant has the more solid bud structure than the others with a notable size difference already, I’ll be trimming lower leaves in the canopy this week to open them up and get some light down to lower bud sites

Hi Growers. Day 21 Flower So this week I decided to defoliate as they are super leafy. I took that pile from each plant. I also took off any branches that I thought would be under the trellis. It’s being pushed up so it’s hard to tell. They are pretty happy regardless. The leaves I left are already quite big after 3 days. I did 2 hydrogen peroxide flushes around the defoliation to combat any possible pests and nutes weren’t gonna help in a slightly stressed state and they won’t hate some extra oxygen to the roots. I let them dry for 3 days and fed today. The Vipar Spectra XS2000 is growing these plants nicely, heating the tent a prefect amount. It’s so powerful in my 2x4, I’d love to see it in a 3x3. They’re happy with it up at 22-24” until I know they’ve stopped stretching. Pretty easy week. Just trying to keep them happy and growing big. Happy Growing 🌱

The OLPs are a week behind because the timer in their tent was flipping back and forth between 12-12 and 18-6 for about 10 days.. ooosie! Moms are being maintained as little bonsai plants in solo cups in my back bedroom near the window with a single 100w panel set to 18-6. Being mostly neglected, infrequent watering, lean fertilizer, heavy defoliation.

This strain is very heterozygous. 4 seeds were started. The 4 phenos were very different. I saved 2 of those phenos for my arsenal, which is quite exceptionnal. I ususally save just one pheno from a strain. The Pheno #1 was mainly sativa (75%). Long branches. Lots of fluffy buds. The more resistant to mold, but it has to be with the fluffiness. The taste was cheesy and spicy, which has nothing to see with the 3 other phenos. Not a single ressemblance with ak-47 parents as well. It shares the musky undertones of the strain, but nothing else. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. Terpene profile was deceiving, just as the cannabinoid content. The Pheno #2 has more indica in it (45% indica). robust and tall plant with dense heavy buds. No mold resistance at all. Biggest producer. The taste was earthy and musky with hints of wood. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. The Pheno #3 is my favorite one. It reminded me of the good old Ak-47, with her flowery/sweet/skunky smell and taste. Pure nostalgia! Tall and quite robust plant with huge fluffy buds coated with trichomes. She grows pretty similar to Lemon Skunk if you know the reference. Great producer of top quality buds. So sticky! In my top 3 sativa for 2 years. The aroma is very close to the old school Ak-47: sweet, flowery and skunky. It tastes like sweet lemon on the inhale, with a sharp touch of spicy lavender and earth on the exhale. IMO, that is the pheno we want to save from that heterozygous strain. Backcrossing this one would be a very good idea. The Pheno #4 is just as interesting as my favorite #3. The only issue with this one is about mold resistance. Crazy compact and heavy budst! One of the most productive I’ve ever seen too. More traits of the Ak-47 in the aromatic profile, but nothing like the #3. On the structure side, we can immediately recognize the sturdy and bushy structure of Ak-47. THC content is very high too. I suspect the CBD content to be high as well. The effect is a mood elevation, with good focus and a deep body relaxation; a bit similar to what White widow does. The aroma is earthy and pungent. Very skunky and musky. It tastes very sweet and earthy on the inhale, with hints of skunk on the exhale. That pheno #4 expresses the best traits of the Ak-47 in its structure, while pheno #3 kept the aromatic profile.

Was happily feeding it to my girls THINKING im@ 6.5ph which I CLEARLY wasn't!!!! Anyways, I brought Cal-mag agent from canna and they fuckin love it!!!!!! ALL my new growth is nice and green :) I'm now ph'ing to 6.0 and THINK I've rolled all my issues back????? Feeding now 1.0ml a&b with 0.70ml Cal-mag, will lower my calmag to around 0.30ml and over the next few days then feed that throughout my grow cycle, if they get to green ill obviously remove it from my regime...

