This week went well I am continuing to harvest buds as they become ready. The leaves are yellowing more and more letting me know that she is almost complete. I think the lower bids have about one more week until they are ready and that will complete the harvest for Big Girl. Little girl is now declining, she has not branches out or grown new tops.

Started noticing some nitrogen problems from growing in MiracleGrow

Start of week 7(May 3rd 2022). I’ve been using Lotus Grow every watering and so I decided to flush the pots with 7x their water holding capacity in the bathtub. I will be alternating between Lotus bloom/boost and a plant based “tea” from Dragonfly Earth Medicine called Fat Flowers. Lights were too close and caused marks on the leaves which look like deficiencies, I’ll keep a close eye until I can be sure. The petioles are purpling on the indoor plants as well(might be genetics though from the Strawberry Nuggets).

Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res

Everything is going great Royal Gorilla is the farthest along . It is very compact and starting to get a little frosty. Green Gelato is the second farthest along. Doing well. It is very spaced out LSD is coming along. I think because it has probably double the branches, it is taking longer to develop HulkBerry was put into 12/12 4 days later but is looking good. Plant structure is very similar to the Green Gelato

I'm very happy with the outcome, outdoors this time around. It's my largest plant to date and it smokes great! I randomly gave this strain a try as it's packed with great genetics and it did not disappoint. It grew large considering the time it had to grow. It was constrained by a medium amount of sun light per day (4-6hrs) and it's pot size (40L) the roots were tightly packed I used bio fertilizers Bio buzz grow Peruvian seabird guano and organic potassium for veg Biobizz bloom top max compost teas in flower It smokes and taste great already. Great easy grow, took well to led grow and nutrients never needed to step back. Needed support fairly early on in grow. Heavy flowers not massive but I guess loaded with oils and good stuff. No apple smell or taste with these two phenos at all. Both super heavy chem affairs. One however tastes a lot like gorilla glue, it is one of the parents. This cultivar has shot straight to the top of my lists of grow again. It’s pure fire.

Yes, they are really getting big—so much that the grow tent is now completely full. It has been quite a challenge to keep the humidity under control since I don’t have a proper extractor yet (that will definitely be my next purchase). For now, leaving the tent open has allowed the air to circulate well, and the humidity stays around 45%, which is acceptable. Apart from that, everything has been calm and steady, continuing with the BioBizz feeding schedule and gradually increasing the nutrients to encourage the development of larger colas. The only drawback is that the colas are not turning out as thick as I had hoped. Interestingly, RHC #2 and #3, even though they are not the most robust plants, ended up being the tallest ones, and their colas actually look bigger than RHC #1. Overall, I’m happy and counting down the days with excitement.

The purple punch is doing very well with her companion banana purple punch sisters! She already even has a wonderful smell. I'm very excited for her to get a little lst later in the week. Just trying to be patient I wanna do lst but I feel it's even still a little early. I have been tucking leaves but I may defoliate a small amount here soon when I perform LST.
