The first week of flowering went great! The girls stretched nicely and they are growing vigorously. The pistils started showing up quite quickly, only a few days after I flipped them. I increased the PK as they showed slight signs of deficiency. They are packed with shoots, almost too much I would say, I hope they will have enough space for the buds to develop properly and healthily.

Day 49-56 (Day 50) I hooked up my carbon filter to the humidity controller and it is keeping the room exactly at 65-70% RH night and day. It looks like it turns on about every 45 minutes for about 5 minutes so it allows me to run the co2 bag properly. I don’t even have to use my dehumidifier. The room is 100% dark now too. Even the small red lights on the space heaters. Not going to feed anything other than foliars this week. (Day 51) Blackberry #4 & #8 #9 and white widows #2 & #3 are all confirmed males. Chopped them down and recycled the soil. White widow #1 is the first official female and I’m starting to see pistils on the m39/zkittlez too. Plants seem to be responding to the light fairly well. It’s hung 32 inches above the canopy which is as high as it can go without strapping it to the roof, which may have to happen one day. The plant can get within 6 inches of the light so I’m probably good. The ppfd output is 1800umols which is super high so I want to hang them as high as possible in veg. I wish I could rent a ppfd meter to see if I’m in range at 32”. (Day 52) Blackberry breath #3 is the first official bbb female to show. I decided to scrap BCTG #2. It sounded like a good strain but after looking at pictures of people who have grown it online, it doesn’t look up to my standards. I found a very small patch of powdery mildew on one of the leaves so I’m not even going to start with that shit again. I’m really thinking about scrapping the m39/zkittlez and the white widow too. I’m praying that I get at least 4 females of BBB. I tried super cropping for the first time today. A few of the branches I definitely squished a bit too much as they turned quite brown and looked dead within a day. (Day 53) Despite the m39/zkittlez vigorous growth, I know it will be a shitty strain that will most likely herm as it’s from a bag seed of low grade weed. I’ve decided instead of scrapping it, I will use it for experimenting with a new chemical powdery mildew preventative. If it dies oh well. I doused it and chopped a limb off a few hours ago during lights on and it seems fine. (Day 54) I’m about 90% sure BBB 6&7 are both female. #2 & #5 are looking like males but too early too tell. #1 is really tough to say. Just gotta be patient I guess. #3 has a great spread out structure, I hope it doesn’t stretch too much. The scrogging is a priority. I put up the scrog net just to see how it fits. It’s a little small around the edges but that’s fine. So it’s looking like out the 9, I would be lucky to get 4 fems if #1 & 7 would show forsure already. If #1 is a female I have my 4 and I can throw out the white widow. The white widow is just insurance at this point. Super cropped plants have recovered nicely. Going to continue doing this more. I’ve noticed that the plants that were put into my custom soil mix have very small fan leaves compared to the fabric pots of straight promix and dry amendments. Could also be the fabric pot is helping dry downs too. (Day 56) I’m seeing some yellowing so I’m going to give a foliar spray just too keep some deficiencies at bay. All of the plants are stunted except the m39 and bbb#3. Node spacing has also reduced significantly. I can’t help but feel it’s from the intensity of my lights but maybe they just need a transplant into some new soil something. Luckily the stunt and droop is only really happening to what I suspect are male plants anyway. Leaves are looking twisted and gnarled on #5. Going to move it into the veg tent for a while. I’m going to mix up and amend my Destiny/coco blend today and transplant bbb#3 and 6 & 7 in a few days. I mixed them up in contractor bags making sure to toss and turn vigorously. Here is my blend: 2 bags 40L Destiny soil 2 bags 40L coco 700ml glacial rock dust 700ml oyster shell flour 700ml nature’s pride bloom 300ml basalt rock dust 150ml langbeinite 150ml nature’s pride veg I am also going to try the Destiny top dress as it’s only 13 bucks a bag and full of good shit. I’m trying to not feed heavy in flower other than 2 or 3 top dresses and 2 teas and nothing after week 5. Because it’s taken so long for the plants to show sex, when I transplant into the 10 gallon pots, they should have more than enough nutrients too keep them going strong all the way through flower with just water. I’m a little skeptical about that though. Besides teas and dressings are fun. Everything should be broken down by week 8 or so. Will transplant in a few days.

Its supper time I'll be back. Hello. This week went smooth. It's powdery mildew season outside, my zucchini, squash, cucumbers and pumpkin, all have it. I spray everything with half an ounce of apple cider vinegar to1 quart of water. I've been trying to keep the humidity down and be proactive about it. Treat the root zone with cal mag. Spray something on the leaves (not fungicide). The buds are fattening up. Still a few weeks to go. I flower for 10 weeks, and flush for the last 14 days. I'll add more later. Have Fun and Chuckles! I mentioned in week 3 I had the chance to take some clones from 3 stressed plants. Barneys Farm Pink Kush made it through, but the Godfather Kush OG and the Tom Ford Pink Kush didn't. Luckily when I phoned him he said " Yea come over, I want to get your opinion of my plants anyway". So I'll keep ya updated. Chuck. Wow, he gave me a small plant of Tom Ford Pink Kush. A bit of welling and dealing. And I got 1 cutting of the Godfather Kush OG. So one more try at that one. It was a hot and windy day here 29 c. in the greenhouse. Chuck. It's monday and I change my nutriant water, and put time into the plants. Pruning, trimming and training. With experance you can see what needs to be done to get what you want. Chuck.

