Hey hey my fellow growers, I hope everyone had an excellent week! It is great to be back here at the beginning of week six, let’s get into it! Last week I had misspoke- I said I was going to train 5 of the 6 plants I have going from fastbuds, this was false…. What I meant is all 6… Yes at the time I had only INTENDED on messing with 5 but the last one, the way it was structured with the self top, it was practically BEGGING me to get in there and play with it- and I ask you this- who would I be to deny that little strawberry pie the simple pleasure of a little training? So train I did… Nothing crazy, but actually for all six plants (despite my best efforts, best being debatable) to not go overboard- I have been going in a doing a little bit of training and taking a leaf off here and there if it’s blocking any potential bud sites. I am trying to be really careful and not do too much at once and upset any of them- but at the same time, after stunting them a bit with the taproot incident (which I will keep referring to until I learn from that mistake) I want to do what I can to maximize yield after tripping up a bit in the beginning. We will see how it goes, but for now, everything seems to be doing well and responding well to the bit of training I have been doing. Right now I am seeing a range of sizes among the bunch- the forbidden runtz are both shorter and squatier coming in at about 5.5 inches in height each and I notice everything is spaced a bit tighter on these so I have had some difficulty spreading them out but not to any problematic extent, just in comparison with the rest- Next we have the strawberry pie- the smaller one coming in at 5.5inches, is the one that I was speaking about that had topped itself. It seems to be doing well and handling the training just fine. However the other one, that one is much bigger and is about 8.5 inches tall. It wasn’t until I busted out the ruler that I saw that this was the second biggest plant of the fast buds. That leaves the largest which of course was the gorilla cookies! The smaller of the two is coming in at 8 inches and the larger one coming in at 9.5! They are both tied down and doing great, showing growth each day after being trained and having select leaves removed. We are getting closer and closer to flower I hope to have a bit more time with them but that is totally in their hands, so we will see what happens- the game plan now for me at this point is to keep doing what I’ve been doing- trying to balance on a delicate line. As far as other news… I am doing dishes the other day- I have my phone propped up with YouTube on and dude grows playing (my preferred way to do dishes) I hear the dude mention a giveaway they are doing that I had submitted an entry for recently so my ears had perked up…👀 I saw they had the contest page pulled up and on display and I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be cool if I got to see my picture right now, sure enough- I hear them start talking about my pictures! I in no way won (at this point, my fingers are crossed though haha) and I realize that this is debatably anticlimactic however, I listen to these guys everyday at work so I was stoked! I still am! On day 1 the reservoirs PH is 6.3. The rez is 483 ppm. The girls are looking good and nitrogen toxicity seems to have stopped. On day 2 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.1 to 6.3. The rez is 477 ppm. Trichomes seem to be 10% cloudy so I still have a bit to go i'm thinking 9 weeks should be a good bet! On day 3 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.4 to 6.1. The rez is 500 ppm. On day 4 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 503 ppm. I lowered the ppfd so my tallest received 900 ppfd and an average of 543 ppfd. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 519 ppm. I removed some of the extra fan leaves blocking bud sites. On day 6 I changed out the reservoir with only tap water and adjusted the PH from 6.7 to 6.1 with a ppm of 249. The trichomes are maturing and I plan on harvesting on week 8 day 4 of flower. On day 7 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.5 to 6.0. The rez ppm is 250.

Flowering day 34 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.2 l (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. D15. Week three, and slowly things are starting to happen. She is stretching out and getting wider, and her root development looks good. I increased the DLI to 22 and plan to raise it further over the week. ------------------------------ D16. Transplanted, added worms, and watered with 1 liter of water @ pH 6.4, with one teaspoon of myco/kelp mixed in. ------------------------------ D18. Yesterday, a few of her leaves were drooping but have sprung back. (Maybe a tiny transplant shock or slight overwatering after the transplant...?) In any case, she is now growing along and looking healthy. I increased the DLI to 24 yesterday and 26 today. She doesn't need any more water yet, but I will continue to hand water until her roots have developed enough to drink from the reservoir. ------------------------------ D21. End of the third week, and all is well in the tent. She loves her new home, although I've spotted yellow tips on two new leaves and burnt tips on a couple of old leaves, so it seems that this super-soil might be a bit "hot." I'm being a bit unfair since I had to use a magnifier to spot the burnt tips. That's how minor the damage is. I increased DLI to 30, and still, no water was needed. ------------------------------

