Week 6! This is a seed from this mix (https://www.dutch-headshop.eu/auto-rainbow-mix-private-label-5-cannabis-seeds), and I started the others about two and a half weeks before this one. I can see the others started flowering this week, but this one seems content to keep vegging out. The others had smaller pots and shared resources, so this makes sense. It's going to be very hot and bright here this week, which is terrible for me, but lovely for the weedlings. The shape is like a lovely squatty Christmas tree. I'd grow it again so it'd be at this stage for the holidays, but we'll be back to sunup at 10AM and sundown at 4PM by then :/

The High intensity was to strong (clearly my fault) in the beginning which stunted her overall stretch, she however still delivered super dense, terpene and trichome loaded buds.

So the budgrowth over the week has been insane! All the girls are stacking like crazy! Wedding Glue Now in flush and will.be the first to come down around day 72. Gorilla Cookies Smelling and looking amazing. However since shes hidden in the back it took me a while to discover a calcium deficiency on her. I have flushed her with a light calmag feed and gave her a light feeding the next day. Seems like it has stopped spreading. This is usually what i do to see what is wrong as its usually a salt build up. If theres no progress a simple measurement and adjustment usually does the trick. Mimosa Cake Stacking beautifully and i can already see shes gonna be a frosty one! And a top yielder! Forgotten Cookies pheno1. Ive had this one twice before. She has a really sweet terpene profile and she can turn into a beast given the right circumstances. Forgotten Cookies pheno2. Ive had this pheno before in the organic run. Extremely frosty like her sibling smelling really pungent and sweet. Smell is easily recognizable Solero Turning out to be a monster with all her budsites covered in bud. I can see her buds have swollen up everyday i open the tent. She smells really fruity with a hint of mojitos Strawberry Gelato Straight gelato terps coming of this one! As you can see shes really focussing on swelling up!

Week3! moving out of early veg and into big boi weeks. Probably within the next week or so we will be doing our first topping. 6+ growth terminals will be my metric and I will be taking the best 4 and running 4 mains per plant. I also decided to edge up the nutrients, they look like they responded to the boost last week so Ill see if I can run them off of the Vanilla chart from TPS 10+ week extended chart. I usually run the nutrients at 70% strength A/B so we will see if we can push more in the late veg area. Also To deal with the possibility of future Root Gnat issues before I Transplanted the seedlings into 7 gal containers, I made sure i ran boiling water through my premade soil mix before hand. that way if there was any larvae in the soil it killed them off beforehand. I did replace soil microbes that I ended up killing off as well by adding in recharge after the fact when the soil cooled down a bit, even if the micro-bio stuff in the soil was not compromised I made sure to have a backup plan. I will also be spraying the ladies with Crop Defender 3 soon for mildew and spider mite prevention. CD3 is compleately organic pesticide/fungicide which is OMRI listed.

Mystery Made 2 got harvested 16/11 and I'm planning to let her dry for 14-21 days before trimming and put them in glass+boveda (58%) and grove bags for final cure. Drying conditions are as follows: 16-18°C 55-60% RH

Second week of flush strong aromas nice tricombs.

Hola cultivadores. Se acerca la víspera de año nuevo, y con ello, la llegada de la floración. El día 12/27 observé las plantas y se aprecian diminutos pelos blancos, no están presentes en todas las ramas. Pero es suficiente para comenzar la fertilización con productos de floración. Escogí Bio-Bloom de BioBizz en su dosis media para que se adapte poco a poco al cambio de alimento, reduciendo igualmente el Fish-Mix a la mitad. Se mantuvo el Acti-Vera y el Alg-A-Mic en su misma dosis. Ya la planta alcanzó los 67 cm, esperemos crezca y engruese sus ramas porque igualmente están delgadas para soportar el peso de los cogollos.

