Day 14 VEG: A good week of settling in and heading outwards to the pots edges this week. No stress , just a nice, relaxed , adjusting to the world they will inhabit for the next 10 weeks or so. They are nearly all on their 5th nodes now so will possibly begin to play with the 5th growth nodes this week to break the apical dominance ( focus of energy on the main stem and bud) . I do like how neat and tidy autos can grow naturally but they can also get leggy and waste a lot of grow room vertical space that is always at a premium for me in my cramped , awkward space. I plan to now use 3 different methods on the Amnesia haze to compare side-by-side as we grow. Will hopefully answer some questions about the methods and which produces better results. One will be topped , one f.i.mmed and the last one trained over horizontal at the 5th node but uncut. The last method is better suited to a wider pot than the ones I am using but will be worth a try !. They are currently happy and healthy with no signs of any genetic issues but the #2 is in a more compacted soil which has resulted in an odd rectangular shape to her overall footprint. Her middle leaf points are retarded on all of her fan leaves so far and it will be interesting to see how she progresses too. The Girl scout cookies are also nice and healthy looking so far with no concerns at all. I plan to defoliation one of these ladies at intervals and stripped her right back during flowering while the other one is kept intact with a light defol as it grows to avoid light blocking only. Again this could answer a few queries regarding autoflowers and defoliation for a few of us. I hope to make this an interesting and informative run and welcome any comments , advice/questions or general chatter as we go along. Be well UPDATE DAY 15 LST. today I started working with the ladies and completed the planned methods for them #1 Amnesia haze had the F.I.M which inhopenworks ( irony at it's best!!). I chose topping of Amnesia haze #2 as she looks like her nodes will be quite far apart compared to the other 2 and her lower growth was nowhere near as bushy as her 2 sisters either. This topping should stop her pushing the height of the lights up for her lankinness. #3 is going to be pulled over on her 5th node once it is long enough to pin down to 90° . Girl scout cookies have been cleaned of their 1st and 2nd nodes so i can focus the attention on the 5 remaining mains as they grow out more.. watch this space.lol .

Hi@all, it is the end of the fifth week, I started some low-stress training to bend the lower branches towards the light. It worked really well. Three days ago, I topped the "head". I hope she's recovering from it in the next days/week. So far, everything seems to be going well and it’s really enjoyable. 😎🌿 My only concern is the 40x40 cm tent – I think it might be a bit tight in there... Greetings ✌️

Week 3 of my soon-to-be purple ladies! 😻 Everything was going well but I noticed these issues: - The girl on the back is stretching waaaaay more and is less "leafy" than her sister. Perhaps she has more sativa in her DNA? - Leaves on both girls love to twirl around, specially on the girl on the front. - The stem on both girls is still weak and the girl on the front no longer needs the extra help she needed! Weather where I live is getting colder for some odd reason (it should be the opposite, damn!) and the "purple" is... perhaps starting to show a little? I turned her pot and plucked a couple of yellow shade leaves...the basic daily maintenance. 9/22- I didn't water her yesterday as she looked great and was 'praying' hard. Today she was given 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ which I gave her through her drip pan (bottom chuggin) and I also gave her pot a turn. She continues to have a great deep green color that is beautifully contrasted by the snow white trichomes piling up on them! Her height has not really increased but she is extremely bushy with tight node spacing which will necessitate plucking some leaves to keep the light penetrating into her canopy. 9/24- We're getting close to wrapping up Week Five of flower in a couple of days and she'll be past the half-way point with the most exciting weeks yet to come! I didn't water yesterday and today I went ahead and Top Dressed her with 2 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4, 1 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Gold Premium 4-4-4, 1/2 cup Down To Earth Bio-Fish, 1/3 cup Down To Earth High Phosphorus Bat Guano and 2 cups of Worm Castings. I watered in the Top Dress with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ and let her enjoy her meal! 😜 9/26- After her heavy watering on the 24th I didn't water yesterday and when I checked her today at 'lights on' and she still had some weight to her pot and her leaves were praying hard so I held off on watering today and will hit her tomorrow with her usual 0.75g watering. ~Thanks for stopping in! 😍😍 flipped the switch to 12/12 two days ago!! The scrog has been set beautifully again. I am going to leave the plants a little bushier this time until later. not a jungle tho lol still manicured nicely. got most of the leaves below the net cleaned up, will do a final clean up in about a week. cant wait to see all the different strains. I think i manicured TOO much last run and the plants could be stronger with a few more fan leaves than last time. Ill clean it up more later on. anywho, all looks good and thanks for following along! 😊
