Week 12 has started well. The flowers are still growing and the smell is still great :) I applied weekly nutrients on day 1 of week 12. On week 12 day 4 I added Z7 enzyme to my reservoir and I defoliated the girls to bring in more light to the lower canopy. On day 5 I decided to harvest two colas from Pheno 2. It seems to be finishing faster than the other phenos(mostly amber hairs although trichomes are not mature after closer inspection... I want to experience what effect I get from early harvest so to compare to later harvest. From now on I will leave the plants alone until they are all closer to harvest. 😅

Really good looking plant, I'd say she's definitely a sativa by the shape of her leaves and the distance between internodes as well, I think this lady is ideal to be trained, I guess she'll be a big bush full of nice colas, let's see what we can do! Onwards and upwards my friends. Another solid week of growing, spreading, training and topping. I'm thinking these outdoor ladies are gonna be pretty nice.

Our Nectar Drip #3 is growing beautifully and healthily. It's not a giant in terms of characteristics or technique, but it looks very interesting. It's been trimmed and will be flowering in 7-10 days. Selected Techniques - This plant will grow with a classic main lining but without the traditional lst application that spreads the plant across the pot. This is only because the plant, or rather this phenotype, has very short internodal spacing and hardens quickly, risking cracking. So, a healthy classic main lining (topping mainfolding 3 internodes topping x2 and then x4, maybe if the plant goes well). We're 100% organic and 1000% Plagron, as always. The soil we've chosen is the recently launched Plagron Bio LightMix, which will allow us to get our growing process off to a smoother and more reliable start, without the sudden changes that liquid fertilizers can cause. Struggled keeping humidity up I think it’s my filter but I don’t know. Tried most tricks in the book and had to invest in a humidifier ( not the best either). I know it’s frowned upon to use foliage spray sometimes as it can cause mould/light burn but my humidity levels are some what in the middle

The Apple Betty babies are doing great 😊 I’m very pleased with the results so far, I just wished I would have known they would have such a large stretch, they D almost doubled in size in 14 days. At day 8 I stopped tucking the branches and allowed them to grow up. In hindsight, I probably should have kept going for another couple of days. They continued to stretch rapidly all the way up to date 12 or so, much more than my other strain that I have going as well. At day 10 I cleaned up some of the small bud sites and leaves that were below the 1st trellis. These sites do not get enough light to make anything good, and take away energy from the main tops as they grow and compete. A quick snip here and there will really help the end result. At day 13 I decided to add a second trellis net to provide support to the tops that came up so fast. They seem to have stopped their main stretch faze, and are looking happy and healthy now. I’ve continued my water, water, feed schedule and have not seen any cause for concern. The girls are taking a little over a gallon of water every 72 hours at this point. Humidity is being controlled automatically with my in-line fan and humidifier. RH is set to 57% and temps hover between 77-80 degrees with lights on, and about 70-72 with light off thanks to my furnace being back on for the cooler temps. The 2x4 5 gallon girl is doing great as well. 😊During the stretch, she flourished just as the girls in my big tent did as well. She is going to have some great bud, the branch structure is nicely developed with tight node spacing and large tops. I’ve been plucking off all the lower growth, and tucking leaves as they block bud sites. I will be doing a defoliation next week. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

The plants are starting to fill out the scrognet. Might leave them vegging for 1, 2 or more weeks. We'll see how it goes.

