Les branches et la plante en général doivent rester liées pendant tout le cycle de vie, jusqu'à la récolte.
Si elle était déliée, il y aurait une nouvelle distribution de l'hormone de croissance et donc un nouveau fort stress pour la plante: compromettre la récolte finale.