Week 22 of our painful result on the mothers. Reveg. Is full on and the plants are all trying desperately to figure out how to flower again. A couple days ago I was resolved to the fact that this cycle of mothers was not going to be anywhere near our acceptable standards for a high quality bud harvest. We lamented and cried a little…. Then we got ridiculously high to numb the pain…. And then I had a brilliant thought! The whole purpose has been to pollinate clones this whole time. Now that our stable of clones are well into rooting and reveg. We can simply use the mothers for breeding instead and salvage a harvest of high quality buds with the clones! It’s not an ideal situation and will result in less smokable buds but that said (and as per the outdoor photos), quantity won’t be a problem this year as usual😉. I figure a week or two to see what happens with em and we’ll commence the sperm spray😎. We’ve also taken some additional steps and commenced with impregnating the Spliff strawberry on a couple of select branches. This plant is proving a beauty as expected - even despite a little fasciation she’s a monster🤩🤩. Method - we placed some pollen into a brown paper bag (both some SOG in one and some 707 in another. - we marked 2 branches with zip ties to keep track of which pollen is where. - we wrapped the branches in each bag and twisty tied it closed to the stem base for about 12 hours. - after remove the bags and to prevent further pollination on the rest of the plant we sprayed down the pollinated branches and then the entire plant with a light mist of water. When ur outdoors this isn’t perfect science and there will be some additional seed that pops out elsewhere. Regardless, it’s a guarantee the 707 is viable but I’m none too sure about the Skywalker stuff. It may have been subjected to moisture while in storage and could be inert at this point. No telln for a few weeks🤞. The dutchy system, despite significant time to set up has been better than expected - all the plants are happy, added a Skywalker clone to the mix for flowering as well. They seem to be taking to the Druid nutes just fine. Great system and she’s pretty much on cruise control right now👌. All told - the pollen chuck is not yet a complete failure. We’re definitely gonna have some cross beans - they only question that remains is how many different strains. Thanks again for hanging with the longest grow ever👍👊. Background/Repetitive Nonsense These plants will be the two mothers this growing season that will be utilized for stage 2 of the pollen chucking project. We’ll be taking clones and stressing the genetics for some fem. pollen using colloidal silver. Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel with landrace genetics, we’re effectively skipping initial hybrid crossing and stabilization, going straight to the polyhybrid mix. I call it the shotgun approach to selective, unvetted and amateur breeding on a micro scale😉. These 2 parent strains will form the basis for 8-10 different F1 polyhybrid combinations and a further S1 back cross of each of the mothers. Not only should we be able to preserve the genetics for both mothers in feminized form but we’ll also be running an entire family of new hybrids after seeding out clones from each on the initial lineup of this summers photoperiods. Method is pretty simple here; once we’ve got our pollen off the two mothers we’ll be clipp’n clones on 4 select strains that have proven results from various respected breeders. We’ll be using those for pollination purposes in what is expected to be a 10 plant recirculating Dutch bucket hydro system. ***Update*** The feminization process didn’t take at all with the strawberry or the Skywalker so it’ll be reg. Seed crosses with only Skywalker and some other 707 Headband that we have in the vault. ********* Strain details: Parent strains for self pollination - Skywalker Kush by Reserva Privada Classic kush effects and earthy aroma. The strong kush element of this cultivar will compliment any cross. - Spliffs Strawberry by Spliff Seeds Incredible mix of flavourful terpenes and hard hitting high THC. She’s got some Herer as well as some Diesel in ‘er so an obvious choice for any cross as well. ***UPDATE*** The strawberry had to come out of this breeding run to wait for a better mother that hasn’t been attacked by aphids. It’s been a tough battle this season and we’ve had to make a couple of heartbreaking sacrifices already. Parent Strains for cross pollination ***UPDATE*** We added another 2 strains to the mix just in case we need to spot swap for some more variety. - Ghost Train by AMS Seeds A cross of Alien OG x Ghost Train Haze. Never tried the strain but I’ve heard only good things. This one might be worth mixing with the Strawberry so we’ll see how it goes. ***UPDATE*** Sadly - the ghost train turned out to be an auto so cloning her out as part of the breeding project is a no-go. Really disappointed about this but at least we still have a ready backup strain on the lost coast og to take her place. - Boogie Nights by AMS Seeds A cross of Kalijah, aka afghani/skunk/diesel/blue heaven X Juanita, aka NYC Diesel/Reina Madre). No idea here so naturally I’m interested😉. ************** - Lost Coast OG by Emerald Triangle Pakistani Kush x Lemon Thai x Chemdawg #4. Essentially a classic, west coast combo of landrace kush genetics that Cali is famous for, mixed with hard hitting Chemdawg #4. ***UPDATE*** The Lost Coast is a winner of a plant. Still outdoors and in veg. Looks like it’s recovered from the aphid attack. Might consider trying to take another cut of this and just rooting it in a pot for pollination. At this point, what the hell and if we could salvage anything it would be a positive. ***** - Spliffs Blueberry by Spliff Seeds (Chocolate Thai x Afghani #1 x Highland Oaxaca) x Northern Lighhts Special. Only 1 bean of this left and the whole purpose is to blend the best of Spliffs Berry strains as a tribute. Awesome breeder and they’ve been very kind to us over the years. - Northern Light by Royal Queen Seeds NL means nuff said. A combo of 11 unknown strains believed to originate from the west coast of North America. This cultivar is a great take on these classic genetics and a perfect compliment to just about any cross. A biased fave of ours.👍 - White Widow by Seedsman Brazilian Sativa x South Indian Indica. This classic strain has been unluckily elusive for us the last couple years. We know the quality of seedsmans version of this cultivar having grown it in the past. Sadly, a very strong performer that never made it to harvest due to an uncontrollable aphid infestation. And we’re only at step 1.... still gonna need an assist with pheno hunting all of the crosses so if anyone’s interested in running the testers (when we finally get to that point) just let me know👍😎. The plants have been flushing for almost a week now. Really starting to change colors. I can't wait to see how much I get from them.

