The ladies light schedule was changed to 12/12 on Oct.30!❤️ The girls were doing great about 1 week after their big defoliation and SCROG being put in, I decided to flip to flower. I had been tucking and bending and had achieved about 80-90% canopy coverage, the last bit should fill in this week as they begin to stretch. During the 1st week of flower transition, I continued to tuck and bend where I could, trying to maintain an even canopy of tops, as well as fill in as many of the squares, as evenly as I can. It becomes a morning and night routine, I check on my humidifier, say good morning, and tuck away for about 5 minutes or so, it doesn’t take much at this point. Once the first week of stretch is through, I stop tucking branches and allow the tops to continue to grow upwards. I find that by using a SCROG method, there isn’t really a whole lot to do…I don’t defoliate until week 3, so it’s just feeding every 3-4 days and filling my humidifier! When I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

So far so good - starting to move indoors at night as the overnight lows are dipping to 5 degrees C- just a bit too cold!! Daytime temps still between 20-25 so still good for life outdoors during the day 💚💚

Really don’t have much to say been a real easy grow even tho temps been getting in mid to high 80’s lately I got a jewelers jewel think it’s cheap cause it’s 10X can’t really see the trichomes to well I seen some amber but I’m sure if it’s not cut down this week may23rd it will definitely be cut next around May 27thish

Final stretch for the Cheese trees twins. Amazing smells inside the grow room. Smells great, but this dank ass smell, lingers in the air. Not sure which is creating this odor, or maybe just a mixture from all the ladies. Straight water for the next week. Once I get them down under the 200 ppm mark, I will be dropping these ladies. The tops of these ladies are super heavy. Light cables are stopping them from bending right over and hitting the floor. These Cheese have been healthy through the entire grow. Haven't lost a single leaf and all remain healthy. One healthy strain and a pleasure to watch grow and bloom. Looks like it will be a breeze to trim up.👍

Into the final week of flower, fun grow. Doing a tapered nute schedule into a 3 day flush this final week. Set up a controlled drying and curing tent for this harvest, hoping to get a lot better after the chop with this go around, I’ve put a lot of time into understanding drying and curing and hope it pays off.

Week 🌸

This haze is super sugary, has a piney pungent smell and vapor is thick and flavorful and smooth. This plant had a smaller LED light for most of its life until week 8 when it was put under the 400watt HPS which may account for why its yielded so much less then her tent mate. Very nice uplifting and psychoactive heady effects. Lessons learned for me this grow are; use smaller pots & monitoring run-off and water enough for run off is important for soil to not get salt build up. I learned a lot in this grow and am so much more confident and ready for my next grow which should be coming pretty soon! Thanks to everyone thats been following along and checking in - it's been fun tracking my grow and recording my progress.

This week I decided to use mother nature and let the cheese finish off outside, currently in winter in the Southern Hemisphere with good mild temps during the day and colder evening temps that should allow the plant to go into trich production over drive before I decide to chop. Plant has been flushed as well in preparations of chop, I am torn between chopping her this week or next week, I do hope that the amber trichs don't come out all of s sudden and turn this grow into sleep medicine🤣🤣 I also have three clones left over that I am running in the tent on a 16/8 light schedule

~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_ 8/28/21 😺 We decided to flower these a little earlier than we originally intended to make room for some new strains...I will never mainline a plant this wide again indoors lol, it seemed cool at the time but as you can see it just takes up more space 😑 👎🏻 ...we gave them their first shot of bloom nutrients yesterday (we typically do this 1 week before flower but things came up and we learned we'll need the tent available)...the calcium def spots seemed to have cleared up naturally on the mainline, the other plants are fairly uniform in color (not too dark anymore), and lower growth has been removed...all systems go for flower! 💪😺, I'm hoping for a significant flowering stretch, the new growth after the last mainline topping is approx. 6inches, if this stretches to 12-14inches it should build 8 really good sized colas per side.. thanks for reading! I just did a solution change yesterday. I was having a issue getting the right amount dialed in. She has shifted into flowering, and is still making progress. She is under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2 320 watt. I have her in Athena blended line nutrition she hopefully bounces back now fast, and makes some great progress. This girl has got some absolutely beautiful leaves. They have a dark tinge to them, that I don't know if it shows through on the pictures, but it is very cool. I think I may have too many buds for the size of my grow space but I can't decide which to trim or if I'm just overthinking things. Ill leave her for now and just tuck away leaves as the bud sites start to develop and then later trim any, if there are any of course, that may not have time or space to grow....... so for now I'll leave her to decide. she looks indica dominant (I've not checked) which suits me, I'm a fan of indica in a growing sense for my space, but means she will be a thirsty girl in my experience, compared to the sativa dominants. You can see in the photos that she has started to take square shape for her canopy space. I was once worried about her leaves touching the £1 emergency blanket I use as light reflection in the grow cupboard but has never been an issue its way too thin to hold anyway near enough heat to ever be an issue so the shaping also come somewhat naturally. shes under a selection of home standard LED bulbs around 10w, random blasts of UVB from a reptile light (I think helps growing with a slight slowing of the auto influence. My own thoughts from previous experiments only.) the other lights remain on 24 hours with a few 5 min breaks in the timer to cool the bulbs down a touch. I of course talk to her/them on a regular basis which has some scientific backing somewhere showing benefit for both of us.

Day 82 - Added a new nutrient to bulk up on PK from Canna. Guide says to do this only once, so fingers crossed. Still trying to figure out how close I am. I keep seeing other pictures of what look to be near leafless buds, and the buds look absolutely huge. The problem for me as a first time grower is that I cannot figure out what the scale is, and so have no idea if the photos I see are very close up or not. Also, I keep seeing others pictures of what look to be really extended and pointy buds, and mine look nothing like those either. Can't tell if it's the angle or the actual shape. I'm sure I'll learn, and I'm pretty sure I'm on the right track. Loving the learning though. Such fun. And macro photography is hard.

This wonderful plant is amazing man, I have fallen in love with this strain and the hard rocks nuggets she has produced, beutiful orange pistils, it's just pure fire. Very dense and compact nuggets guys, she's been 100% organic grown, she has been watered with pure water and beneficial bacteria all the way and also with guano liquid by guanokalong, the aromas are very complex is very gassy stinks like a skunk however it's got some piney in and kush aroma,definitely awesome man need to keep growing this strain many more times no doubt.
