Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Like i said last week, purps are here to stay, nugs are 100% all purple though leaves are green. The smell has really come in this week. In spain we call this the Cali aroma, that high grade aroma. 😂 Kind of bummed that the buds aren't as big as I imagined but then again I wasn't expecting the purps so yeah, you get what you get I guess... They are getting a bit denser, so that's nice. Things are running smoothly.. In flower I use Enzymes once every 10 days or so to help out with the roots.. That's it.. hope you like the content. Still no big signs of deficiencies so will keep up the same routine besides adding a little GH CaliMagic. Starting to stretch more so can't wait to see just how tall they'll get. i'm wondering if this plants are growing normal. or they are just small plants. They are being grown with just Ph water since seed. I have a GG#4 from another breeder that its two weeks younger and its currenly in the 2nd week of flower.

Harvest came quicker than i thought it would. Taken awhile to update as I've had a few smokes to test after a heavy harvest so sorry about that. Pretty easy one to grow overall, didn't give this grow my full 100% as had a lot going on in my personal life but back to it now! Beautiful looking girl.. She had a 14 day flush as usual!

One of my favourite plants to grow so far. I learned a TREMENDOUS amount, especially all the ins and outs of supercropping. Although I did end up breaking my stalk, she turned out quite nice! I can definitely see myself supercropping plants in the future just to play around. The terpenes are also really nice on this girl. I can't wait to make some bubble hash and rosin. And I generally can't wait to grow this girl again knowing what she needs now in terms of training. Will also be nice to see the difference with organic dry amendments vs the FF wet nutrients I used.

Another week down absolutely no problems stress free week, alrighty then, bye bye now..... okay fine who am I kidding there's no such thing as an easy week in this journal so let's just get into it. Started of the week well enough buds sites forming Dennis is a little behind but thats just Dennis. The problem child of the group was given a flush with nutrients at the start of the week. The black spotting and leaf necrosis has slowed significantly. Looks like just one or two leaves affected. Maybe the microbes and removal or calmag are starting to balance things out. Im still not 100% on what the cause is... if its ph, lockout, calmag, phosphorus def, problems with my water or something else. Maybe Dennis just likes to watch me stress out and run 3000 google searches on what it could be.. honestly thats probably it. Mid week I got caught sleeping on the job and the tent wilted from underwatering, I caught this about 10 minutes before lights out when I returned from work. I've never mixed a batch of feed so quickly, it was like what I'd imagine being a chef for Gordon Ramsey feels like. I usually ph to 5.9-6.1 but I've been watching some bill ward vids on youtube who suggests 5.7 so we gave it a try. No time to make the ol' calmag free batch for Dennis, just eat your calmag and go the f to sleep. Now this morning 10 minutes before I typed this I've found black necrosis spots on over a dozen leaves. Even some on on another plants. One plant had some nitrogen def showing in the lower leaves even with the feed being yesterday which is baffling. Its gotta be the ph. The promix hp could have drifted to a nono spot in ph im not sure. Open to advice and suggestions...anything.. I need to right the ship and fast. The only other thing it could be is the lack of a male presence has left then tent and the females are depressed. I've added an important male figure back into the tent in hopes of raising overall morale. Hope it works

🏆 Eternity Grow Cup 2025: Plagron and Zamnesia 🏆 Strain: Runtz - Zamnesia Seeds Our girl is doing great! It's day 43 since sprouting, and 13 days since we switched the light to 12/12. She's grown significantly, with many branches stretching upwards. Given how many there were, I decided to trim her and removed about 10 thick and thin branches. I’m not sure how this will affect her, but I'm hoping to get fewer colas, though thicker and denser ones. We don’t waste anything from the pruning. The leaves that we cut off are frozen, then crushed in a blender. We mix the resulting mass with water, let it sit, and then water the plant with this solution. Additionally, we finely chop the leaves and mix them into the top layer of the soil, a practice called mulching. This way, we recycle everything and make full use of the plant material.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. The girls have recovered well after my massive defoliation. Girl number 1 is now 40 cm high, number 2 is 105 cm and number 3 is 25 cm. It is strange that 3 plants from the same strain, with the same care and environment, can distinguish so much in appearance and size. It separates 80 cm in numbers 2 and 3. In 4 days Nr1 has grown 3 cm, Nr 2 has grown 17 cm and Nr 3 has grown 4 cm. They have received 7 liters of water and nutrition today.

Let's get in it!!!👽 Sooo couple of things I have adjusted in the setup, increased all channels in my GML Ultimate 1K LED up to 💯% from 70% so after that lowered Intensity to 700 watts output as of now, saw an overnight difference in growth lol really amazing what this light can do, also I'm keeping pH swing between 5.8-6.2, which is really a small challenge but nothing i can't overcome, feeding is standing at every 3 days to add 2 gallons fresh as of now, the girls are really eating through the PPM also which is good to see, other then that they are really runnin!!! First week I’ve added any nutrients. I was shooting for adding in some locally sourced bat guano and bone meal in mid way in flower so that my soil wouldn’t run out on me. I noticed a spotted leaf so I added everything earlier than expected lol. Oh well!!! Lol 😂 I’m hoping this local fertilizer works well. We’ll see Lords willing 💯👊🏻
