Been busy these past few weeks. 2 of the 4 plants didn’t survive an overly aggressive plant wash, so I had to pop more seeds. 1 of which appears to be a super strong pheno. Got the thrips and mites under control using beneficial nematodes in the soil and cucumeris predatory mite satchels at the base of the manifolds. Apparently the coco I used wasn’t pre buffered as advertised and I ran into a major magnesium deficiency. Could’ve been a lockout due to the dolomite lime I mixed into the medium, but if I had to guess I’d put my money on the coco hogging all of the mg in the worm castings. Top dressed with worm castings and Gaia green 4-4-4 all purpose, and then watered in max dose of cal mag+, cleared the deficiency up it appears. Lots of new lessons being learned this run. Still hopeful of a solid harvest at the end of the day.

They’re chopped we will be checking in again in 7-10 days and start the the whole weighing process. They have beautiful color they got dark now I see the why the name lol. First week to flower (i think all plants stopped growth and only flower) should i be adding Growth nutrients? Also i m going to vacation again, if i come back and the flowers are underwatered again… i will knockout the shit out of my roommate and kick him out. If I woulda left it a little longer I coulda brought out much more color but even so there are purples and reds and 10 different color greens. Headband might have taken the award for density away from the enemy's dream. The headband and critical purp both had some purple. Can't wait to smoke em all. My first grow was a rollercoster ride of emotions. Hope and worry have taken turns throuout the whole grow. Harvest day has finally come. I'm not so happy about the color of the trichomes. There are still too manny clear trichome heads, but the overall apearance of the plants made me think that maybe the plants are not able to ripen completely. The color of trichomes hasn't changes much in the last 2 weeks. I've been flushing for 3 weeks now, so there shouldnt be much nutrients left in the soil. All the leafs are yellow and rotting. Since I had budrot on Plant #2, I am worried to get more budrot through the rotting leafs. So I decided to harvest now, in order to save what I have grown so far. Yield: Plant #1: 532g (wet with stem) Plant #2: 475g (wet with stem, missing main cola due to budrot) I expect a yield of about 100 g of dried buds.

Growing this popsicle cake definitely had its ups and downs. What started out looking like a dud of a seed turned out to be something pretty spectacular. Stacks the buds nicely to fill up the whole colas, super frosty, with an un godly stench of sweaty dirty socks. Still in the curing process but definitely has a heavy indica punch!

Wish I could have vegged the clones another couple of weeks but the Zkitzo was just growing to fast. In hindsight shouldn’t have put a plant from seed in with the clones. Seeds always grow like mad in NFT and clones are more manageable as they don’t have a tap root. Still got some absolutely beautiful looking and smelling bud from the Zkitzo so can’t really regret it. The Gelatos are rock solid right through and look absolutely beautiful. Used rainwater right the way through on this so should smoke nice to. Better pictures as it dries.
