Medium: Look, I love coco/soil, organic/synthetic just as much as anyone. I’ve never really hated on any particular method and each has its uses depending upon the environment. That being said.... hydro is likely to be the predominant indoor method for us going forward. It ticks all the boxes that the average hobby grower is looking for. Maintenance is generally pretty easy, while I’ve found myself monitoring ph and tds more frequently, I’m still only mixing nutes once a week instead of three. The hassle factor is crazy mitigated here: 1:. From a sustainability perspective, nute consumption is wayyyy down, saving more dolla bills y’all! Added bonus is that veg. Growth rates are just insanely fast. Easily a 2 week savings in time pre-flower🤟😎😳. It is a little bit of a tricky medium but once you dial in the ratios - smooth sail’n the whole grow. I can focus on training/maintenance instead of feeding🤟🤟. If there’s a drawback to DWC it would be that I’d have concerns about leaving it for more than a couple days when she’s in full flower. They just drink so much that It’s a constant top off. All told, far and away the most effective and economical medium we’ve used😎. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Under this COB light system, the best method to date has definitely been a mainline. It’s got so much canopy penetration that we’re pulling down 16” long colas packed with well developed buds. The mainline training didn’t take long in DWC - roughly 4 weeks of veg. And she was ready for the flip. We only extended it a further 2 weeks to keep pace with another grow in the same space. Otherwise, I would’ve cut the veg. Time back to 4 weeks which would’ve made the behemoth of a root ball a little more manageable. We also iceballed the res. With frozen water bottles twice a day throughout the grow. Just to keep temps down and avoid any potential issues. Whether or not there’s a better, more efficient way to get these kinds of results remains to be seen. We’re still trying to strike that balance between faster veg. Times and maximized yields. If anything, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the hermie issue at the end had something to do with the root ball binding on itself due to size. The true culprit was an unanticipated light leak but still - The ball could’ve been 2/3 the size and likely have produced similar results🤷‍♂️. I’m giving the method a slim 4 because it was a great success but too long a veg. Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 Regardless of the final number, we had hoped that the yield would’ve been bigger. She’s a beauty of a plant but didn’t really puff out as much as we were hoping for. At least not a mainline on a 6 week veg. At 5.125oz we’re obviously not complaining and the colours in late flower were some of the best ever seen😎👌😎👌. What she did yield was frosty, dense and surprisingly stinky AF. I see no discernible difference in the quality of the terp. Profile vs. Any of our previous organic soil grows. For those who tout this as an advantage in soil media, I say get urself a bucket and a bubbler, then we’ll talk. Hydro is just straight up awesome: 1:. 4 palm trees on the yield - any haul north of 5oz is a great addition to the cellar: 1:😎: 1:😎. 24.04.2026 Heute habe ich mich dazu entschlossen die Damen zu ernten. der Hauptpunkt welcher mich jetzt dazu gebracht hat zu ernten waren die trichome, es sind jetzt auf jeder Pflanze Bernstein farben zu erkennen. sie trinken auch nicht mehr all zu viel und ich musste am Ende nur noch alle 3 tage gießen anstatt alle 2 Tagen. sie sind jetzt grob getrimmt und trocknen und curen jetzt in der vcure von vivosun. ich werde noch mehr Bilder machen, sobald sie fertig sind. freue mich schon auf das Ergebnis. die buds werden jetzt 5 Tage getrocknet und dann 9 Tage gecured, also gibt es in 14 Tagen neue Bilder. ich wünsche allen die bei dem Contest mit machen viel glück und einen guten grow, am Ende sind wir alle Gewinner eines guten grows. danke an zamnesia und plagron für das bereitstellen der Samen und des düngers. es gab mir Mal die Chance einen Strain von zamnesia zu testen und in den dünger von plagron rein zu schnuppern. hat mir beides gefallen und ich werde drauf zurück greifen in Zukunft, ganz sicher.

Fruity pebbles auto is doing good. She has a nice start into the solution. I clipped the tips of her long root to help keep root base closer to the basket. Also makes them spread out wider vs longer. Everything is looking good. I noticed some unwanted visitors in the form of thrips and fungus gnats, so it was time to take action. But hey, I prefer a natural approach, so I called upon some tiny allies to join the battle. I introduced nematodes to the soil, those microscopic warriors who feast on the unsuspecting pests. It's like having a secret army of predators ready to defend my precious plants. But that's not all! To further bolster the defenses, I invited some other beneficial insects to the party. Spical Ulti Mite and Swirskii, the mighty protectors, joined forces to keep those unwanted critters in check. It's like an epic showdown between the good, the bad, and the buggy. Who needs a superhero movie when you have a living ecosystem fighting the good fight? In a way, the scrog net and the IPM predators are like my own version of the Avengers. They work together, each with their unique skills, to create a harmonious and pest-free environment. Plant going as wanted, INSANE growth, very special in the way it behaves. I cannot kill this thing no matter what you do. After the second schwazzing where I took I think 130+ leaves, it regend within 48 hours... I am not sure what to say, but I guess these mofos are made with some mastermind in the back. Im just blown away and that from a free tester seed.

Auch in dieser Woche gehen die Schwestern getrennte Wege, eine wird weiter mit 18-6 beleuchtet, die andere darf nur 12h im Sonnenlicht verbringen. An Tag 37 hat die eine Schwester 250ml Compo Grow Organic Wachstum bekommen, die andere Compo Grow Organic Blüte. An Tag 39 Mal ein Video des Gewächshauses von mir und meiner Frau, ihr seht drei verschiedene Genetiken von Sensi Seeds, ganz links sind unsere Purple Buds zu sehen. An Tag 40 gab es noch einmal Dünger für beide, diesmal einen ganzen Liter.