She grew 17cm this week. Over doubled her height. Lets see what she does in the next couple of weeks. I note she got a LOT bushier. Also her leaves are VERY broad and indica like for such a sativa strain! 😶

Hi everyone I chop her down day 86 and let her dry in 19° temp and RH 65 % I'm going to slow drying for best results 7 to 8 days She is very dense and sticky bud and so heavy too I think she yield over 150g plus but the bud are not 100% purple its mix with light purple and green ass you can see in pic or video but still I'm very very happy and already germinate another purple lemonade 💜 next week I will update smoke reviews and final dry weight 😀

Well. All growing cycle long watering with ph balanced clear water. We used our own super soil mix. In final results we get 138gr natural, 100% organic nuggets. Perfect seed supplier and perfect final. Smoke taste good and effect is light. Perfect chill after long working day. Many thanks Royal Queen Seeds and specially Jams. They know how to make us happy.💚

Beginning of week.. I only went up on the FloraNectar Fruit-N-Fusion.. The rest, I am going to wait till next week to change up.. The Mandarin Cookies seems like she is right at the end of the stretch.. Still slightly but just about done, if not done now. Both of these girls are stacking calyxes and pistils.. Both are giving off purple stiples.. Not calyxes or pistils.. But the stiples ONLY are purple.. Crazy.. Never seen that before and both ladies have it.. The smells are both already beginning to appear! Both are very tangy already! So excited! Just defoliated a bit more to the Mandarin Cookies this morning.. That's all I think I'm going to do.. Unless I find a larfy nug somehwere.. Other than a few stragglers I may have missed, I believe I'm done with defoliating both ladies now.. Second time with ETHOS Genetics.. Not even halfway thru flower and I can already tell both of these will be on the top of my fav's list for sure. Wow.. Lol Mid week.. Ok so I think the Mandarin Cookies is showing a phosphorus deficiency.. It looks very similar to pH fluctuation.. So.. Stupidly.. yesterday, I went ahead and did a FloraKleen flush in the AM.. Just a plain pH'd water flush in the PM.. And the next AM I went ahead and fed her with the normal dosage I have posted, with the exception of 1.5 tsp/g of the FloraBloom instead of 1 tsp/g.. But it's still too early to tell if it's clearing up.. As a matter of fact.. It does look worse today.. It has spread a little since... 2 days ago.. Which is understandable.. I'm still trying to bring the runoff PPM back up.. Once it's where I'd like it, or where SHE likes it, it should clear up within a week.. Oh.. The runoff pH is like 5.6 - 5.5... I know they say that's ok.. But I have YET to have a plant survive even in hydro at 5.5 pH.. Idk why they even say that's ok to be at lol.. If this isn't a phosphorus deficiency.. Then its gonna be pH fluctuation.. Ugh.. Should've just started with new, buffered coco/perlite in fabric pots.. But they are both trucking along.. ETHOS Cookies smells so dank.. I can't even begin to describe.. Mandarin Cookies is smelling very fruity.. Both have VERY complex aromas for sure! Typical ETHOS strains for sure... I can tell these are gonna be some awesome nugs when these girls are finished! End of week.. Mandarin Cookies has stopped stretching for sure.. The calyxes are already so fat! This is gonna be some nice bud for sure.. Very fruity, sweet, citrusy.. Man, I can't wait to taste her! And the ETHOS Cookies.. Wow.. Such a different scent than I've ever smelled before.. Very hard to pinpoint exactly.. Still short as all fuck, but these colas should be pretty nice and dence.. The tips of the calyxes are already turning purple/blue.. I know the temps aren't low at all.. Even at night.. About 82F - 84F during the day and 73F - 75F at night.. Humidity jumps up and down.. Idk wtf the deal is with that.. But they are both lovin life.. I believe the Phosphorus def. has slowed and almost stopped at this point.. The runoff pH is getting even lower.. Now it is coming out at 5.5.. I've ran FloraKleen thru.. Flushed the shit out of the medium multiple times.. Smh.. Can't seem to get this to clear up.. The ETHOS Cookies runoff pH is perfect.. Going it at 6.2 every watering/feeding and runoff is 6.1 - 6.2 with no fluctuations whatsoever.. Perfect! My best guess is that I left the too many roots from the previous grow and they go acidic after a while.. The ETHOS Cookies pot maybe didnt have as much? And it was able to clear out now?? No idea.. I hope the Mandarin Cookies clears out soon.. Or at least that she makes it through till harvest.. ETHOS Genetics for the win!... On to the next week!...

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!