Just topped for the first time

Medium: Yep - still gonna beat on the DWC drum. It just gets better and easier every run. Almost religiously changed out the res. every week and this was definitely overkill. Could’ve easily gotten away with every 10 days to 2 weeks. Stuck with peroxide this run again instead of going with bennies via hydroguard or hygrozyme. The results speak for themselves on a 6 week veg. That’s for sure. Still save’n them dolla bills on the nutes too. Minimal nute mixing (as well as simplistic regime) and for what we’re using in each res. - gotta be easily a 50-60% savings on nute consumption vs. more traditional methods. Honestly makes one wonder why organic soil grows are seemingly all the rage. I’ve found terp. Profiles, structure, plant health and of course yields to all be just that much better in straight water. What more can I say, we love our DWC. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️ The dueling methods were the whole point of this grow. Our best attempt to illustrate the differences between LST vs. LST/Topping ie. just how significant is the difference in terms of overall production? The truth of this test is a bit of a double edged sword. On the one hand, topping does have a significant effect on overall yield. This fact is regardless of whether or not from seed or clone.That said and when it comes to clones, you still have to be mindful of the drawbacks of further dividing (and thus reducing nug size for) main branches. Our topped clone #2 is a perfect example of this. While the structure demonstrates significantly more branching, the nug sizes are also significantly smaller. As you’ll see in the yield details it does somewhat make up for this through a higher overall weight but it was also a much less manageable plant than #1. Root mass on the topped plant was heavier and bulkier, drinking much more water than its counterpart. And in late flower half the plant was pretty much falling over. While some of this is attributable to the extremely hollow stems (and thus a carbon deficiency), making the most of the grow light proved difficult with the topped plant as bushy as it was. Basic summary - if ur cloning for profit or efficiency, stick with straight LST and grow a whole bunch of em. If I had to do it again I don’t think i would’ve bothered with topping - just for the sake of greater ease🤔🤔🤔. Then again, I’m greedy as fuck when it comes to my yields so I Could totally see myself trying to max everything out and go for broke🤙🤙. 3/5 volume bars for the rating - we accomplished what we were trying to. Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 Awwwwwe yeah - down to where it counts and these girls were champs💪. While internodal spacing was longer than necessary and overall bud size was smaller than average; these plants pushed out some solid weight👍😎👍. Ran er through a 7 day dry and all jarred up on a slow cure. Final numbers: Total yield - clone #1: 5.14oz = 143.92g Total yield - clone #2: 6.01oz = 168.28g Approx. est. yield: 600g/m2 divides by 4.8, multiplied by 2 (approx. for 2/3 the cabinets sq/ft) = 250g per 0.41m2 Actual yield: 11.15oz. per 0.41m2 = 312.2g per 0.41m2. That is some seriously good production right there😎👍😎. The high end avg. for this strain is 650g/m2. When you crush that out to my space and the numbers above, it works to about 270g per 0.41m2. Our actual yield still destroys the high end avg. by almost a zip and a half👍👍👍. The cree cob does it again. Fuck’n jazz hands y’all🙌! With results like these you could really give the whole grow a 9/10. It’s only an 8 in my book because it’s not my preferred high. Otherwise, any time you’re north of 5+ oz. per plant, it’s a good day at the office👍👍. Props👊👊👊 No choice but to shoutout Humboldt genetics. These beans have treated me so well and I can’t say enough Good things about the strains this organization puts out👌👍👌. Other than that, thanks to everyone who dropped by for a look and a comment. This week was good , didn’t noticed too much growth until I look at pictures and the buds have def gotten fatter and filling in. Still unsure why the leaves are curling slightly. Mayb too strong of a light , I can’t raise it too much more. Contemplating changing to 18&6 instead of 20&4 but i think it could shock them any suggestions?

The new additional nutrients I received from House and Garden are nothing short of amazing. I contacted them about a possible sponsorship and they sent me the entire like of nutrients for my entire grow. The first thinning and structure happened this week and everyone responded well, especially the Black dog OG. The San Bacio Gelato is showing its vigor as being the tallest plant out of the for and expectedly so. Friday the 19th of May Day 23 of 12/12 recently started with the new nutrients mills part A and mills part B ppm 870 all in full flower now still not impressed with the front left plant but what can you do il be happy with a small yield from that one hopefully the quality is as good as my last grow 🍁😎 also need to upgrade my light been using cheap lights for awhile now and the grow is better each time so I’d like to see what I can do with a well known light from a good company

WW#1: Opening the jar stinks up the whole house...kinda like if you had a basket full of lemons, limes, and oranges...and left them in the trunk of your car for a week of 100 degree weather...very sour/funky. Only one week of cure so far, so can't give a full review on taste, but it's pungent and kinda tastes like it smells...sour and funky with a hint of fresh cut oak (or is it mahogany??) I've gotten a little bit noseblind to the pungency, and now I'm saying that an upclose sniff of a bud smells kinda like a mix of the funky rotten citrus fruit I mentioned before, but doused with a little turpentine. Short/stocky, good branching able to support it's own bigass buds. The main cola was 100g, wet, and just under a foot long. Total dry weight was 85g. WW#2: Murdered on 8/26! Main cola was almost 15 inches and weighed 120g, wet. She's bigger and badder...can't wait to taste her...😍 Total dry weight was 90g. I updated my lighting to reflect actual draw wattage and my grow room space to 4 square feet because that's all that these two plants required. I think the numbers are a more accurate representation of the truth about my yield for the two White Widows in this grow. Can't wait to smoke her!

After the harvest I did a bud wash with hydrogen peroxide. I wanted to make sure that the plant is clean. For this; I needed to cut the branches down because no bucket is big enough to bud wash a whole plant. This makes the drying time faster since smaller branches dry more quickly because of less water retention. She dryed for about a week.
