The seeds were planted three days after the paper towel and the first one grew out of soil the same day.That seed was planted with its first leaves(cotyledons).
In the beginning I used a cfl lamp in a lot distance so the plants had to stretch. The grow room is a bit low ceiling (0, 8m) so the stretch was a problem.
This week i made a plan for the plants feeding. For start gave a small portion of nutrients like 1/4 from the suggested to see the reaction of the plants.
Day 21: fim one plant (the plant referred as cotyledons now is going to be mentioned as fim).In a few days will top the other one.
Fattys are growing and seem to be thirstier.Used foliar spray to help the leaves and also started tucking. When the plant was topped pistils were seen for first time.
Unfortunately one Cfl lamp burned a part of a leaf on the FIM.Pistils are visible in all plants🌱. A part of them turned a bit darker. Girls are now growing a bit faster.Lst seems to work fine.
Anyone can help with time of harvest? I have 3 more weeks max (theoretically) but it's my first grow and in can't really tell how much more time I have. Should I go with my feeding schedule and use over drive for 2 weeks and then flush? Here's a photo from yesterday
Hi there,here’s my rule of thumb for harvesting period.During that time,the leaves will show deficiencies, yellowing and most of the white pistils become orange.The best method is using 60x microscope and check trichomes colour.If trichomes are mostly milky/cloudy about 80/90 % and fill with some amber colour, it’s the time to harvest.Flushing or not flushing is your choice.So I would start using Overdrive for 2weeks when I firstly sighted amber trichomes on buds and then flush for about one or two weeks until I get my desired trichomes colour.Happy growing... ✌️
Same this week. Some stretching and lst as it follows.In the second watering with 1L saw run off for first time. I think that I will lst again in (if necessary) the first days of next week and then stop.
Fattys gettin bigger & bigger,all seems to run smoothly, that was the last lst (I hope), thinking about defoliation next week, its a little jungle in there.
Defoliate this week some yellow leaves and also some good ones that blocked the light! Buds are getting fatter as expected. I've increased the bloom nutrients dose and fatties seem to like it.
I did some more defoliation. Colas gettin' bigger every day.Fattys have three more weeks max (Theoretically).Things seems going very good for first grow and I'm really glad about this,let's see the outcome.
this is simply a normal shoot, in soil it's always a good sign. Some plants actually help the cannabis by creating N or P or whatever. So actually if you like RQS, you should check them because they supply "companion plants" . It can be a whole technique for nutrients if you're careful ! Anyway nothing to worry about, it wont harm the plant, just rip it out . Hope this helps ! 🚀
During that grow I realized the importance of lights. Started with cfl lamps,then a decent marshydro ts600 and now my baby ts1000 just arrived! I hope my girls will appreciate it .
Week eleven now. Found out it's getting longer than the breeder mentioned, that's good, girls have more time. Most of the pistils are still white. After defoliation new buds appeared in the surface.Most of the buds have formed, they are big enough but they seem to have more to offer. Also they are dense like the video shows.
I couldn't resist getting a pocket microscope because I was so anxious about the right time to harvest[still I am🤯].I decided though to start flushing from next watering.Trichomes seem to me that are getting cloudy and I can see amber spots too.Fatty (the top) has more progress than the Fim. The buds at this stage are pretty heavy. I can't understand why there is no really smell but I'll wait to see after the curing!
I wasn't sure how to properly flush with flawless finish my girls so I followed different ways. For the TOP I just watered with flawless finish until I had 20% run off. For the FIM I watered with flawless finish double amount than usual and after 12 hours ph'd water until having clear running offs.I think I'm going to cut them off in the middle of next week.Can't wait!
As I see the girls I wonder what is right to do! I can see some white pistils but from the microscope trichomes seem to be ready. Maybe the FIM has progressed a bit more and I hope for different effects.Also I forgot to mention that the FIM seem really sad. It's leaves has turned yellow which is good I suppose but I think I should watered a bit more. The two girls are both really beautiful and seem to have weight . The TOP has some purple buds and a really big one to admire and the FIM is like green and white with red pistils!

Tomorrow is the harvest day, now it's in 24h dark from this morning, I was thinking to go for 48h dark but I messed it up a little bit with the watering and I think FIM can't survive 2 more days I should water it a few days ago.
Ok then.I have to tell you about my first girls! At this point I have to mention that in my grow room were four plants.
(Two fat bananas auto & two bubble kush auto).
I decided to do another diary for them too. 😎
The overall outcome was 340g (and another 97g was the popcorn buds & sugar leaves)So it's 0,85g/watt and 420g/m².
Also i messed up with the watering and the FIM wasn't watered for 10 days.So FIM was dry-ish.
