Sep 7: Gorilla Cookies is doing great. It’s the biggest of the four plants with the most uniform manifolding job, it’s also the furthest along in flowering and will be the first one to finish. Hopefully by later this month and that we get lots of sun to drive trichome production. Still doing the 730 nm far red light at dusk as a bloom booster, and I’ll keep doing that until the end. And don’t take flash pics of your buds unless you’re then immediately using a far red light to put them into dark mode. Sep 9: bit of defoliation of lower branches and buds to direct plant’s energy upward and to maintain good airflow especially down low. Used my last bit of Cal-Mag as a few leaves on each of the plants was starting to show a minor calcium deficiency. Sep 10: beautiful weekend is probably the best one all summer with nice sun, no smoke and perfect room temperature sort of weather. Sitting here a minor gust of wind blew her over. This the fifth time a plant has blown over lately but first time for this one. The 5 gallon bags are big enough for what I want but still easy to move around to maximize sunlight. A drawback is the small pot needs to be stabilized by filled buckets. Sep 12: these buds are forming quickly and she is ahead of the other three plants by at least a week. Raising odour level to normal which is probably pretty loud for other people who can still smell most things. The tops are starting to look white when viewed from a distance so that’s pretty cool.

Fast Buds StarDawg auto Day 32 from sprout viparspectra xs2000 dialed in at 75% watering every other day to every two days Well this girl is in that pre flowering stretch! I love that she is finally taking off and reaching a taller size. I added half a tablespoon of down to earth 4-4-4 to 3 cups of happy frog soil to top dress during watering. Hopefully that gives her a small boost and doesnt cause any nutrient burn like i ran into my last grow. see you all next week! happy growing!

This lady has turned into an absolute beast, starting to be really frosty with trichomes and, believe it or not, I can actually smell the purple lemonade in it, this has became a really beautiful plant and I only expect it to go maybe another two weeks. The size of this thing is unbelievable though, so big for an auto. Can’t wait to get it into jars!

🌱 Eternity Grow Cup: Week 1 Report – The Journey Begins 🌟 First and foremost, a huge thank you to Grow Diaries, the incredible community, and all the amazing sponsors that make this journey possible. Big shoutouts to my core supporters: Aptus Holland, Pro-Mix Soil, TrolMaster, ThinkGrow LED, Future of Grow LED, and CannaKan. And for this special Eternity Grow Cup run, I’m deeply grateful to have Zamnesia and Plagron on board, providing seeds and the game-changing Green Sensation. Your support inspires me to put my all into this grow! 💚 🌿 Week 1 Highlights: Slow but Steady Progress This week has been all about resilience and careful nurturing. Despite colder-than-ideal temperatures, the Zamnesia Runtz seedlings are showing their strength and determination. Here’s how things are looking: Environment Stats • Daytime Temps: ~18°C • Nighttime Temps: ~14°C • Humidity (RH): ~60% • Root Support: Heating mat keeping the root zone warmer, ensuring the seedlings stay cozy even when ambient temps drop. Growth Update • All five phenos (labeled Runtz #1–5) have sprouted and are now showing their first leaves. • Growth is slow due to the low temperatures, but the Pro-Mix HP with Biofungicide and Mycorrhizae is proving to be an amazing medium—supporting healthy roots and steady development. • No nutrients yet, just plain water, allowing the seedlings to establish themselves naturally in this excellent soil. Faith in the Pheno Hunt I’m holding onto the dream of finding that special passion-fruit pheno I adored in the past. It’s still early days, but I believe in the magic of this strain and the promise each seed holds. Educational Focus: Germination to Week 1 Care The Importance of Root Warmth in Cold Conditions Maintaining a consistent root-zone temperature is crucial when growing in a cold environment. Here’s how I’ve adapted: • Using a heating mat under the pots to keep the roots warm while the surrounding air remains cooler. • Ensuring the soil stays evenly moist, as dry conditions can amplify the impact of cold. Minimal Feeding Philosophy For the first week, I stick to plain water—letting the soil and its microbial life do the heavy lifting. This allows the seedlings to establish strong roots without risk of overfeeding or salt buildup. Patience is Key Early growth may seem slow, especially in cooler climates, but this is the foundation stage. Each small leaf and root is setting the stage for explosive growth in the weeks to come. Visual Storytelling: A Peek Behind the Scenes This week, I’ve documented every detail through photos and videos to share the full story: • Photos: Close-ups of all five phenos, capturing their early beauty. • Videos: A general end-of-week overview and a behind-the-scenes look at my process, shot with my Sony A6000 on a tripod. • These visuals not only highlight the progress but also offer a deeper look into the tools and techniques I’m using. Looking Ahead: Building Momentum As the journey continues, I’m confident these seedlings will pick up momentum. Next week, I’ll be keeping an eye on root development and early veg growth while maintaining the same environment and feeding approach. Community Love & Thanks I want to thank Grow Diaries and this incredible community for making this journey so rewarding. To all the participants: good luck, and let’s keep learning and growing together! Let’s make this cup one for the history books. Stay tuned for Week 2, where we’ll dive deeper into the evolution of these amazing plants. Until then, keep growing, keep dreaming, and let’s make magic happen! 🌟 Genetics - Runtz https://www.zamnesia.com/6000-zamnesia-seeds-runtz-feminized.html Nutrients - Plagron https://plagron.com/en/hobby - Aptus Holland https://aptus-holland.com/ Controls - Trol MAster https://www.trolmaster.eu/ LED - https://www.futureofgrow.com/en LED - https://www.thinkgrowled.com Soil - https://www.promixgardening.com/en Germination - Cannakan https://cannakan.com/?srsltid=AfmBOopXr-inLXajXu3QFgKXCXXos4F1oEvScjMKIB5MR5dk8-GJ-F49 DOGDOCTOR 15% off As always thank you all for stopping by, for the love and for it all , this journey of mine wold just not be the same without you guys, the love and support is very much appreciloved and i fell honored with you all in my life With true love comes happiness Always believe in your self and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart , be a giver and the universe will give back to you in ways you could not even imagine so As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Más una semana con lluvia consecutiva y dias con poco solo directo. Todavia un fuerte crecimiento vegetativo y muchas hojas junto a los espacios inter nudos. Esta semana he empezado con fertilización mezcla organico y mineral ( Bionova Autoflowering Supermix + Fish Mix Biobizz - plano Trypack All in Outdoor/ Soil pack).

