This week went well for the Durban Nights. Not much to report, she hit day 14 today and is working on her 3rd node, I will transplant her in 48 hours, then hopefully top her in about a week or less. I will wait for her to grow at least 7 nodes so I am sure her roots are solid before the topping, but she will absolutely explode after transplanted into coco coir so that shouldnt be a problem. I will also complete the first two sets of toppings at the 3rd node, so that should shave a little time off as well as I previously completed the 2nd and 3rd toppings at the 5th and 3rd node to further spread out the plant. Super excited for this strain as it is a cross of Durban Thai and Jack Herer which are two of my favorite Sative Strains. I hope everyone has a safe weekend. Week 15 - unstoppable growth! My measuring stick is at its end. It only reaches 180cm and we are above that. It's getting hard to reach and prune the top but I'm not giving up. Temp is stable, humidity at a nice level, lots of sunshine. This summer is really something. But we had a huge storm. Nothing a little tape cant fix. One of the early branches broke off, but my net caught it and with a little tape it's as good as new

---GENERAL COMMENT--- Girls are at day 4 technically, but i like to update Sunday always, so keep that in mind, is 1/2 a week now. From germination to soil emerging took 3-4 days, no issues at all. 100% germination rate from multiple breeders till now. I will try my best to do a stress free grow again, so will grow mainly naturally. ---RQS EASY BUD--- Ironically the Easy bud is developing better and growing faster than her sister. ---DAY 10 UPDATE--- Over some days she got volume, just started to use RECHARGE, and wow, that thing works, 48H you could tell something is different, since watering with it the stem is thicker and is growing more vigorous, lets see how it will impact overall! ---DAY 14 UPDATE. WEEK 2 FINAL--- This is the last day of this week and this girl is absolutely amazing, she grew a lot, showing already the intension of shooting up more stems, i'm very happy with her, it has been a delight to grow, response in very good. Voodoo juice is of by now, will keep the recharge maintenance every other watering as i'm loving it. Feeding program will start soon!

* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 She has certainly been going through the beautiful stage of senescence and her fade is gorgeous. The purples and yellows coming out are great......covers up the brown spots😂😂 Her buds are densing this week as we work on bring down the humidity. Running in the mid 60’s for humidity late in flower is a different experience and one that takes some getting used to. Bring down further to low 50’s has really helped to bring out her frost as well. Kept the humidity high to form big buds......now lowering to make them more sticky👍👍 I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see how it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0ph - 8L given to get a good flush - Runoff in pots already were 7.8pH and 485ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.0pH and 370ppm. - she is 29” tall and 30” wide. - tricombs still mainly cloudy.....review again in couple of days. June 21/20 - Day 72 - Dry out day - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 - temps are nice outside so tent able to hold 75 degrees and 51% humidity. June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - She will be ready soon. Thinking darkness on Wednesday and harvest on Saturday?? June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting really pointy now and her leaves are very yellow. - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. This was the squatest clone and grows thick heavy glowing marshmallow colas. Smells so sweet too soon to tell final taste.

Daily watering is done either 4 hours after the plant wakes up or 4 hours before it goes to sleep. My photoperiod is from 6 a.m. until midnight, which means I water either at 10 a.m. or 8 p.m. When it gets bigger, I plan to water at both times to ensure good root oxygenation. Even when it's small, I use a raw ppm (parts per million) reading. From the beginning, I calibrate it to a minimum of 800 ppm and increase it according to the plant's growth. I maintain the pH at 5.8 throughout the entire cycle. Watering is done with 200ml of solution, and the runoff is checked daily. If the ppm rises too much, I perform a flush. This week, the soil's ppm was already reaching almost 700, so I did a flush with 500ml of pure water and calibrated pH. Soon, I will begin pruning, considering Topping, LST, and Lollipoping. OBS: I have been adding H2O2 to the waterings to prevent gnats and unwanted pests.

As of March 27, Day 7 of the grow, the seedling is doing alright but showing minor cal-mag deficiency. I will be doing a little cal-mag foliar spraying to help get through this delicate period. I turned on my HLG-100v2 light and have the seedling vegging under a 20/4 hour light schedule. I have transitioned up to .8EC as increasing the cal-mag in the coco is important after a week of low EC fertigation. I maintain a 5 gallon nutrient reservoir with an air stone and H202 to keep it sterile, and have a pump to automatically water 3 times a day for 20 second intervals. March 29, Day 9: I am still trying to correct the minor cal-mag issues, but the Euforia is still growing at a pretty good speed so I am not too worried. March 30, Day 10: running a humidifier under a clear dome to get the RH up for the seedling.

Hey folks! ✌️ I was sick for a whole week and skipped last week's update, but I've got some exciting things to share with you now. At the time of this post, we're on day 53 of flowering. While I was down with a fever, the plants suffered a bit due to drying out. The big one was hit the hardest. As soon as I started feeling better, I watered them, but the big plant experienced some gnarly salt buildup. Both plants were emergency flushed, and now the situation is more than good. During this time, the male plants were actively producing pollen, which I collected. I've decided that I have enough pollen for future experiments, so today I culled the males to ease the workload. In my small tent, the LSD auto by Barney's Farm is flowering. I might pollinate one branch to see what happens. The big plant is struggling with the weight of its branches, knocking its neighbors' heads (it even broke off some male branches!). I've tied the heavy branches to wire supports attached to the main stem. Now I can clearly see the seeds forming and maturing. I'll keep the plants until the seeds start dropping onto the floor. The plants have fully recovered and are feeling great. For nutrients, I'm using AB at 40ml per 5l with an PPM of 1695 and pH of 6.1. This week I repotted the plants into the bigger pots and gave the plant i don't want to keep a new pot. They grew a bit but not that much. They also look a little light green again but that is because of the sun shining on them. I put them inside at night because it still is like 13-15 degrees outside. Did some LST again. Will give them some Canna Cure in a few hours or tomorrow morning.

Hey now I hope everyone is having a great weekend, this will be the final week for all 5 of the ladies. I am still feedinig them all silica, cal mag, maxibloom, and some PK booster for an EC of 1.4 and PH of around 6.1. I am still feeding them 4 times per day and will transition to H20 only on Monday, so they will get about a 5 day flush and I will harvest them on Saturday. I have a bunch of help lined up for the trim so I'm thinking we can get all 5 plants cleaned up in a few hours. The Sundae Driver looks amazing, alot of purples and nice tight colas. The Red Hot Cookies looks like it will have excellent bag appeal and colors and smells nice. The Bubble Runtz has the most Indica looking structure with shorter fatter colas, and the Durban Nights has huge chunky colas but not as long, and the Green Crack smells amazing and is sticky AF but has the smalles colas of the five. 09/12/2018 Purple tip cutting seems to be taking .#1 is filling out well lots of fresh flowers stacking up nicely.#2,#3,#4 all doing well👍hope they finish up in 4weeks🙏 No feeding this week just molasses for soil microbes, 09/17/2019 Did some defoiliating and green tie 's to spread out lower branches on #1 . she is a beast. Seeing, some differences between #2,#3,#4 .#4 being darker green, #3 is paler green #2 not as pale, #1 lighter green but not pale at all. Given deep soaking today, and I noticed phase 3 flowering is starting!🙏 should start stacking them fat buds for next couple of weeks hope she done at 10 weeks fingers crossed.
