One starting week 3 the other starting week 1 I’m so impressed!! So excited!!

Well another week for this adoptepted Gelato. I got simi bad news. The main stem snapped! It Snapped while tying branches down. Trying not to panic, i tried to put the branch back together again nice and tightly with some tape. After securing the branch I gave this plant a good feeding. Im really keeping my fingers crossed with this girl, only time can tell. Let me kno what yall think. If she do not bounce back, I plan to go ahead with the flip and get what I can from the remaining branches...

🌿 Grow Diary Update: Week 5 Check-In 🌿 Hey growers, Can you believe it's Week 5 already? Time's flying, and so is our girl – she's a beast now! I've been itching to defoliate more, but I've maxed out the amount of defol i can do and i have now stopped completely to avoid stressing her out too much :/ Overall, she's looking happy, but I noticed some leaves getting darker than I'd like, so I dialed down the nitrogen a bit... Remember my PPMS struggle? Well, good news – got them down to 1200ppm but could not get it any lower.. i could lower the ppm/ec of intake even more to hopefully drop it but in this stage of flower feeding lower than 800ppms is too low unless you need to flush to reset the medium so i am just gonna keep sticking to the 800ppm feed for now and measure run off each time hopefully i can get it around 900-1000, yes these high ppm/ec levels are fine for cannabis but mostly when your using co2 thats like 700ppm+ but at the end of the day SHE LOOKS GREAT! Die Pflanze wurde Mitte letzter Woche an Tag 66 geerntet. Getrocknet wurden die Blüten 6 Tage lang bei einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von 53% bevor sie nun ins Glas kommen. Getrimmt wurde die Pflanze trocken.

Start of week 8

Harvest ended up being a 14 day hang dry as the entire plant. Dry weight between both plants yielded 40 grams only. I did 2 runs of this. The genetics seemed very inconsistent. One plant was very small, and one plant was so large it was almost touching the light at the top of the tent. The bud structure was not great. They did make some pretty pictures though. The smoke is not bad, its smooth and has hints of fruit to it, almost like a mango or papaya. It also smells sweet. It could be used for daytime if you control it correctly. It doesn't hit you hard. Its mellow but lacks that sativa focus.

Week 12 Started on June 19, 2022 Finally recovered and lots and lots of defoliation happened, I am talking a compressed ball of leaves and stems the size of a softball. That means I got rid of most the weight below the buds, snipped the buds I didn't want to see straggling, and lollipopped colas -- left a few leaves on. Took a few clones to see what happens. She is doing well, more pics soon. I cleaned the reservoir again, fresh water, drained the autopot and made sure my Ph is 6.3 to 6.7 Adding weak calmag+ to deter the iron lockout I think I saw in early week 11, figuring out dosing now, might need a bit more. Not a ton of nutes added as the plant is progressing well, added a tiny amount of MOAB, also just thinking my single COB flower light is gonna be too weak on its own. We'll see it's early yet. Might need to turn on the supplemental light next week, old school HPS 150 Watt on its last grow. The heat will drive the humidity way way down, and that will be a good thing, just gotta crank the fans on high and no looking back after that. That will be 400 watts in a 3x3 -- HPS is hot as can be. When compared with growth like this: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/135853-grow-journal-by-kushdoctor/week/766680#gallery=5630051 I worry about the size right now on day 18 of flower, not that big and no sugary stuff yet, I think I need to let her just grow and perhaps add just a bit more flower nutes, but I will wait until she fills in just a bit more, I seriously took off SO MUCH, but last grow I should have taken more off than I did, I was was super aggressive, I don't want larf.

Week39 Had to stripped of the brown dried bud, to facilitate the reveg, now she's vegging at dope pace, she will flower with the summer day cycle, and it will not be distrupted by change of season, she should be done with flowering by then.

Had no issues at all with this girl.. she's growing lovely. I have removed the bigger fan leaves so the lower flower heads can catch up. I wanted yo top her but at this stage I'm not chancing it.. She's actually at 3 and a half weeks. This week maybe early next week she's due to flip into flower. So only good things to come.

Critical x Animal Cookies looks like she is coming out of being stunned finally. She did endure a lot of training today. Hopefully she adapts well, and starts to make a lot of progress in size . This week was also uneventful, growth has been slow and I'd say its half my fault with PH issues and over feeding which I'm correcting moving forward; and two unstable genetics. I dont have much info on growth patterns for this strain but its supposed to look a beautiful dark purple so I'm gonna breed a male and female hopefully. I'm also looking forward to the fourth phenos straits, I kind of hope its different just to have fourth completely unique phenos.

This week has been good. Did a major defoliation getting all the bigger fan leafs off. Really opened up the light to those lower flower sites. This strain is taking its time, so I have a feeling the colds are going to get massive. All in all Happy Growing.
