And here we are at the end of this magnificent journey on the spaceship Black Orchid Automatic, a phenomenal strain from Zamnesia, it is the last beauty harvested more or less at the same time as the others but shown separately for the amount of important photos that I am taking. Please take a look at the macros (micro) and let me know what you think. This week I'm talking about the harvest of the third and last lady, the purple one, very purple to be clear. She grew a lot, she matured quite quickly and produced a lot of resin. The flowers are quite hard and of a wonderfully wonderful color. The smell is very particular probably from the purple / cookies / cake area but the strong point of this beauty are the trichomes. The girl offers a park of trichomes of a disarming beauty, the more I shot the more I wanted to shoot, I was left speechless for real. We have purple stuff in the stem, purple noba in the gland, totally purple stuff in the stem with amber gland, glands in various shades of purple. Wonder for real. There is still something transparent but it had to come venia, like animals feel earthquakes I start to feel the mold in advance, or maybe I'm paranoid, anyway we are mostly cloudy, something amber and a thousand shades of purple and something even transparent. For me it's fine like this baby. Harvest time, in the drying room. I strongly recommend you to try this strain both in the feminized version and this one in the photoperiod version, if this plant doesn't convince you wait to see the next two that I will publish in the next two weeks but they have already been harvested. The taste is still CALI in sense of purple part of cookies family. We feel like we're teleporting to Los Angeles with Snoop making a blunt, incredible California flavor, to be clear in a coffee shop in Amsterdam you would pay 25 to 30 euros per gram. Everything has always been grown with Plagron Pro Mix soil which I found exceptional, I was used to using Light Mix but I had probably underestimated the power and cleanliness of going 100% organic. It has an absorption coefficient that I find very pleasant, it dries with less aggressiveness than the light mix so you will not have that phenomenon that when the plant is too dry the water goes down. With this soil it is more difficult as it is more difficult to have midges. In my MODEST opinion pre-fertilized are fertile ground for ground midges with this soil I have had ZERO GNATS, before ever. So everything took off in flower, I was super harsh with the defoliating which initially I regretted, but was surprised with how they packed out during the following weeks. In general it's impressive how hardy these plants are. Even the outdoor grows yielded some quality. Add some more nuets (overdrive and carbo load), before flushing about 14 days before harvest, next time I'll do this earlier and really the Runtz could have gone another week but my drying needs to happen in the same space as my growing for now. Apologies for the quality of image, I'm just using my phone and some bits I have to document, I collect records too, so expect weird noises lol. Build a rotating plat from a lazt susan I found, has been the best piece of kit added this season.

This week the plant only got Water. Light hits the plant with around 750 PPFD

week two flower everything looks healthy :D today i defoliated them i watered them with 1.5l every 48h the light i use was set to 80% and it hangs 80cm away from the tops

Defoliated throughout the days. The past week nutrients fed were at ph 5.7/5.8. Switched to 6.0 now. Smell is strong. Friend commented he could smell the red pop upon entering the front door immediately. Feeding to run off every other day still. Added calmag this week. Not sure if I will continue to use or not. I do not want it to affect colors from changing as I approach later into flower. Added a temp & humidity meter this week. Usually reset once a day, or every other day.

Week 3 begins for LSD and Green Crack. Both ladies are looking good, but had some small signs of deficiency. Added big bud coco and upped feeding another liter (split feed day 1 & day 5 of each week), hopefully this will help resolve the deficiencies. Thanks for stopping by growfessors 👽🌳💚

Flipped these ladies 06 Oct 23 (Friday). After watering 09 Oct 23 (Monday) I walked in and the before SOG photos are what it looked like, I put up the new net and tied a few tops down to spread the canopy out. With the new trellis in place I'm going to let theses ladies rip and add another trellis once they outgrow their current one.

Well, this week has been eventful. What started with a fly deciding to lay eggs in my buckets with larvae swimming around and chilling on my roots turned into a bit of a disaster. I used very weak H2O2 (diluted 3% solution). To try and clean infestation, the roots didn’t like it, even though the actual concentration of H2O2 was probs less than 0.25%. Lesson learned 🙃 It has given some of them a touch of root rot (this is an assumption because I can’t figure out what else it could have been). So growth has stunted a lot. Just before the bug problem, I increased EC to 1.1, this was probably another mistake, the smaller girls at the back with a smaller root mass got massive lock out, potassium, mag and calcium by the looks of it, coupled with a few not so well timed PH swings out of the 5.5-6.5 range gave me a lot to combat this week. But, life goes on, they’re still alive (just about)... As this is probably the hardest curve ball I’ve had thrown at me since I started growing canna, I have cut back the EC to 0.56 to allow them to heal. Probably wrongly decided to top them all as they were growing past 7th node, either it’s gonna pay off, or I’ll be posting harvest details of 0g by this time next week 👽 I am on a stay at home holiday from work for the next 3 weeks, so looks like my babies are staying in the ICU and I’ll do my best to bring them back to life 😊

A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. I'm a little bit late with starting this grow because the plants will finish around end of december or so, so i'm basically counting on a warm december :) It was supposed to start earlier, and I did germinate 11 seeds last month but only three of the lot sprouted out, it was totally my fault and i did abort that grow so we could start with a clean slate and at least four plants....so here we are ;) All three Do-Si-Dos seeds popped after 36 hours in a glass of water and after planting them in rockwool cubes all of them sprouted. My original plan was to grow Kalini Asia and all of the Kalini Asia seeds popped after 36 hours in a glass of water, but thanks to my thick awkward fingers the little seedlings were manhandled by my big hands and non of them came out from the rockwool cubes...my fingers are killers to most of my little sprouts :/ Sorry for that Zamnesia. This week, we’ve shifted our focus to flushing and preparing the soil for future use. Environment and Conditions Tent: 3x3, kept clean and efficient for optimal growing conditions. Lighting: ViparSpectra P2000, still providing the perfect spectrum as we approach harvest. Watering: TDS at 130, pH 6.8, and water temperature at 21°C, a significant shift from our previous nutrient-rich regimen. Nutrient Regimen This week, we’ve stopped all nutrient feedings and switched to using Aptus Holland Enzym+ exclusively.