Week 10, so from today I stopped watering the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe and on Saturday no more light as well. Sunday is harvest day finally. Not much changed, I raised up the water with 25ml so the Purple Punch gets 200ml 2 x a day. That's all, since last week I started giving 13 hours darkness and 11 hours light and from Monday will be 12/12 after I harvested the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe and I can use the tent only for her. Fertilization will happen on the same days. Sunday fun day, Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is harvested. Purple Punch left alone. From tomorrow I will switch the light schedule 12/12. End of the week Purple Punch is 43 cm.

Start of week 3 looking great

Week 9, Day 63, Day 19 of Flower. Once again all is going well, girls are doing nicely. PK1 is still larger than PK2 but PK2 is getting larger also. Buds are starting to bulk and some nice colas starting to form. I am very pleased with how they are doing. After this coming week 4 of Flower I am going to switch to only KoolBloom 2-45-28 for 2 to 3 weeks at a 1/4 tsp/gallon. Any suggestions or comments?

Wow all her pistils have changed colour! Trichomes all milky! She's absolutely smashed flowering quick! She is as frosty and smelly as can be!! Will be harvested within 24h.

Week 8 Flower The last week of flush for these two. They were taken down on Day 56, after a 16 Day flush. I think Twin2 could have finished at 7 weeks, but of course I hadn't planned for this, or I would have flushed sooner. So she was taken to the originally planned 8 weeks. Twin2 has also foxtailed quite a bit, from only slightly higher temps and also because she's having a last attempt at catching any pollen in order to reproduce. Although the pots were slightly damp still when I harvested, it is best to take them down when they're dry. The only reason I didn't, was because I knew I'd be too busy the next day, and there were plants in veg that were desperate to be thrown into the flower tent! The pics do make them look wetter than they were though. Their fan leaves were taken off and they were each hung in seperate boxes, where they'll dry as slowly as possible for between 6-10 days. I dont suffer with very high humidity, so I'm able to do this without any issues. When I feel it is too humid, I simply burp the box for the first day or 2 once a day. The slower the dry the better the buds will taste/smell. Once she's dry enough she'll be trimmed and jarred for curing. It's going to be a pretty tough one for keeper pheno! They both have similar but very different smells. By that I mean, they both smell very floral and sweet, but T2 smells extra sweet (although definitely not as dense). That doesn't mean T1 doesn't smell just as nice. Hers buds are thicker and more dense, so even though I've favourited T2 in the pics, I think I'm leaning towards T1 still. But in all honesty it's still down to dry weight and the taste test! This can all be looked forward to in the harvest update! It's been a seriously fun diary with these two twins. We are in week 2 of the flowering. Today I added Bloombastic. The plants forgot they were superscrogged and just grew as fast as before. The height can be a problem in the next weeks, I hope the stretch is over now and they can concentrate on building flowers. Day 36 I gave them some more Bloombastic. And I took off almost every leave and small branch under the net because they would not get enough light and they shall concentrate on getting big buds instead of small flowers. Day 37: Due to size problems I decided not to take a picture of every plant every day but one pictures of all a day. Plus when the flowers are getting bigger, I will stay focused on the growth on some of them (not all, that is business secret 😆). Also I will take pictures of the finished flowers at the end, don't know yet of all or just a few (business secret). But I will definately tell the weight of 'em all in the end so stay tuned 😎 Day 38: I knew I would get size problems again. I brought them all under the net again. A few branches broke during that action. But that's just the way it is. They are too big so I have to find solutions. My solution is "getting them under the net". Kinda works out but I will see the result tomorrow, today it's been kinda tricky not to hurt them. Day 40: I put one branch under the net it was too high and did not get enough light because of that. Should be fixed now. The flowers are coming nice and slowly. I am so excited, I can hardly wait. Day 41: I had to put some branches under the net again.

Today is Karen Kush day. Zamnesia has created this crazy strain with truly exceptional aromas and we have tried it. First of all, I invite you to look at the other specimen in the diary "BIG KAREN KUSH" which has been worked with topping, lst, fimming and even a central splitting. Very beautiful at the top, many buds but let's move on to our plant which lacks nothing, grown straight with an important main cola and a crazy appearance that makes it impossible not to love it. The outside part of this plant is the only thing I can't show you: the smell, guys it's an absolute wonder and it is combined with that fantastic oily effect that resinous plants have, pulensola was all a cream. The plant requires some skills in controlling fertilizers, it is very voracious even of nitrogen at the beginning it discolors, but we know how to look at what the plant tells us and we have always kept it under control with a slightly higher dose of fertilizer than the others. In flowering it also seemed to tend to go into deficiency but Plagron does not allow this, if you use Plagron and you know how to recognize the deficiencies in the initial stage you can forget about seeing yellow leaves before time. Especially in flowering Alga Bloom is perfect for reconstituting a plant with deficiencies then the enzymes, amino acids and many other bio elements present in the additives do the rest. Guys I recommend not to underestimate the additives it is true we can grow even with only the basic fertilizers but the additives give a pimp that you do not expect, I have used a significant series now and I have had immortal results I must say. this plant got so stressed out. shes had a wonky light schedule alot of her life. i had just gotten her used to the indoor light schedule and i increased the light intensity. when doing so, it reset the timer on the app. i still prefer mechanical lol. anyways she them got blasted for like 20 hours and then i changed fhe light schedule so her lights on is at night, which then again stretched her schedule weird. i did happen to take a nice cutting though. 7/20 yesterday i noticed a few smaller bugs in fhe top soil. Then today, a damn wolf spider crawled out of the flower pot. I didnt end up killing them because theyre probs there for the other bugs 👍🤷🏽‍♂️

No big changes lately. 2 weeks after last post and seem getting thicker and I see few pistils got darker colour. Buds not very voluminous. Yet they still grow and need few further weeks.