The ladies are showing there hairs and the CS MILF is going balls out "literally" The clones are moving along I am looking forward to seeing what comes of them I'm on the fence about how much to pollenate just get a few or leave MILF (A) in the tent and just hit everything, the clones are a week behind in flower so depending how soon the (A) MILF Pollen takes to pop I should have a two week window on the pollination... Anyway The Mom's are drinking a lot 1.5 gallons each. This weeks feeding was just water with the last of the Mammoth P and a small dose of Rock Super Charger I forgot to add this in the week one photos I got this the same time I got the Beans same Show ROCK vender free sample, I am using it as my PK booster. that and all the topdressing form last week its all about Bud and Pollen production so I will be keeping an eye on MILF A in the next 7-14 days and I hope I can Catch it before it Shoots its wad in the tent. Smooth sailing on this batch deep into flower! Were sitting at 85 days today and they are looking fantastic! Steady feeding flora bloom and flora micro. Also giving them 5ml/gal of advanced big bud. These ladies are FROSTY! Cannot wait till these ladies wrap it up! This dinafem cheese xxl is a beast. She isn't close to finishing just yet. Not gonna be a huge yielder, but one hell of a pretty plant.

Week 4: Growth Spurts and New Challenges Continued Growth and Health As we move into the fourth week, the plants are showing impressive growth. Their leaves are a lush, vibrant green, and the stems are becoming stronger. The transition to the larger 11-liter fabric pots has clearly paid off, providing the roots with ample space and better aeration. Adjusting Nutrient Levels Given their positive response to the nutrients, I decided to continue with 2/3 of Terra Aquatica Tripart feeding schedule, adjusting slightly to meet their increasing demands. Here's the updated feeding plan for this week: CalMag: 2.5 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.50 mS/cm) Grow: 1.5 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 0.5 ml/l EC: 1.2 mS/cm (600 ppm PPM-500/TDS) pH: 6.0 Each plant is watered with approximately 20% runoff to ensure there's no nutrient buildup in the coco mix. I will maintain this nutrient level until the pre-flowering stage to avoid the risk of nutrient burn due to over-fertilization. Weather Improvements and Adjustments The weather has been steadily improving, with temperatures expected to rise to around 25°C starting Wednesday, accompanied by abundant sunshine. This upcoming forecast is excellent news for my plants, as I anticipate a final growth spurt before flowering begins. Every centimeter of growth counts at this stage, and I'm optimistic about maximizing their potential under these favorable conditions. Strengthening with Wind Exposure On days with good weather, I move the plants out of the greenhouse to expose them to natural wind. This practice helps strengthen their stems, improving overall stability. Additionally, the wind creates a more challenging environment for pests, helping to keep them at bay. Smart Watering Strategy I only water the plants when the pots feel noticeably lighter. This encourages the roots to search for water, promoting the development of a stronger and more extensive root system. This method helps ensure the plants remain healthy and resilient. Pest Management: Observations and Actions At the beginning of the third week, I noticed dark discolorations on the undersides of some leaves. A few days later, these spots turned into yellow patches. I am still unsure about the cause of these spots. To prevent a potential insect infestation, I sprayed all the leaf surfaces, both top and bottom, with a mildly dosed neem oil mixture. Since then, the spots have not spread further. Because these discolorations are only affecting the lower leaves, they are not causing me significant concern at the moment. Regular inspections and preventive measures are crucial to maintaining the health of the plants and ensuring that any issues are caught early. Decision Against LST At first I have decided against using LST. But some of your comments made me try some LST on two of my plants. I choose Tangie and Gorilla cookies to try out and learn some stuff. Blue dream and Banana purple punch stay without any training. Week 2 of 🌹Flowering and some of Kaiydaan's sugar leaves look as though, they've been dusted with Confectioner's sugar. She still has no smell that I can recognize, however, she has a citrus/pine scent when you rub her leaves between your fingers. "Freeman", the 3rd girl to sprout, 2nd girl to 🌼Flower, and the girl we were attempting to manifold, is growing in healthy and strong. We weren't able to manifold her, because she began to show signs of 🌻Flower when Kaiydaan did, WAY EARLY. Not wanting to shock her, we ceased all topping and stripping. So basically we're left with a topped Auto that was partially stripped below the 3rd node. I think "Freeman" could have withstood the ⚡shock of multiple toppings, but I rather not risk that theory on a first grow. "J" is still in full Veg well behind "Freeman" and "Kaiydaan". We are still feeding full Veg nutrients to "J" as we taper off "Freeman" and "Kaiydaan". I don't have bloom boosters so we will be relying on our organic amended soil and organic fertilizers to get us through Flower. July 8, 2021 I defoliated and rotated the crop. "Kaiydaan" and "J" are doing very well and are getting stickier with every passing day. July 12, 2021 Monday. Things are progressing. Not much change, no stretching. "J" is still in full Veg, weeks behind "Kaiydaan' & "Freeman" with no signs of moving into Flower. I don't believe she is a Photoperiod, but just a different Phenotype from the others.