Week 3 of flower and decided to start using PLAGRON: Green Sensation a week earlier. Pistils are appearing and maybe need some phosphorous and potassium. Quite a bit of stretching going on. Had to bend back a few stems to try even out canopy. Some burnt tips? From what? No idea. One of the strawberry cough seems to be taking longer to transition, still stretching and no pistils. Apart from the tip burns, which I’m hoping is because of my light being too close. (Adjusted higher now) It seems to be going OK, nothing great….

she is doing well for the outdoor conditions in germany. she had her first week of sunshine. but we can't talk about fast here yet ;) the next few days will unfortunately be very rainy again. i switched from biobizz-grow to biobizz-fish for the fertiliser. she will continue to get root fertiliser from canna.

😎 Weekly Update: The plant has growth to 70cm height at day 36 :) 🔪 Most of defoliation and lollipoping has been done - trying not to stress the auto too much. 🌹 LST Update: I do branch a day - so I began 5 branches training by now. Weekly thought 💭 : I think I do not know much about auto's - considering to do some HST, the upper leaves are really big, watery and makes a lot of shade. I took very little off. Do you think its ok to remove them all? 😮 Day 38 Update: She has grown 10cm / 4" in 48 hours. I hope she’s done stretching because I have no power left to lift my lights every other day 😷 Day 36: 69Cm/27.1" ---> Day 38: 79.5 Cm/31.3" 💥 🥊 First cloning attempt ever seem to be a success :) P.s She drinks almost a gallon per day - never seen anything like that before. Again the super soil seems to save them and provide for exponential growth. I could try to up my humidity, which is somewhat low. But the phenotypes are looking awesomely similar for a no-name brand. This could be a hidden little gem and can't wait to see how they mature. Meanwhile been fighting gnats, tried to get rid of them with a solution of citric acid and water. It seems to help as a contact poison on the soil, while only being a tiny film, so I just don't have to add any citric coming waterings. We like them organic solutions with stuff already lying around the house. Next week I'm going to FIM them and hope this works out better than with my Orange Hill Special grow. Week 2 full strength feed schedule. I change water weekly, week 3 will begin 1/20/24. Hooked water chiller up to system, works great holding water temps at 66-68 deg F. Ph bounced around but has held steady at 5.9 for 4 days now. EC is 1.2. Lights are at 50% intensity. Roots really starting to show. Sorry pics and diary are a little disorganized, didn’t get diary going right away, I’ll keep up to date as week 3 begins. Humidity fluctuates and drops rapidly when the tent is opened. Put a pitcher of room temp water in with the girls to try to keep humidity up, just had a cold snap here with extreme lows! Girls are powering through no prob though 💪 As of 1/18/24 I’ll add update pics daily, also going to phase out hydroguard in favor or SoAg when it arrives in the mail. 1 8ox bottle of SoAg will make almost 50 gallons of “Hydroguard” and it’s much more effective from what I’ve been hearing from others.
