I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Growth 14 to 21 The nutritive solution has evolved during the week. I started with a PH of 5.6 and an EC of 2 to have this evolution : 12/10 PH 5.6 EC 2 13/10 PH 5.9 EC 2.1 14/10 PH 6.2 EC 2.1 15/10 PH 6.3 EC 2.2 16/10 PH 6.5 EC 2.3 17/10 PH 6.5 EC 2.4 during this 3rd week of flowering, fim and topping have recovered well and we can see that the hydro system is well launched since the plants are growing well. On the leaves with 1 and 3 leaflets you can see the deficiency or blockage that I had in week two of growth. Everything is going well now. I can clearly see that the BBM 2 and 4 are the most in shape for the moment, both visually and in terms of roots. I replace the nutrient solution. So I make 60L at a rate of : 4ML/L Sensi grow A&B 2Ml/L Bud Ignitor 2ML/L B-52 This gives EC 2.2 PH 5.6, still without using ph down. I start the Bud Ignitor a week early to get flowers faster. Some growers using AN have seen a difference rather than waiting until the beginning of bloom. I am lowering the leds to a ppfd of 600 for this last week of growth. From now on I will spray my "Pshit" of THESEEDSMAKER, twice a day to create my seeds. ++

We have reached the second week of flowering for our beautiful photoperiod ladies of Zamnesia. Born 1 September now at day 45 amazing. ---- The general environmental conditions are good, there is always a little too much heat from next week we should have just enough for the resin a sharp drop in temperatures that could also give us beautiful foliage for this period. --- Our Cosmic Noodles are plants, beautiful, elegant in growth, with low internodes and fast flowering. Another great growth this week! The flowering is progressing well, it also continues to gain size. It only stays exposed to sunlight and sometimes it gets a dose of water.

Added a 65w Horticulture Lighting Group Quantum Board, turned my Viparspectra blurple LEDs 90 degrees and raised lights to, currently 18” above canopy. Still looking very green so no nutrients. I have them in the diary at low values so that I don’t need to reenter them every week for each diary when I use them. Added nutrients 400 ppm and nematodes 4/25. Some light defoliation.

She will be short but fully covered in buds.

Going really well, getting big colas! Had to do a lot of defoliation as they were really bushy, blocking air & light & also starting to rub up against each other & also sweating leaves. Removed a lot of popcorn growth & lower growth that wasn't getting enough light, this created more space for air& light around the colas. Super sticky & very smelly. Harvested Banana #1 she had stopped growing and her trichomes were ready her wet weight was 184 grams and dry weight 53 grams. Banana #2 and Skywalker are still going they are on water only from here on. They both got 5 liters of ph water on day 80.

For the Mimosa evo its the 5th week of veg overall they are doing great. Had some issues with some of them, with deficiencies gave them what they need. For the ones that are fully healthy I gave them the second topping and a little of defoliation. Today I gave a round of nutrients to the Mimosa Evo. Yesterday I gave a round of nutrients to the Auto's and some defoliation.

She is very healthy and has done well in a week. I expect to see rapid growth coming this week and plan to transplant into the 3gal pots in 6-8 days roughly. I will be giving the ladies roughly half strength nutes of the schedule for their life as I've read auto respond well to this.

18/10 - Cumple 6 semanas en etapa de floracion. Su evolución fue muy rapida y los cocos se encuentran muy bien desarrollados. El banco recomienda dejarla en floracion de 8 a 9 semanas. Se encuentra muy resinosa con mucho olor. La parte principal parece un arbol. No tuve ningun problema en toda su etapa. Los nutrientes los tomo de forma perfecta, las chalas se encuentran verdes y perfectas. Solo en la parte baja estan un poco amarillas pero es normal por que la luz no llega. Hey Farmers , it’s your friendly barn rat BONEY ! Just hanging fire this week . Having a bit of a time with my one purple kush plant that’s located directly in the middle of my tent . That one has been a struggle , keeps looking like a nitrogen deficiency to me . All I’ve been doing is hitting it with a foliage spray of one tbsp of Epsom salts to a gallon of rain water . At the start of the week I watered with rain water with a mixture of cantaloupe and brown sugar that had been previously fermented to a 1:1 ratio .

This week they climbed about 7 inches. I’m in love with these girls. They’re a lot of fun to watch. They’re so uniform and wholesome I can’t stop staring at them. I just watered yesterday with just 6.3 ph water. I realized I was using too much veg fert. so I kept that out of my feeding for this week. I thought it said tbs instead of tsp so I was using way too much. They seem happy though so I think I’m ok. Other than that, I’m excited to see how much they grow this week.

Day 36. Morning. Girls are stretching, some are above 50 cm, others still can't beat even 20. Will regroup pots a bit to expose smallest girls. Pure phed water. No hermie signs and thats good ;)) All girls very healthy, thinking to give silica next watering. Day 40. What an Idiot I am ;)))))) Girls just blasted away. All my hopes for one huge cola - gone. Girls just grow, they are bushy, but leaves cover each other and sweat. I decided to do defoliation on day 15-18 of flower, but ... All girls are different !!! Some just building preflowers, some are on day 10 of flower, some still in veg !!! If you check any my diary, 2-3 days is max and all leaves are regrowing, so i can't defoliate in rounds by maturity, neighbours will cover defoliated one. And i can't do all in one go, some will be totally in wrong day for such stress. Time for new strategy ... Just i don't know which, what and when ;)))) Day 41. Job done. Slaughtered them last night. Looks ok at the end of day, let's see how many hermie i woke up ;))))
