On week 7 she is still putting out a lot of new pistils. Colas are fattening up but still have a few more weeks to go. The smell is sweet and fruity so far but its still early as trichs are still developing. Her top colas got a little too close to the lights and may be fox tailing or shes just more sativa of a pheno either way shes making some long colas and Im happy about that :)

Non riesco più ad aggiornare il diario come sempre comunque è stata una settimana bellissima! Ogni varietà sta completando le fioritura in maniera abbondante. Infiorescenze dure e molto resinose si formano in ogni parte delle piante. Sembrano tutte XXL di dimensioni! Molto profumate ogni varietà ha il suo raffinato aroma, non manca molto alla fase finale della fioritura. Sono felice di ogni varietà, complimenti a chi le ha create! Un abbraccio a tutti

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. Just waiting it out now. No added nutrients, just water. Bubba and Black Dog have exceeded their expected flowering time, and both are at 95% cloudy with 5% or so still clear. Chemdawg and The New can take up to 70 days or more so we’ll see if they’re late too. Bubba is a foxtailing machine. It was one weekend in early Flower when heat/humidity got out of hand while I was away for 3 days. She hermied a bit and I’ve had my eye out for bananas ever since (find a few every so often). Taking a risk to keep her in the tent with the others but if I catch them early enough the others should be ok. Interestingly I found a YouTube video of a guy that ran bubba and had the same foxtail development (also the same scent description and look overall). Nothing like the gorgeous fat purple budded girl I had last year but the citrus smell on this lime green bud pheno/version is impressive. Curious to see how the smoke compares. Scent combo from all four plants is amazing!

This has been such a long journey, finally starting to see some real stack up. I started my first photoperiod grow with 3 strains. This OG Kush and Sour Diesel from RQS, and a land race Afghani strain from Zamnesia. The OG Kush came inside a month ago to make room on my tiny deck for the Christmas tree Afghani out on the porch. The Afghani is over 7 feet tall and frosty stacking hard, picture labeled. The Sour Diesel grew far too big for a tiny suburban deck, she got chopped and relocated. I hope i made the right decisions, regardless man is this growing FUN!

This is my first grow indoor, 2 plants in a tend 80 x 80 x 160 cm. Using a mix substract, in a 7 liters vase. Germination was done with the paper towel method. At the first week one of them was stagnated, so I forced up the seed and probably hurt a cotyledone.

Defoliated a bit more, feeding sugar royal and green sensation. The smell is really coming through now.

Day 54 of flower! There in there final week, nothing but ❄️ all over the buds, be very surprised if they reach there predicted target of 65 days of flower. The smell of lemons literally making my eyes water as I enter the room, next update will certainly be harvest… what are people’s predictions on yield? Should run a little competition😂 untill next time!

So are you guys okay? You know so much to me! My situation as a grower is growing and many possibilities are opening up for me for new fantastic projects, to which the first thing for me is the mega-passion that I have for these girls, who at the same time give me fun, well-being, social life, introspection, meditation, high if necessary, I would really do everything for her if I lived in a country where this is legal, but unfortunately I can't and you don't know how much I envy people in America who can freely grow and show their results on Instagram and many other social networks that I hate but in So if people follow you you can even survive this, this can't be done in Italy, I can only live on the sidelines and I'll be happy in my only experience of myself producing the best possible weed on the planet where I am! Apart from this rant, I wanted to say that the new grow box is the intelligent ventilation system that regulates the air in relation to the humidity and temperature in the box, I must say that for me it is a huge leap in quality that I am sure will also be reflected on my girls! Thanks for everything Mars Hydro you are my source of pride and happiness for trusting me that I can have the same professional home tools as anyone else on this planet who wants good and natural weeda!
