Day 49-56 (Day 50) I hooked up my carbon filter to the humidity controller and it is keeping the room exactly at 65-70% RH night and day. It looks like it turns on about every 45 minutes for about 5 minutes so it allows me to run the co2 bag properly. I don’t even have to use my dehumidifier. The room is 100% dark now too. Even the small red lights on the space heaters. Not going to feed anything other than foliars this week. (Day 51) Blackberry #4 & #8 #9 and white widows #2 & #3 are all confirmed males. Chopped them down and recycled the soil. White widow #1 is the first official female and I’m starting to see pistils on the m39/zkittlez too. Plants seem to be responding to the light fairly well. It’s hung 32 inches above the canopy which is as high as it can go without strapping it to the roof, which may have to happen one day. The plant can get within 6 inches of the light so I’m probably good. The ppfd output is 1800umols which is super high so I want to hang them as high as possible in veg. I wish I could rent a ppfd meter to see if I’m in range at 32”. (Day 52) Blackberry breath #3 is the first official bbb female to show. I decided to scrap BCTG #2. It sounded like a good strain but after looking at pictures of people who have grown it online, it doesn’t look up to my standards. I found a very small patch of powdery mildew on one of the leaves so I’m not even going to start with that shit again. I’m really thinking about scrapping the m39/zkittlez and the white widow too. I’m praying that I get at least 4 females of BBB. I tried super cropping for the first time today. A few of the branches I definitely squished a bit too much as they turned quite brown and looked dead within a day. (Day 53) Despite the m39/zkittlez vigorous growth, I know it will be a shitty strain that will most likely herm as it’s from a bag seed of low grade weed. I’ve decided instead of scrapping it, I will use it for experimenting with a new chemical powdery mildew preventative. If it dies oh well. I doused it and chopped a limb off a few hours ago during lights on and it seems fine. (Day 54) I’m about 90% sure BBB 6&7 are both female. #2 & #5 are looking like males but too early too tell. #1 is really tough to say. Just gotta be patient I guess. #3 has a great spread out structure, I hope it doesn’t stretch too much. The scrogging is a priority. I put up the scrog net just to see how it fits. It’s a little small around the edges but that’s fine. So it’s looking like out the 9, I would be lucky to get 4 fems if #1 & 7 would show forsure already. If #1 is a female I have my 4 and I can throw out the white widow. The white widow is just insurance at this point. Super cropped plants have recovered nicely. Going to continue doing this more. I’ve noticed that the plants that were put into my custom soil mix have very small fan leaves compared to the fabric pots of straight promix and dry amendments. Could also be the fabric pot is helping dry downs too. (Day 56) I’m seeing some yellowing so I’m going to give a foliar spray just too keep some deficiencies at bay. All of the plants are stunted except the m39 and bbb#3. Node spacing has also reduced significantly. I can’t help but feel it’s from the intensity of my lights but maybe they just need a transplant into some new soil something. Luckily the stunt and droop is only really happening to what I suspect are male plants anyway. Leaves are looking twisted and gnarled on #5. Going to move it into the veg tent for a while. I’m going to mix up and amend my Destiny/coco blend today and transplant bbb#3 and 6 & 7 in a few days. I mixed them up in contractor bags making sure to toss and turn vigorously. Here is my blend: 2 bags 40L Destiny soil 2 bags 40L coco 700ml glacial rock dust 700ml oyster shell flour 700ml nature’s pride bloom 300ml basalt rock dust 150ml langbeinite 150ml nature’s pride veg I am also going to try the Destiny top dress as it’s only 13 bucks a bag and full of good shit. I’m trying to not feed heavy in flower other than 2 or 3 top dresses and 2 teas and nothing after week 5. Because it’s taken so long for the plants to show sex, when I transplant into the 10 gallon pots, they should have more than enough nutrients too keep them going strong all the way through flower with just water. I’m a little skeptical about that though. Besides teas and dressings are fun. Everything should be broken down by week 8 or so. Will transplant in a few days.

