Day 85 - first day of Week 13 and she is going into darkness for 48 hours. Hasn't been watered since 2 days. Even though she looks the least done of all three, her trichomes are now a good 20-30% amber with the rest milky and some tiny bits of clear. I checked her buds on the calyx all around, from top buds to middle to bottom. She really shows a lot of heavily swolen calyxes, which I have never seen like that. I can now add that to the things I learned/experienced: calyxes swell a lot before the plant is finished. Let's see. My Girl Scout Cookies does not look like she even has calyxes. Funny individuals. Happy wedding cake day, almost 😍 Day 88 - out of darkness. She was in there for 2,5 days. Opening the drying tent she gave off a really strong smell of hash 😍wow. She has some nice looking buds and looks def. more done, but below her dress, she has some light fluffy buds. I have hung all of them now in the dry tent, after I removed some of the bigger fan leaves. One part of it, I think I want to low and slow dry in the fridge. I am interested in finding out about the difference in taste, when a more wholesome profile is retained. I bought a small tent (40x40cm), a small oszillating fan hung over the buds/on top of the tent. Due to size limitations, I have the filter on the bottom with the duct leaving the tent at the bottom connecting to an exhaust fan. Inside the tent I have a humidity sensor from an Inkbird Humidity regulator. Connected to that is a mini-dehumidifer and a humidifier. I have set it to 20°C (68F) and 50-55% humidity. I'm excited to see how long my dry will last this time. My first grow was drying way too fast in the middle of the heat wave last year with 30% humidity. The overview added to the pictures, I started making over Christmas. It was when I noticed, that I'm a so impatient, and that something must be wrong, especially in the first weeks. I get so obsessive, that I tend to overcare. Which she showcases beautifully in this overview. I hope this will calm me down the next time. Oh my haha Let's see what the final dry weight is. Final product is been absolutely amazing on these clones - the jungle came out about average but the clones definitely exceeded expectations there absolute fire in comparison but still just as good hopefully I can just improve a few issues we had on this run and dial right in 100% will be so much better, next few run is going to be special I’ve got a few things lined up. From tester packs to breeders packs I can hunt from. So lots to choose from but what to keep to run will be interesting

Hello everyone! How are you? Here's an update on my Papaya Zoap. This week I'll only be able to share some photos, as I'm having technical issues, but I promise that next week I'll bring you the best photos I can. As I mentioned in the Black Muffin and Strawberry Cola diary, I started noticing that my plants had slowed down their development a bit and were showing signs of deficiencies. I discovered that my pH regulator wasn't working properly, but I've already fixed that problem. Most likely there was a root blockage. I've already flushed the plant once with distilled water, and I'll probably do the same on the next watering. I'll fertilize again next week. You'll have news soon, haha! Hugs machines.💀😍

Week 2 went smooth... Started to see 5-finger leaves showing so I lowered the lights and turned them almost all the way up. Installed a Co2 Dispersal Canister that should finish out veg. Wish I knew the ppm for the Co2 but I don't. Finna start LST this upcoming week

Week was good still no signs of pistils though but I’m all for getting them bigger and maximizing yield I have a few other plants in this tent atm pay them no mind I been really pushing the ppms I want to say it’s at 1950 rn using an ph perfect no worries about nothing sometimes they get a little nute burn but the plants quickly adapt and thrive fastbuds genetics are definitely on top of my recommended seed banks every seed sprouted and they can take alot of stress even bein autos where ppl say don’t do this or that I always test the genetics to see what they can and can’t take @ Molly from fastbuds sorry for the wait but I have nothing but praises for your team and your genetics happy growing all!!!

2019-12-08 (day 9) -not much too add, seedling is growing. Atmosphere in tent is stable, slightly colder than I'd like but nothing I'm worried about. My second Meizhi 600 showed up and I will add it most likely in week 3 or 4. I may pop 2 more seeds to grow simultaneously with these two girls, just a bit worried about the coverage of these lights, we'll see I haven't made up my mind yet. I'll likely implement nutes by the end of next week.

I ran into a few problems with this grow as it was my first indoor organics grow but I know where I messed up so I shouldn’t repeat those mistakes. With that being said the quality of the cannabis is still there and I am excited about starting again using DWC next time. I love Humboldt genetics and I will be growing more of their lineup in the future for sure.

Flush week is here! Or was here lol. I was behind on my journal's and I've actually already chopped the girls (pics included) and will update soon with a harvest week as soon as they are finished hang drying. The trichomes were cloudy white with roughly 20-30% amber trichomes and some wonderful terp aromas from each. 100K has a smell and taste (we sampled a bud dried in a paper bag, was fantastic) has a similarity to Slapz from the same release and it is honestly a great flavor and aroma to have. She also has hints of nutty earthiness underneath from her White Truffles and they blend well together. Grandaddy's terps vary going down her branches so far. At the top her grapey berry aroma is dominant where as the lower buds are more heavily of flowers (violets, i agree with leafly on that aroma description for GDP) with hints of the berries. A sample from a paper bag was mostly of violet flowers and smoke smooth with a deep relaxing high. Better info to come with the harvest week update! Plants were left in 48 hours of darkness with attention to airflower kept to prevent mold Our drying set up: The tent light is off, with oscillating fan removed. Only an intake was left on the bottom (removed oscillating fan after 1st day was too much) with a small monkey fan pointed across to keep it moving along the floor, with the exhaust running up top to keep even airflow around the buds. I'm trying to avoid any direct airflow on the buds. The trellis net is lifted to the top of the tent, to hang the branches from easily with plant wire. Our drying conditions: The branches are hung individually after snipping off larger fan / water leaves, we try to leave some of the smaller leaves to help protect the buds and their terpenes. Our environment we try to keep in the mid to low 60s, but never higher than 68 (I prefer 66 degrees farenheit) and the humidity we keep around 60 to 60% but no higher, and preferably never lower. This is to protect the terpenes and cannabinoids from evaporating due to heat or dry conditions. I changed to this method after some research and owe the idea on temps and humidity to Matt from Mr Canucks Grow on Youtube, it's a more recent video of his from within the past year and was very informative.
