Well week 15 and 5th week of flower started yesterday, 9/12. I did a little more defoliation over the weekend, maybe cut 20 leaves altogether. Everything is still looking good. Temps are good, rh is good, airflow is definitely good. And judging by the frosty trichs that are showing I'd say everything is right on schedule. Starting to get more smell. That's about it for now. Growing big and strong, theres some marks on the leaves nothing bad it seems, looks like a catterpillar is guilty hopefully. I added dr greenthumbs mycos because who doesnt like a funguy.

One day high of only 72 and low of 44 while most of the others in the mid-80s and low in the 50s. Most of the days were sunny and there was one day of thunderstorms. I can see with the erratic conditions; she has not grown as full and leafy as she should have by now. She only grew about an inch and now 6" tall. I fed kelp and TPS1 once this week. Starting off this new run strong!!! Loving how fast the sprouties are growing. They look pretty happy to me. Maybe bottled nutes are best for my indoor.

Week 10 – Ready for the final stretch Most of the pistils have turned brown, with only a few white hairs remaining – a clear sign that harvest is approaching fast. The buds have bulked up nicely, becoming denser and stickier, covered in a frosty layer of trichomes. The aroma has intensified, leaning towards a sweet, fruity profile, likely enhanced by the Bud Candy. The foliage looks healthy, and I performed a light defoliation to improve airflow. At the beginning of the week, the plant received its final feeding: a mix of Green Sensation and Bud Candy in 2 liters of distilled water. That was followed by a dose of Flawless Finish. From now on, only pH-adjusted water will be used until harvest.

25.9. Vor ein Paar Tagen hat die Pflanze trotz Dünger begonnen, Farbe zu verlieren. Das bedeutet für mich das wir aufs Ende zugehen. Seit drei Tagen bekommt sie nur Wasser, doch die Verfärbungen sind schon klar zu sehen. Die Stempel bewegen sich in die richtige Richtung, was deren Farbe betrifft. Da der Indica Anteil hier scheinbar höher ist, gehe ich von maximal 9 Wochen Blüte aus. Das heißt, ab heute zwei Wochen. Update 30.9. Die Blüten gehen von der Form her in eine gute Richtung. Die Trichome sind sehr weit. Wird auf jeden Fall ne knusprige Angelegenheit. Mein goldenes Stück 💩

Harvest day 70 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 16-18 degrees and 55-59% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. . Welcome to my Royal Gorilla Diary This grow will join the RQS outdor grow contest at later time, I hope i get lucky and bugs won't eat it. After receiving contest box, i asked about germinating indoors, after confirmation i popped a seed in the soil. Germinated in pot indoors (gift pack was massive! see pics), after germination i put outdoor but i kinda forgot her. This one is growing together with a small tobacco plant to keep some unwanted insects away, i want to add some dill and coriander soon. So our royal gorilla is in her second week already, and she looks pretty healthy. Soil is reused soil with new fertilizers added to the soil. I'using a mixture of dried cow poop pellets and chicken poop pellets to give the soil some renewed power. Most of this is in the top layer of the soil (watering from above) so nutrients can be spread extra during watering. This should be enough for the first 6-7 weeks, so when the buds start to take shape we can start with adding some mineral nutrients in addition to the organic feeding.

6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

Day 51 I finally see that they are gaining weight and starting to regain color. Thursday they will take the advanced nutrients hoping to be able to improve even more. Day 56 the girls are blocked but it is my fault .. The Fruity Donutz ladies started blooming a few days ago. And with the bloom, they vigorously grew in height as well. Unlike last grow I now stopped with the Alga Grow in time so there's no sign of Nitrogen burn, just really abundant growth. The nematodes are doing their job in the soil and the black fly polulation is slowly decreasing 🎉 . The plants do not stretch as much as I feared so I'm going to let them grow without LST. The branches are naturally filling up the empty space in the GTools so I'll let nature follow it's course (as long as the course leads to rock hard buds obviously 😅). Stay tuned for more pics and updates later this week ✌️😊 🌿🌿🌿 Mid-week update Since the Fruity Donuts were stretching like crazy. The top leafs started showing signs of light stress and I had to think of a solution. One was supercropping the plants, but it felt like a bad idea. HST also has an impact on the plant growth, and both ladies are blooming now. I couldn't raise my light any higher because of the suspension system, but after a good vape I took a closer look at the clips and came up with an idea. By directly hooking the clips to the top of the GTools I got at least another 15cm of extra vertical space 🙌 . Now the plant has enough space to gorw a little bigger and the buds are safe from lightburn.