My second growroom is built and the girls have moved in. This new strain combines two well-received parents, Juanita la Lagrimosa (Spanish for "Juanita the Tearful") and Royal Highness, which are themselves genetic hybrids of other precursor strains: Juanita the Tearful from Queen Mother and a Mexican-Afghan blend; Royal Highness from Dance Hall and Respect 13. On and on the strains date back in agricultural time, each new variety with its own unique smell, taste, color, high and medical benefit. However, in the past decade, a goal of all this tinkering has been what some producers are starting to call “Royal Respect” with the soul of marijuana's benefits going toward both body and mind. Painkiller XL is notable for its near-equal representation of 6 percent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 7 percent cannabidiol (CBD), achieved by a seed that's 70 percent sativa and 30 percent indica. While the sativa variety of cannabis is widely known for producing more of a mental, cerebral high, and indica has a reputation for contributing more toward its physical high, other factors are more important to consider: THC is the compound given most of the credit for that head high, with CBD takes the credit for marijuana's many proven medicinal benefits, which range vastly from relieving pain, anxiety, migraines, fibromyalgia and even mad cow disease to easing many of the most deleterious symptoms of AIDS, diabetes, epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. These are just a handful of the dozens of ailments marijuana is being prescribed to combat by doctors across the globe and in more than a dozen U.S. states. Cooperatives at medical marijuana dispensaries have been at the forefront of providing CBD-rich cannabis buds and oils for their patients, who undoubtedly appreciate being able to purchase the strain best-suited to ease their particular ailments. This new strain joins others rich in both CBD and THC like Euphoria, Royal Medic, Medical Mass and Danceworld that seek to actually not necessarily downplay cannabis' psychoactive effects in favor of optimizing its healing role, but instead equalize the two. According to the California-based Steep Hill Cannabis Analysis Laboratory, this equalization brings to the cannabis user not just the physically healing aspects, but also the spiritually and psychologically healing benefits as well. There are other strains with very little THC and more CBD than Painkiller XL , but rare are such splendid balances. Producers of this strain say it produces a considerable amount of pain relief, with a mild, relieving mental euphoria. With a flowering time of eight weeks, the Painkiller XL seed can produce 525 to 575 grams per plant indoors. Inside, the dried yield is 400 to 450 grams per plant. Inside, the plants average in height at about 31.5 inche (80 cm); outside, the average height is about 53 inches (135 cm), with harvest time at the end of September. THC: 9% CBD: 9% Yield Indoor: 500-550gr m2 Yield Outdoor: 500-550 grams per plant dried Height Indoor: 60 - 100 cm Height Outdoor: 120 - 150 cm Flowering time: 8 weeks Harvest month: Late September Genetic background: Juanita la Lagrimosa x Royal Highness Type Sativa: 75%; Indica: 25% Effect: Physical, clear high. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 19 Day 7 Now I definetly have realized the importance of right pH-level, my old pH-meter clearly didn't work. The new pH-meter showed 8.1 in my regular tapwater, way too high. So now the buds has started to grow again, they were purple earlier and now since she got water and nutes with right pH-level, the buds are turning back to green. And I also added some more nutes to her menu, 2018-02-03 Added some pics of the grow room after I cleaned the floor and putting the girls back in, and also added a video of the reality of a grower having some problems with too high pH-level. Since I'm still a novice growing cannabis I learn new things everyday, and hopefully the next round will be more or less perfect - perfection needs practice.
