Broke down and did some defoliation.

Melon Gum has been loosingva lot of leaves. I think something is effecting the roots. I did a solution change and rinsed the roots in a H2O and water mix. 🤞🏻it helps resolve the issue enough to get to the finish. Upgrade: the main cola is getting pretty dense, so I got a clip-on fan to control humidity! Another upgrade: grow tent!

Week Six (more like Week 4 or 5) alright, a lot happened. first in rearranged the plants to get a nice even canopy to flip to flower. as planed, I changed the lights to 16/8 and upped the power to around 75% at 50cm to the canopy. every plant got a topdressing with Terra Preta, rockdust, biovin and seeweed (rooting powder) and fed the plants with colonize and organic feed 5-2-5 (see pics). I got worried about the bagseed. on RNG 2# I see what's looks like male and female sex. on RNG 1# I think there a female sex signs, but I am not sure. only on RNG 3# I see more than one female sign on the nodes. I read you can have a high chance of hermies with bagseeds. on the other side, some strains came from bagseed. but I don't search for strains, so two new plants appeared suddenly. one gelato from zamnesia and one San Fernando Valley X The Purps from growers choice, both feminized and photoperiod. I decided to keep the RNG 3# as she is the safest to grow out. she shows female sex clearly and is the smallest of the bagseeds. so the fits nice with the fastbuds and the two new plants. I can happy give the bagseeds to a new home, so maybe I still see some result from the RNG 1# and 2#. I mixed some new soil with amendments and transplanted to 11l pot. they also got a good chunk of colonize and the normal dosage of feeding. I watered them in and the gelato popped back up, the SFV was a bit sad, some lower leafs hung down, but she like the transplant. both are in very good shape. one day after the transplant I will do some deleafing and training. also I get the mars hydro clip fan to get some needed air-circulation in the tent. so in a week or so, I will flip to flower, this will be the last update in veg. thanks for reading or checking out my grow. The buds are now increasing significantly in mass. Hesi Phosphorus Plus is now at 0.5 ml/L, Hesi Bloom Complex is currently at 3.5 ml/L. It exudes a very sweet scent and the trichome coverage is increasing rapidly, which combines beautifully with the lush green color. Starting next week, the pH value will drop from 6.5 to 6.3, which will allow the lady to better absorb all the nutrients she needs right now. I look forward to next week and will keep you posted with new updates. I fucked up , the timer had gone back to 18-6 from the 12-12 I had it on 3 weeks ago and I just caught on .. fuck !! Not sure what will happen now if they will stretch again or potentially hermie … man I’m fkn stressed out Critical XL is just on auto pilot flying along , feed her up and watch her go . Keeping up the defol and spreading her out , same same next week .

I mean, overall this was an extremely painless grow. The test of whether we should or shouldn't top autos is still TBD imo. Our topped candidate produced denser, frostier buds, but weighed slightly less, at 14 grams of bud total. And our lst plant produced 18 grams of bud, not as frosty, and almost as dense as our topped girl. I'll be topping autoflowers from here on out only under the circumstance I have 4+ to grow at the same time. Seems like it could be used to speed up the autoflower grow cycle if done properly, like with right. Since I'm doing a perpetual cycle, it's still a viable option for me in the long run. A few tips I have for anyone growing this strain in organics: Start feeding bloom nutes a little bit prior to flower transition - this makes the transition more seemless. From weeks 1-3 flower, I slowly dropped the grow dosage until I cut off grow nutes week 3 flower. Starting the flush around week 6 flower seemed to really bring out this plant's potential. But I think you could get away with starting the flush around week 5. I hope this helps anyone trying this strain out. It's a good one, I hope to see more journals of it, eventually. Cheers everyone! Week 7 of flower in the books and the Kush is in the home stretch. Pistils are all turning orange and buds are getting thick and resinous. She's got a nice citrusy smell and the colas are all swaying in the breeze. Shout out to Seedsman for these stable genetics. No deficiencies or issues that I had to fix along the way. Really happy I still have a couple more seeds left over.

Switched her to 12/12. I trimmed away some of the growth I deemed not worthy. She's got amazing roots and is already starting to grow a lot every day.

She seems to be a little finicky to low humidity and seems to be a nute whore. Her clone I took 3 or so weeks ago was exibiting same characteristics as this one with low humidity. In living soil but also use Fish Shit and HPK. She'll take as much as I want to give here while the others in the tent want me to back off a bit except Pink Kush she's a nute whore too. Overall happy with her, understandable for a "boutique" strain. Also decided to double down on lighting, running 2 250 true watt quantum boards in my 2x4. Currently turned up on both to 75%. Plan on cranking to full 500w last few weeks.

Week 5 : What an exiting moment, the buds started to appear. Apparently the the topped master KUSH is doing well, was shocked for a day but has a nice canopy promising a sufficient yield I assume? LST still going on. Will end this week, propably Wednesday 🤔 Please let me know what you think! 28/10 update : identified CALMAG deficiency will ad curating dose. + bought new pH meter for more accurate testing...

Still looking a little green, I would prefer the leaves to be more faded. I'm gonna give it another week and see how she looks then.

Day 43. All is good, heavy training session, trimmed sometimes almost half of the plant. It will be 16 girls with different needs and heights, watering, cycle time ... Huge pain, but as it is my LAST of ALL LAST grow, so I just want to get few ounces max from each and do it fast ! Girls last week spent on BioHeaven, Silica and CalMag spray, so leaf colour went a lot better, maybe at the end of week I will feed them heavily. Today and next watering - just 6.3 water. I took last NL away and now humidity and lightning are a lot better. Will drop lights down in few days, but not a lot ... 16 girls again in one room ;)))) I changed names of diaries, because I will try to finish them indoors ... @MarsHydro @Susie420 @eleen , the first light that you gave me is moving to other city and I won't document results under her from now on. She served well for my friend, did magic at mines and I honestly would recommend her to any single plant grower ! Great stuff, it was privilege to test her for almost two years.
