I took a sample off the bud to see how it’ll look dried, so the plan is to cut the plant off Sunday! All I wanted is something to smoke and at this point I’m happy that seems to be the reality after the drying&curing process! Amazing feel! Some powdery mildew starting but shouldn’t be a problem if I cut soon!

Straight water now and they're drinking less as they fade and ripen. Still popping some fresh hairs here and there but I've been keeping an eye on the trichomes and looking forward to harvesting whenever they're ready. Won't be long by the looks of things.

It grows very well. The substrate was watered with top dressing next to the pellet.

Held off on feeding for 2 waterings, as I over fed slightly and notices a slight yellowing in the leaf margins signifying a nutrient lockout/toxicity. I flushed Media with Ph'd water and problem was successfully resolved .. Then yesterday 11/5/2021 I watered in some "Instant Compost tea" lol... a.k.a (Real Growers) 'RECHARGE' 💦🌱🚀. Before watering, I Top Dressed my media with 1 Tbsp./Per 3 Gallon container with 'AZOMITE'

I think I'm off to a good start. This is the roughest part of a grow for me so far. One thing that I learned from my past killings was to not get obsessive and that's the approach. I've got a way better understanding of feeding now. I was confused about feeding charts, thinking that it was mix and feed. Even though I checked the PH and PPM (incorrectly a few times) I'd consistently fry my plants to near death, bring them back with plain, proper ph'd water and then re-fry the next feeding. It hadn't dawned on me that the nutrient mix while being in the optimal PH range, mixed in right order and correct measurements, my PPM/EC was way too high for the stage of the plant. Yikes, I was feeding a toddler 3 double Whoppers with extra everything. And XL fries. You burn and learn I guess. The little girl was starting to look hungry so I took a shot and fed light nutrients with some hydrogen peroxide (will update the chart soon getting sleepy). I also punched a lot more holes in the bottom of the solo cup. Few hours later her leaves perked up like she was giving me a high five. Leaves are looking good too with a PPM of about 211. It's going to be a warmer weekend so I figure I'll crack another seed and put my 5 gallon pot to use. Possibly a photoperiod?

|»» LOG DISCLAIMER: Not intended as a grow guide. Grow log entries are usually posted 3 weeks later and are for my learning reference. ««| Introduction - Week 23 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 17590.2, This week was a whole lot better than last! Lost TKO last week so Heady OG is all I have for this cycle, but wow she is looking beautiful! Buds are getting thick! Checked trichomes and decided to let her grow for a few more weeks. The veg garden has been growing along healthy and all mothers are looking beautiful! Topped three of the moms and have been tending to the spare clones in the tray. Also been prepping for tissue culture and plan to start very soon! Onwards to next week Ensign! [START OF WEEK 23] ========================================================== ---------- [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] ---------- Heady OG BX1 #1 [Round4 ~Wk16] - WEEK 23 - Full Bloom Wk7 ----------- [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ------------ TKO - WEEK 06 - Full Veg Gorilla Goat #1 - WEEK 02 - Full Veg Heady OG BX1 - WEEK 06 - Full Veg Garlic Budder OG#1 - WEEK 02 - Full Veg 09/22/25 → 09/28/25 This Week's Estimated Goals ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DLI: ~45 mol/m²/d PPFD: ~1042 μmol/m²/s VPD: ~1.1 kPa This Week's Meter Readings & Averages ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Light On/Off: 19:00 - 07:00 | Wattage: ~390.1W [LV05] Distance From Canopy: ~2” DLI: ~50.07 mol/m²/d PPFD: ~1159 μmol/m²/s VPD: ~0.92 kPa Soil %: [49.3, 39.6, 33.1, 52.4, 43.1, 41.4, 43.7, 43.1] ========================================================== Day 01 - Monday - 09/22/25 - Total Days: 162 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 86.0°F [30.0°C] - Humidity: 79.5% - VPD: 0.88 kPa - Soil %: [49, 41, 34, 53, 43, 41, 45, 46] ----------------------------------- - [+00:22]: Night check on the 4x4 tent. --- Alright! The garden has definitely looked better, but growth is looking okay! --- Heady OG (BX1 #1) is looking green and her top buds are swelling up! --- TKO is toast… Damnit Ensign! Looking great in the veg garden! --- Glad that the TKO mom is thriving and wow the Heady OG mother is looking a lot better now! --- The canopy looks really healthy and growth is perky and soaring upwards! --- The original Garlic Budder #1 mother is getting quite tall as well. --- Will need to top the canopy soon. --- Both of the spare clones in the propagation tray look healthy and green! --- The Garlic Budder #2 clone needs water. - [+00:42]: Here is the starting initial watering range: ------ Garlic Budder OG#2 » 256.4g → 300.2g --------- General Solo Range: [Dry] «| [Initial Cup