This week have been amazing. The buds are swelling up and the smell is overwhelming. I broke the stem on one plant and that have damaged it and the result was smaller buds than the rest of the plants. I got 2 orange sherberts that are 1-2 weeks behind in flower and reason unknown. My 2 Haze strains are finishing up rather quickly leaving the Sherberts as the slowest finisher out of the 5 strains from Barney's. Cookies and pink kush are the fastest to finish. All strains are bulking up very nicely. Pink kush: Slow in early veg with beautiful leaves true to the kush strains. I fed them half strenght and they were really loving it early on. Later in veg they went from being the smallest plants to being the biggest plants and for sure a heavy yielder. No issues thru out the grow. Just have no words for the bud structure and colors it is out of this reality to me. More than i could wish for. Just amazing colars thru out the 9 pink kush plants i have. Orange sherbert: This one was for sure the most promising early on with beautiful leaves as well as bouncing back from topping and defoliation. Never really had a problem with the strain other than some cal mag issue. Amazing bud structure taking form in week 6 just mind blowing really. Cookies kush: As vigorous as the Sherbert early on and just finishing out on top. One of the better plants i have is a Cookie but just beautiful flowers forming early on to bulk up and be like knuckles. The other cookie i got formed some abnormal buds almost like its a monstrosity. Just fat colars with Very thick and short pistils. Very sticky and agressive looking and just super pungent. G13 Haze: Did not really pay attention to this strain. I will comment on it after harvest. Utopia Haze: The Utopia Haze early on was very long and had huge leaves. Taller and bigger leaves than the rest but with very long spacing between the nodes. It was forming beautiful flowers that looked ready to harvest before any other strain in the tent. The buds look like the the ice cream on a ice cream cone. Just simply Amazing and beautiful. Cannot wait to keep it to myself and dear ones. It smells so sweet and with a twist of creamy caramel im just blown away.

Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Everything is still alive thankfully and smells fuckin tremendous. The pictures were taken on day 49 or 50. I'll probly start flushing some of them over the next week the citradellic are lookin close. They kinda all look close even tho I expected some 70 dayers with the mostly sativa crosses but I gotta get in there and check the trichs.

Chance of a Lifetime Greenhouse Seeds Wonder Pie Week five 5th June 2020 Welcome back to my Wonder pie Diary for the Greenhouse Seeds Win a trip to amsterdam Contest. It's been a busy week for the three plants. I waited until aprox mid week (Tuesday 2nd June) to begin some LST And each plant proved to be tricky in one way or another. Plant 1 has very flexible branches that I needed to use tent pegs on to hold down each branch I wanted to train. Plant 2 is very bushy and has quite a few side branches happening so I managed to tie down atleast 6 with some soft wire and left the others to grow a bit longer before I try more LST. Plant 3 was the trickiest because the branches are very stiff and not very willing to bend . I found this out by accidently snapping a branch off. I managed to tie a few down but have the two main branches still growing vertically for the time being. (Wed 3rd June ) Not touching them today and will water tomorrow (Thurs 4th June) Watered each plant with 2 Litres of Water (Friday 5th June) Today I am very happy with the way they responded to the LST all three plants have really bounced back well and look super happy. I have been playing around with a homemade CO2 producer which is very easy to make with household items. Basically I re-used a 1.5l empty water bottle as the container. Then I simply punched a small hole in the lid for the CO2 gas to escape. I then added aprox 7-10 teaspoons of Sugar & half filled it with nice warm water (not too hot) and let the sugar dissolve. Then I added 3 teaspoons of Bakers Yeast and gently shook it all up before placing the lid with the hole in it back on the bottle and placing it inside the Grow tent. The principle of this is that the yeast and sugar react with each other to start "Fermenting" which causes the release of gasses which are made up of CO2. Now whether or not this does anything to make the plants grow any faster is conjecture on my part but I have noticed that the plants look very healthy and growth has been more this week than previous weeks so who knows????? It's worth a try if you have the time and inclination to try it. Well that brings me to the end of this weeks Wonder Pie update. Ab jetzt werde ich meine 3 hübsche WW spülen, ich hoffe das die letzten 2 Wochen Blüte noch ausreichen das die Buds noch an Größe gewinnen, die Trichom Bildung ist reichlich vorhanden, und der Duft lässt ein schon ungeduldig werden. Das ist mein erster grow mit White Widow automatic, und mein erster grow überhaupt mit automatics. Ich konnte einiges an Erfahrung bei diesem grow sammeln. Ich habe Fehler gemacht die ich beim nächsten mal zu verhindern weiß. Ich werde euch auf dem laufenden halten bis dann wünsche euch dicke Knospen.👍🏻

Solid week!! Fed her bloom nutrients on day 50. Responding nicely. I pulled down the main 8 to allow for better light and airflow throughout. Once I did that she really started to fill in again. This also seems to help stop the stretch, or maybe it was just timing and stretch was coming to an end anyways. Either way, glad it did as I am am running out of room to raise the lights and have no more options for setup. Bud sites are all starting to fill in good and fatten up a tiny bit. Looking forward to seeing how these shape up!!!

The buds on this plant seem very nice and tight, a nice purplish bud colour started to develop during the 48 hours producing some very pleasant looking buds.
