🌱 LSD — Week 4 Veg Report (Mixed Light Histories) Quick recap for anyone joining us here at Week 4 In this run, not all plants followed the exact same light timeline early on — and that’s why we’re now seeing two distinct expressions inside the same grow, under the same current conditions. This is intentional, educational, and incredibly valuable to observe. ⸻ 🌸 The Early-18h Plant — Signs of Flower Initiation One of the plants spent a few weeks under 18 hours of light before joining the rest. Now, at Week 4, she’s clearly showing early flowering signals: • First pistils appearing • A subtle but visible shift in posture and energy • That unmistakable “I’m ready to bloom” attitude She looks beautiful — relaxed, confident, and eager to express herself. This is not stress. This is timing. What’s happening here? The earlier extended vegetative light allowed her to mature physiologically faster. Once environmental cues aligned, she was simply ready. She wants to be free. She wants to flourish. And she absolutely will. ⸻ 🌿 The Others — Classic Veg Growth, Right on Track The rest of the plants are behaving exactly as expected for Week 4 veg: • Up to 6 nodes • Clear branching initiation • Very uniform structure across individuals • No visible flowering signs yet They are lush. Deep, healthy greens. Leaf structure is expressive and full of character — a strong genetic signature showing itself clearly now. You can already tell: this is good genetics, handled with respect. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Nutrition (Unchanged, Dialed-In) Everything remains consistent across all plants: • Nutrition: unchanged, same recipe for all • Watering: same rhythm and inputs • Room temperature & environment: stable • Temperature: ~25.7 °C • Relative Humidity: ~60% • CO₂: ~666 ppm • PPFD: increased slightly this week • Now sitting around 600–700 PPFD, depending on plant size and proximity to the light • Roughly +100 PPFD compared to last week, adjusted naturally as the canopy rises This is a key point worth repeating: 👉 Different expressions are coming from timing, not from different treatment. ⸻ 🧠 Why This Matters (and Why It’s Beautiful) This week is a perfect live lesson in: • How light history influences developmental timing • Why plants in the same room can behave differently — without anything being wrong • How consistency allows genetics to speak clearly Nothing is forced here. Nothing is rushed. We’re simply listening. ⸻ 🙏 Thank You As always, a huge thank-you to everyone following along, observing, learning, and respecting the process. This diary isn’t about perfection — it’s about understanding, patience, and appreciation for the plant. The girls are shining. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. It’s the 3rd week of flower so I did a heavy defoliation on day 20. The watering is up to 7 times a day and 1 minute increments. The reservoir is 14 gallons and my total runoff at each reservoir change is only about 1 1/2 gallons in the waste bucket.

This will be the last week i will Feed. I m keeping TDS at 400PPM and PH at 5.8. This week I took out the Silica Blast, Great White and also stoped the CO2. Also I lowered the water temp to 66 degrees. Lights on temp is between 75 and 80 degrees, lights off between 65 and 72. I’m trying to keep humidity as low as possible around 45% week 10 will be flush week.

Done some LST, maybe too much lol ( I’m still learning). Topped all 4 successfully . Finally feel like I’m getting some where I have learned a hell of a lot just from these few weeks. This is the first time I’ve ever done any type of training in a strain and photoperiods so I’d rather focus on learning than just yeild.

Mr. Jones Fast Buds Moby Dick ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 🏡Indoor - 3"x4"x8" Custom Built Grow Closet 🌾This strain likes to stretch, so a heavy training regiment will be needed. 🗓️Germenation - Soaking in Water Strait into Amended Soil. ⚱️3-Gallon Pots 📊6.4 / 6.8 PH 💧 Feeding - Gaia Green Grow / Bloom 🕷️ IPM - We will be using Green Cleaner" 1 OZ per Gallon, and CannControl from Mammoth alternating between products each month for Integrated Pest Management. 🌿╰⊰´🌿╰⊰´🌿 PLANT UPDATES 🌿╰⊰´🌿╰⊰´🌿 🗓️Saturday - 11.11.23 So last week I did some training 1 plant was topped, 1 plant was LST, and the last one, the smallest one, was left alone, I am happy with the recovery as we head into week 4, this week that most FB strains begin to stretch into flower, today I started a compost tea, see recipe below, will be feeding tomorrow. Moved the plants into my stealth closet, under 2 Vipar Spectare XS 1500s. ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 📝 Notes - Original Moby Dick Auto is a world-renowned Sativa-dominant giant created from two of the most popular strains ever, the White Widow and Haze cannabis strains which are known for the huge delicious aroma, huge size and yields; It’s an extremely easy-to-grow variety highly recommended for growers of all levels seeking for maximum yields with minimum effort as this strain grows up to 150cm and yields up to 650 g/m2 in 10 weeks without extra maintenance. Thanks to its 23% THC, this marvelous hybrid is all about happiness as it will melt your worries away while boosting your mood, leaving you with a big fat smile on your face and ready to get things done as soon as you take the first hit, making it an excellent choice for social scenarios and busy workdays. The Sativa effect comes hand-in-hand with a mix of lemony, piney, and woody terpenes that translate into that classic aroma every stoner loves. ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 Compost Tea 3 Gallons Dechlorinated H20 3 Cups Malibu Compost 2T Molasses 2 T Alfalfa Meal (DTE) 2 T Kelp Meal (DTE) 1 T Bat Guano (DTE) 1 teaspoon Rootwise Bio Elixir 1)- I used a small paint strainer to hold my composts, placing an air stone right in the bag and zip-tie it nice and tight - this allows air bubbles to really agitate the micro matter off of the compost and into your tea 2)- I like to mix in the molasses (microbe food) and start my main air stone, the dry amendments and Rootwise can be just measured in the bubbles 3) - Keep the temp of the water warm to 75F/85F - too cool and the microbes reproduce too slowly and too hot will kill them. I do not delete my teas and let the plant pots dry out slightly before feeding.