Weight] + ~55-100g |» [Wet] --- Took the starting weight before watering, ------ Garlic Budder OG#2 » 258.2g --- While on a scale, --- Gently misted her straw mulch with RO water. --- Tried to keep the top growth dry. --- Misted 5-10 sprays. Waited a few seconds, then misted again. --- Made sure to reference the watering weights. --- Repeated this process until the cup weighted at least 300g. --- There was no runoff. - [+01:00]: Took the saturated weight after watering, ------ Garlic Budder OG#2 » 320.6g --- Marked the watering date on the side of the cup. Also marked the saturated weight on the back. --- Placed her back into the tent. --- Why not! Decided to top the mothers. --- Growth is getting too close to the grow light. - [+01:03]: Using a pair of clean trimmers, --- Cut and removed a good 5-6 inches of top growth. --- Topped all mothers except the Gorilla Goat #1 mom. --- Mulched the trimmings. --- The veg garden is looking healthy and is growing strong! - [+01:18]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. --- Plan to start prepping for tissue culture soon and am still researching the initial process. Day 02 - Tuesday - 09/23/25 - Total Days: 163 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 86.0°F [30.0°C] - Humidity: 78.4% - VPD: 0.92 kPa - Soil %: [49, 41, 34, 53, 43, 40, 43, 45] ----------------------------------- - [13:03]: Time to start prepping for my first attempt at tissue culture! --- Ordered and received the AC Infinity PH Meter PRO [AC-PHM7] --- Since this is a brand new unit, the probe sensor needs to be cleaned and conditioned for calibration. --- For proper storage and conditioning, the meter includes a bottle of KCL (Potassium Chloride) storage solution. --- For a basic 2-point calibration, the pH meter also includes 7.00 pH [Mid] and 4.00 pH [Low] calibration solution. --- The pen does support a 3-point calibration, but does not include the 10.1 pH [High] calibration solution. For growing, the pH should never get that high anyways. The ideal averages are all below 7.00 pH [Mid to Low Points]. --- The meter also includes solutions for conductivity calibration, but don’t need these for tissue culture. --- Okay let's go! - [13:09]: Took the cap off of the unit and examined the new sensor probe. --- There was a tiny bit of condensation and a micro drops of the KCL storage solution in the cap. --- The glass sensor was clean, but the seal for the cap had a bit of mineral build-up. This is apparently normal for new meters. --- Swirled the probe in distilled water for a bit making sure to fully saturate the sensor and to rinse off the old KCL solution. --- Wiped the mineral deposits off with a clean paper towel. Made sure to be gentle around the glass probe and tried not to touch it much. --- Also cleaned and rinsed the cap with distilled water and dried with a paper towel. - [13:16]: Opened and poured about 3/4 of the KCL solution into the cap. --- Placed and probe cap back on making sure the sensor is fully soaking in the storage solution. --- Done! - [13:19]: The unit should be ready for a first-time calibration after a 30-minute soak, but going to be soaking for a lot longer. --- The probe needs to stay stored in this KCL solution and will top off with more as needed. --- Plan to calibrate the meter right before checking and adjusting the pH for the establishment media. --- Compared to my last pH meter (cheap Amazon pen), this one is a huge upgrade in both accuracy and complexity. --- Will need to do a bit of research on how to calibrate and use this meter properly. - [16:36]: Evening check on the 3x3 veg tent. --- With the recent TKO disaster in the main tent, glad that everything is looking healthy in the veg garden! --- All mothers (including TKO) are looking green and getting bigger! --- Now that the watering system is working again, the Heady OG mother is looking a lot better and she is starting to perk up. Ca-Caw! Nice! --- Even the spare clones in the tray are looking good and no need to water. Great! - [17:01]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data: ------------------ [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] --------------- ------ 47% - [CH01 FT » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 40% - [CH02 FB » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 34% - [CH03 BT » G20 - TKO] ------ 53% - [CH04 BB » G20 - TKO] ------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ---------------- ------ 47% - [CH05 BL » GR7 - TKO] ------ 40% - [CH06 BR » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #1] ------ 44% - [CH07 FL » GR7 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 44% - [CH08 FR » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#1] --------- Veg: 38% - 45% | Flower: 45% - 55% --------- General: 30% [Dry] «| 45 - 60% [Moist] |» 70% [Wet] --- All watering units are functioning properly! - [20:37]: Checked the 4x4 tent. --- Looking great in the garden! --- Still hurts to have lost TKO, she’s completely yellow and crispy.. --- On