So now I have finally harvested my first hydro plant!! It was a pleasure. My partner and I were busy cutting the plant all Sunday. Everything is ready and it is now hanging! To grow: I'll keep it short. At the beginning I worked according to the individual cann thinning scheme. Halfway through the grow I started working with H2o2 because I couldn't maintain the temperatures in the water to avoid illness. The plant was grown like a photoperiod plant because I also had photos in the tent. The plant also suffered a nutrient burn during the flowering phase. I think I worked with the PK 13/14 too early. I'm happy that I was able to learn so much from the grow.

Day 65: All good they are stinky and getting ready soon. BlackBerry Kush and LSD-25 will be harvested in 2 weeks so I started flushing them. Rest of them need more time at least 3 weeks or 4. Water intake 200 ml a day no more fertilization for Balckberry Kush and LSD-25. 600W LED, 18 hours on 6 hours off humidity is low approx 35 percent.

Pheno 1: strong natural tart cherries with a slight candy Pheno 2: loud cherry candy Pheno 3: cherry fun dip Pheno 4: cherries mashed with earthiness Pheno 5: the strongest cherry pheno I’ve ever smelt. Just loud cherries in your face. I kept pheno 3 and 5. I pressed both into rosin and the terps were insane it smelt like I worked a double at the marischino cherry factory. The terps on 3 were cherries on the inhale with a candy fun dip exhale (absolutely up my alley). Pheno 5 was the most in your face cherry I’ve ever tasted. It was straight cherries throughout the inhale exhale with a slight tart/candy on the back end. I have found my cherry phenos for my future business. Thank you for riding this journey with me. Living Environment: The Humidity Dome Setup The seedlings are living in a humidity dome, where we’re keeping the relative humidity (RH) close to 100%. This level of RH mimics a tropical environment, creating the ideal conditions for delicate young plants that need extra hydration support as they begin to develop roots and leaves. Why High Humidity? • Encourages Strong Root Development: At nearly 100% RH, plants focus on root growth while pulling in moisture directly from the air, helping them establish themselves early on. • Protects from Stress: The high humidity reduces transpiration (water loss through leaves), which prevents drying and keeps seedlings hydrated. • Promotes Healthy Leaf Growth: With constant access to moisture, the leaves expand smoothly, giving each plant a strong start in the vegetative phase. Growth Status & Observations 🌱 These little mutants are showing some funky characteristics and growing at their own unique pace—a perfect reminder that no two plants are the same! Each seedling has sprouted its initial set of leaves, and I’m seeing great promise in their vigor and resilience. Key Observations: • Color: The seedlings are a healthy green, with some displaying slight variances in shade—typical of unique genetics like Mentha de Croco. • Structure: Leaves are developing steadily, with short internodes (the space between sets of leaves) that hint at nice, compact growth patterns as they continue. • Energy: Each plant seems to be finding its rhythm, which is a beautiful thing to watch! Some are taking their time, while others are diving right into rapid growth. Nutrients & Supplements 💧 For this first week, I’m keeping it light on nutrients, letting the seedlings draw what they need from the Root Riots and the remaining seed stores. However, I’ve continued using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster, both at 1ml/L, to support foundational growth. Why These Nutrients? • Aptus Regulator: Adds silicon to fortify cell walls, giving the seedlings extra strength to handle environmental changes. Welcome to week 10 of my Strawberry Cheesecake diary by seedsman, grown by me, Ctrellis90. So as you can see she's almost done! So that's pretty exciting! I had to get down and scrape out her top layer of soil last week because of some moisture problems in the soil but I think everything is fine for her last week in earth. The trichomes are almost right where I want them so that's all I'm doing now is waiting for those bad boys to turn so I can chop this pretty lady down. It was a lot of fun growing her, so much so that I had to out another one in the ground lol. This time in coots mix from BAS. Hopefully she doesn't burnt up....I've had that happen before when I mixed the soil wrong. Anyways I did give her just a little more Gaia all purpose for her last week just incase she has some more flower to put on for me. The flowers developing very good. I gave them water with some Hybrid and Booster powder from Green House Feeding and some Cal-Green from Metrop.
