First day of the 4th week. The autopot system was initiated for CBD3 and CBD4, as their roots reached the bottom of the pot. The reservoir was prepared and adjusted to a pH of 5.8. Now, the plants take control of their water needs. CBD5 will be submerged in water the following day, C22. The air pump operates on the light cycle (18 hours on, 6 hours off). A magnesium deficiency was detected. Several sprays with Epsom salt were applied. 3.5 grams per 1 liter.

The other coco ones haven't gone into reveg and almost look done. Biscotti Mintz and Bahama Bussdown look 🔥 well impressed. The mutant Biscotti Mintz (soil) has come along nicely and looks amazing. I don't get why that hasn't revegged as its surrounded buy the others that have. The 2 at the back, (Bahama Bussdown) ones taken a slight knock and revegged and the other one has just got to heavy and collapsed. Again looks near enough done so now need to think of a plan of action for curing as tent will be occupied for at least another month. So I think that's it with the problems 🤣 .. Veg Week 3 The Plants DAY 22 - Transplanted T.O.5. Not Root Bound, but definitely could see the bright white roots all around the container. The plant started stretching almost immediately. So cool to see plants move. DAY 26 - Finished Transplanting for this week-- T.O. 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 13 to ~1 gallon pots. Watering Starting watering every day toward the end of the week (Day 26). Days are starting to get warmer. Growing in fabric pots in Southern California typically requires daily watering starting in June. I've learned through the years that the plant just sucks up the water and boosts in size. The more water you can give it without rotting the roots - the bigger the plant. There are still differences in strains - some plants just like to get dry before the next drenching. Couple more weeks until the June solstice (June 20). Nutrients Building up the arsenal in my cupboard--Bud Candy + Overdrive from AN, Kelp Meal from Down To Earth. I usually don't add too much stuff because the soil is fairly loaded from the bag.

Topped this little herercane on day 11 and she is starting to grow some little branches. I upped the maxigro to .5 tsp per gallon. Other than that just playing the waiting game....

Growth has been explosive with the strain. Tops coming from everywhere after one topping. I plan on taking a cutting from this particular strain I have a great feeling about this one.

Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. So, Im growing 1 Pineapple Express, in soil, and 1 hydroponically. This diary I’m using it for soil records(have a strawberry cheesecake auto diary, for hydro). The one in soil is 2x bigger than the rest of the plants in the same 4x4 tent, and I rotate them every other day! The reason for doing this, is due to always seeming to have 1 way bigger than the others. All in all, it’s been a good week! Been really, REALLY appreciating the perfect ph Advanced Nutrients!!!! I still check the ph, and due to the different type of grows, I do have to have a little higher ph for soil, but it’s been consistently ~6.2-6.3