the flipside, Heady OG has clearly survived and is looking beautiful with bud colas getting frosty and thick! --- Anyways, time to take the weekly height and PPFD readings, but will only take readings for Heady OG from now on. - [20:46]: Took the weekly general PPFD readings. ------ Heady OG (BX1 #1) was around 1159 μmol/m²/s which gives a DLI of 50.07 mol/m²/d under a 12/12 light cycle (LV5 @ ~390.1W). - [20:55]: Took the weekly height and light distance measurements. ------ Heady OG (BX1 #1) was about 52" tall. ------ Heady OG (BX1 #1) was about 2" away from the grow light. --- These readings were taken from the tallest bud colas so the average height and PPFD levels are lower. - [21:25]: Checked on the auto-watering system. --- System is charged and water is still flowing. - [21:56]: Okay! Still prepping for tissue culture (TC) and need to cut some plastic wrap. Let's go! --- Using a PVC cutter, cut a roll of plastic wrap into twelve 1-inch pieces. - [22:15]: Done! --- Instead of para or lab film, these saran wrap rolls will be used to secure the lids of the explant containers after transplant. --- Shout out to Laur and Plants-In-Jars for the useful and in-expensive alternative! --- Okay! Almost all set to give tissue culture a go and will begin preparation of the establishment media next week. --- Getting hyped! - [22:21]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. Day 03 - Wednesday - 09/24/25 - Total Days: 164 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 86.7°F [30.4°C] - Humidity: 79.1% - VPD: 0.91 kPa - Soil %: [49, 40, 34, 53, 44, 43, 43, 43] ----------------------------------- - [23:43]: Night check on the 4x4 tent. --- Alright! Heady OG is looking healthy and green! --- Also terps are getting more distinct and am getting more of a pine-fuel profile! Wow she’s smelling great! --- Plan to take microscope samples in a week or two! - [23:47]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data: ------------------ [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] --------------- ------ 45% - [CH01 FT » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 40% - [CH02 FB » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 33% - [CH03 BT » G20 - TKO] ------ 53% - [CH04 BB » G20 - TKO] ------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ---------------- ------ 47% - [CH05 BL » GR7 - TKO] ------ 42% - [CH06 BR » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #1] ------ 41% - [CH07 FL » GR7 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 43% - [CH08 FR » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#1] --------- Veg: 38% - 45% | Flower: 45% - 55% --------- General: 30% [Dry] «| 45 - 60% [Moist] |» 70% [Wet] - [23:52]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent. --- Veg garden is beautiful and all mothers are looking great! --- All clones also are looking healthy, but Gorilla Goat #2 needs watering now. - [23:55]: Here is the starting initial watering range: ------ Gorilla Goat #2 » 255.4g → 300.3g and was watered 7 days ago. --------- General Solo Range: [Dry] «| [Initial Cup Weight] + ~55-100g |» [Wet] --- Took the starting weight before watering, ------ Gorilla Goat #2 » 231.7g --- While on a scale, --- Gently misted her straw mulch with RO water. --- Tried to keep the top growth dry. --- Misted 5-10 sprays. Waited a few seconds, then misted again. --- Made sure to reference the watering weights. --- Repeated this process until the cup weighted at least 300g. --- There was no runoff. - [+00:08]: Took the saturated weight after watering, ------ Gorilla Goat #2 » 325.8g --- Marked the watering date on the side of the cup. Also marked the saturated weight on the back. --- Placed her back into the tent. - [+00:14]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. Day 04 - Thursday - 09/25/25 - Total Days: 165 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 86.°F [30.0°C] - Humidity: 78.9% - VPD: 0.91 kPa - Soil %: [50, 40, 33, 52, 43, 40, 44, 42] ----------------------------------- - [16:14]: Evening check on the 3x3 veg tent. --- Looking beautiful in the veg garden! --- Mother growth is healthy and soil moisture is looking beautiful! --- Was planning on diving into tissue culture this week, but have decided to push it back a week. --- I don’t want to rush things and want another few days to prepare. Independently --- With that said, growth is getting close to the grow light and needs to be topped. - [16:18]: Using a pair of cleaned trimmers, --- Cut and removed about 5-6 inches of canopy growth. --- Nice! Everything is lower and a lot more even. --- The original Garlic Budder #1 mother is beautiful and squat so did not need to top. --- Clones in the propagation tray look healthy and no need to water. - [17:40]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data: ------------------ [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] --------------- ------ 49% - [CH01 FT » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 40% - [CH02 FB » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 33% - [CH03 BT » G20 - TKO] ------ 52% - [CH04 BB » G20 - TKO] ------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ---------------- ------ 42% - [CH05 BL » GR7 - TKO] ------ 40% - [CH06 BR » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #1] ------ 43% - [CH07 FL » GR7 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 42% - [CH08 FR » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#1] --------- Veg: 38% - 45% | Flower: 45% - 55% --------- General: 30% [Dry] «| 45 - 60% [Moist] |» 70% [Wet] - [19:09]: Within the AC Infinity App, --- For the Main Tent [4x4] controller, --- Adjusted the 'Flower [12/12]' Schedule for the exhaust fan. ------ Switched the Mode from ‘CONTINUOUS AUTO’ to ‘CONTINUOUS VPD’ ------ Set the VPD HIGH trigger value to OFF ------ Set the VPD LOW trigger value to 1.1kPa ------ Set the MIN/MAX values to 1/8 ------ Set the VPD Dynamic Transition value to 0.2kPa --- This should cause the fan to ramp up from 1 to 8 when the VPD drops below 1.1kPa and should ramp back down to 1 when the VPD rises above 1.1kPa - [19:21]: Checked the 4x4 tent. --- Heady OG is growing along beautifully and she is smelling dank! --- Top colas are getting pretty fat with trichomes! - [19:32]: Alright! Time to check the trichomes! --- Using my phone’s wide-macro mode (Samsung S22), --- Took a few close-up shots of some of Heady OG’s top buds. --- Mostly seeing clear and cloudy with just speckles of amber just starting. --- Since these are top buds, the bottom growth tends to be less mature. --- Will probably take microscope samples next time in a week or so. --- Wow at this rate, harvest time will probably be in 3-4 weeks! --- Getting stoked! Grow strong my girl! - [19:43]: Quickly checked on the auto-watering system. --- System is still charged and no leaks or kinks found in the tubing. - [19:45]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. Day 05 - Friday - 09/26/25 - Total Days: 166 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 86.2°F [30.1°C] - Humidity: 78.2% - VPD: 0.94 kPa - Soil %: [49, 39, 33, 52, 43, 44, 43, 41] ----------------------------------- - [21:05]: Night check on the 4x4 tent. --- Ca-Caw! Heady OG is looking green and she is growing beautifully! --- Wow some of her buds have swelled to around 2 inches wide! --- Also leaves are getting resin-railed and covered in trichomes! --- Grow strong my girl! - [21:11]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data: ------------------ [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] --------------- ------ 47% - [CH01 FT » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 39% - [CH02 FB » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 33% - [CH03 BT » G20 - TKO] ------ 52% - [CH04 BB » G20 - TKO] ------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ---------------- ------ 43% - [CH05 BL » GR7 - TKO] ------ 45% - [CH06 BR » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #1] ------ 42% - [CH07 FL » GR7 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 40% - [CH08 FR » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#1] --------- Veg: 38% - 45% | Flower: 45% - 55% --------- General: 30% [Dry] «| 45 - 60% [Moist] |» 70% [Wet] - [21:16]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent. --- Veg garden is looking green and healthy! --- All mothers are growing beautifully and growth is thriving! --- Clones in the propagation tray are also looking great! --- Nothing to do tonight in the garden. Cali crasher is a huge girl. She is bulking strong, and just growing like a weed. 🤣. She is under the Hortibloom Solux 350. 🤞🏻 for some nice colas. Everything is going good and she might be on ph water in about 2 weeks. About 3 to 4 weeks from finish. Thank you Hortibloom, and Doctor's Choice. 🤜🏻🤛🏻💪🏻❄️🌱 Thank you grow diaries community for the 👇likes👇, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel👇. ❄️🌱🍻 Happy Growing 🌱🌱🌱 https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g

Hello, Hello! This week has been another pretty solid week. Kind of continuing where we left off from last week. Just continuing to monitor the grow room conditions and make adjustments as need, though its been super solid and not a lot has been needed. I did lower the power of my light back down to 50%, some of my leaves were starting to taco and I came to the conclusion it was due to some of the branches being closer to the lights, but other than that no real issues. I did up the EC by .1 this week so now we are running at 1.0 EC and 5.9-6.1ph. These ladies are really starting to pack on the weight and trichomes this week and looking forward to see the changes over the next week or so! Temps have been pretty stable around 77-78f and around 50-55RH. I did do another round of light defoliation on the day of water change, but nothing too crazy. Getting excited to see these girls finish! As always, any tips, comments, or recommendations are greatly welcomed and appreciated. Thanks everyone, you guys rock!