Pheno 1 dark purple : On the nose, it reveals a sharp burst of fresh lemon, layered with a powerful eucalyptus aroma that’s both invigorating and camphorous. A truly refreshing and vibrant terpene profile😈🍋 Pheno 2 Green : this one is a real surprise! If I close my eyes, it’s like Nutella! It’s as if you’ve just walked into a kitchen where hazelnuts have been freshly roasted 🤤🌰 Pheno 3 light purple : It’s a mix of the first two with a hint of amarena cherry at the end🍒🍧

So excited, been very busy again so I didn't pull as many leaves as I wanted, still pretty proud though. The smell is very strong, the buds feel rock hard. I'm going to invest in a 2nd dehumidifier before I start another run, 2 of the plants are WAY behind, both of them have been little jerks the whole run, starting from runty ugly seeds and limping the whole way, one is so sparce, the other "runty one, is actually way too compact, I didn't get it open enough early, so it has just been a little mess the whole time, she IS the frostiest, but her buds are tiny tiny, even the tops are tiny, but I will just make dry ice hash with that one and make rosin. I'm super stoke though, I need to clean the room pretty good this next week during my 1st week of flush to get ready for a harvest in 10-14 more days...

Final painting and floor trim completed. Walls are white and bright. I started to construct the main flood table. It is made of 2x3's and a sheet of chipboard. I fastened some rails at the perimeters and used caulking to seal all gaps. I will coat the face of the chipboard with a polyurea flat roof coating to make it completely watertight. I have 1/4 : 12 slope on it right now so that it drains to the reservoir end. I stained the sides of the table grey to match the floor trim because ambiance matters Shelves are up to hold my nutes/test pens/genetics/nug/papers/etc... I brought in one of the 3 HLG 550 clone qb's to test for light as I have never seen them in action. WOW!! Having one running is quite intense, I cant wait to see what all 3 going over the 4x10 area will look like (with shades on of course) A minor adjustment is needed to the height of the A/C exhaust vent. It is currently too high by 2" and needs to be lowered. Kind of a pain in the ass, but needs to be done for the table to fit snug. Previous total spend $2430 This weeks spend = $50 (hardware) $165 - killer deal on ebay for 8 inch fan/filter/ducting. open box, new

Felt like growing was slow going this week. I know they’re only 7 days from breaking ground so they’re establishing their roots but there was two days I felt like they didn’t grow at all. I germinated two more seeds, was going to have a total of 5 in my 4x4 but I somehow managed to kill both my master kush seeds despite having a beautiful tap root when I planted them into the soil. (Any advice/methods for getting seedlings going from germination to 🌱 is welcome and appreciated) My two Gorilla Breath plants struggled for the last 3 days of this week and went pretty yellow, which I presumed was a lack of nutrients since they’re only in solo cups right now with Fox Farm soil. They most likely used up all those nutrients and thus began showing signs of nutrient deficiency. I plan to make the next transplant into pro mix with added perlite so I have Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow, Bloom on standby with RO water for that process. I ended up giving the two gorilla breath a 1/3 dose of micro, grow, bloom in 1L of water for one of their feedings to attempt to get some color back. It seemed to start working as you can see on the pictures. I was into my local hydro store today to buy some perlite to add to my pro mix next week and the guy talked me into some foliar spray (see attached image) to address the nutrient deficiency. I sprayed it on the leaves right before lights out on day 7 (February 6th) Hopefully that helps them out. Time will tell. I also struggled with humidity this week, ended up using a wet towel temporarily to keep humidity levels around 50% but I ended up ordering a humidifier on amazon and got that set up today. Super happy with the results from that 😁 Stay blessed and happy growing!
