🌸 Week 4 Flower Report: Growth, Challenges & Big Changes! 🌸 Hey, Grow Diaries Fam! ✨ We’re here at Week 4 of Flower, and what a week it’s been—packed with challenges, adjustments, and exciting progress! Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! This marks the start of a new chapter, and I’m incredibly curious to see how the plants react to these changes. Here’s the current nutrient mix: • System Clean: 0.5 ml/L • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L • RO Water Conditioner: 0.8 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid: 2.1 ml/L I’m keeping the pH at 6.1 and TDS at 556 ppm, and so far, the plants are thriving. This week also included a thorough system clean, ensuring everything runs smoothly as we enter the final flowering stages. 🌿 Bud Development: Pure Magic! The bud formation across all the genetics is nothing short of incredible. Every plant is thriving, and the canopy is lush, vibrant, and full of potential. I’ve raised the PPFD to 750 for this stage, with temps steady at 25°C and RH at 63%—keeping the VPD dialed in at 1.11. She's looking super healthy and and strong can't wait to see this beautiful strain in full flowering stage, I'm feeling a very good stretch,shed definitely a big girl,she's eating very well, no deficientes or nutrients burn so far. Let's see how this wonderful organic lady performs. On August 9th I start to see the change from vegetative stage to flowering stage,she looks super healthy and strong,I missed some watering a few days ago,however she is perfectly fine and happy,she's a dream to grow.

Transplanted em outside in the ground week 6 they got swamped on week 7 and got severely over watered week 8 I put em in new 45 gallon fabric pots and buried them a bit deeper to help root development they look better today then they do in the video....I'm a newb so knew nothing about ph and the 45 gallon pots have a ph of 8 very alkaline so there now not absorbing nutrient....bought ph down and going to start adding it to water and nutes apparently rain water has a low ph and it's raining again all week....hopefully it helps until I'm able to give them ph down....should be hard for them to get over watered in 45 gal pots...looking like a failed harvest

Gorilla Jealousy F1 is growing great. I just did her first lst training today. Getting her spread out and center opened up for future growth. Everything is looking great. She is eating and drinking a lot. Nothing more to report at the moment. She had her last feeding 3 days ago and just had a final flush. Water only now. I’m thinking another 5 days maybe watching closely tho. Love this plant she has a great smell buds are dense and stickey. Very excited for harvest.and dry cure period.

6.12.25. 6th week flower started on 6.9. Gorilla zkittles still looking like a Frankenstein after being stunted by tying her down and being way stressed out! Still growing away though putting on bud but this is the smallest plant i have ever grown! Little disappointing but can’t wait for next grow! I’ll never stop growing been going strong for 15 years! Girls are doing great. Im getting great air circulation and it is doing wonders for them. Going to defoliated next week for better light penetration

******************************************************************** START OF WEEK Went to the grow store and wound up with an AC Infinity EVO6. It should be a nice light for the future, and when my warranty replacement comes back, assuming that won't be an issue, it'll be nice to have a decent back-up. That's the bright side, but I am a little bummed about laying down the cash with ten to 14 days left. That part is the kick in the nutes. Fine, moving on. As for the grow, it's plowing forward. These plants are doing all the things we want them to do right now. They're getting fat, they're getting sticky, and the fade is fading away. Some branches may call for some last minute support, but for now the sucked-in tent walls will continue to suffice. The feed is still at 1100ppm and pk boosted, but the plan is to finish this week around 750. ******************************************************************** END OF WEEK Day 63 of flowering has arrived. I've backed off the nutrients. We're now sitting at 850ppm with about 6-8 gallons in the system remaining. This should equate to a Thursday refill with no feed, and then a Saturday or Sunday chop. VPD has been running a touch high this week, but that's not a concern. It's staying in the ideal range for most of the lights on period, and then trailing up in the last few hours to around 1.7-1.8. No biggie. The new light is really nice, but it runs hotter than the combo of the S22 and S44 (500W total), and that's with the EVO6 driver outside of the tent. This also isn't a big deal. The max tent temp is around 84, and before that wouldn't get past 82. Not a huge difference, and potentially better for the plants with the additional heat. I've got two CO2 mushroom bags in there, so more temp should mean more production at that level. I'm excited for this grow to finish and I'm looking forward to sampling the variety. I'm definitely using half, if not more, to make bubble hash. I'm probably just going to run it all together, as opposed to having runs for each pheno. I'll sample the tops independently, and smash rosin by pheno, but I'm not sold on isolating the hash. Seems like triple the work, but I've got a week to make further considerations, so we'll see. This will be my last grow until I sell this place and move into my next place. I'm going to miss growing. It's brought me a ton of peace by giving me something to anticipate, study, and take pride in. It's such an enjoyable hobby. I'll miss it in the time being, but I'm grateful that I won't need to step foot inside of a dispensary in 2024. Big win there! Everyone should grow their own.

She should produce some nice nuggets.
